Meshidawg walks inside the tavern. "Master Thorn, will you offer me a horse and a few potions," Meshidawg shows a satchel of 50 coins. Meshidawg see Ravia across the table "Would you like something Ravia,"
Master Thorn looks at Meshidawg.
"A good riding horse will cost you 75 gold easy, and that doesn't count his bit, bridle and saddle," Master Thorn says drolly.
Pratap hops on bar and gives Master Thorn a stern look and Master Thorn looks both shocked and a little amused.
"Well... seeing as you're in a fix, I suppose I can give you the horse and gear, plus I'll provide you with a backpack, waterskin, and three days worth of food for you, as well as a bedroll, fifty feet of rope, and a mess kit to cook your meals in - all for an even 100 gold pieces total."
"Seeing as your tower is here I know you'll return - assuming you survive, that is... So I'll take your fifty gold pieces now, and you can pay me the rest when you get back," he says amicably.
Ravia nods.
"This is a reasonable arrangement; if you are willing to double that figure we can add to it the same supplies for my friend Ignis; but she is outside scouting now."
Master Thorn's eyes widen.
"So you now want me to give you 200 gold pieces of stuff for only 50 gold pieces now and the rest when you return?" he says.
"Well, normally I would not be so generous, but Ravia and Meshidawg have helped me in the past. I suppose I won't protest... Unless, wait - will you be needing the same for your friend the healer, too?" he grumbles.
"Very well; but you owe me money when you get back," he says with a frustrated voice and reaches to scoop up the gold coins.
Pratap reaches out and sternly places a paw on the coins.
"What? Still not enough? How much do you want now?" he asks, throwing up his hands.
"Oh - wait; you probably want a potion, too, right? Fine! I suppose I can add in one healing potion; but that takes the total up to 350 gold - you paying 50 now means you owe me 300 when you get back."
Pratap looks at Meshidawg to see if the barbarian is satisfied with that arrangement.
Meshidawg; was there anything else you'd like at this time?

Ayaan doesn't check even if I remind him to
Ravia |
"Ravia, I think we should actually start moving, we have been waiting for pretty long." Meshidawg hollers, wondering where Ravia is.
Ravia appears and looks at Meshidawg.
"My apologies, I was just checking to see if anyone else wants to come. As they do not seem interested now, I left them a note to indicate where we'd be journeying in case they want to catch up," she adds.
NOTE: If anyone wants to come, too, go ahead and let me know - we can have you jump in if you're interested.
At this point she brings out the horses and saddles them and includes the kit she packed as well.
She pauses to call out to Ignis.
"We're ready to go; tell us what you've seen and which direction seems best to you and we'll head that way," she says as she sits astride her horse, Patrap also sitting on the horse, albeit in her lap.
She pets him behind his ears and he purrs impressively...
Straight north; north-west or north-east - what's our direction? As soon as I know that, I'll have something more up :)
Dain GM |
"Ignis, do you want to go to the north-east, I feel like that will be the best direction," Meshidawg says
"The north east will eventually take us to the coast; but the ruins might border the coast, too... Perhaps we shall find out more when we get there," Ravia answers.
"For now I suppose we shall find out," she adds.
At this point Ravia is going to urge her horse forward due north. She assumes that when you and Ignis decide then all she has to do is turn her course either right or left when she knows more.
Ignis Fotia |
Ayaan you can come, but you are paying for your own supplies.
Ignis rushes in, her cheeks flushed."Actually, we should head due north. That is the way to the ruins. We will have to go through a forest, though."
Ignis sees Master Thorn."Can we get 150 gold worth of potions? We'll pay you back, I swear."

"Oh fine, I suppose I can lend you the money - being that you did manage to save the tavern from those soldiers... barely," he says with a small grumble.
Mana Potions are 100 GP - they heal 6 Mana and Healing Potions are 50 GP they heal 5 Health.
Let me know how many you'd like at this time...

"One mana and one health please," Ignis says with a slight smile.
Master Thorn |
Ignis stops suddenly. "Don't wait! I'll catch up!"she tells her companions. She rides back to Master Thorn and gives him the other 250 gold she and Ravia found,"Now we only owe you 150,"she says.
"Hmph... well, better than nothing..." he mutters and then slides you a large bag.
You find not only One Mana Potion but two Healing Potions (apparently he gave you an extra one for free), but you also find a sleeping bag so if you're in the wild and need to sleep you have something more comfortable to rest on the ground in.
Apparently Master Thorn is more impressed with your good manners then he let on...
Master Thorn |
Master Thorn looks up at the door and sees new people enter.
"Hello there! I guess you want to have some snacks," he says with a tired voice, as if the idea of passing out snacks was somehow exhausting and for some reason.
"Actually, something tells me you two probably won't actually want the snacks... which means I'll just have to go through all the trouble of getting them out for nothing..." he grumbles.
Then he pulls out some hot tea and cold cider and a plate with diced cheese, apple slices, hot bread and butter, and some cold chicken.
"Now - how can I help you two?" he asks both Azari and Dragonal.

guys you should get him some seafood to earn his trust. he likes seafood. and also ask him about his sword he will be delighted it's called telcontar which means'strider'. His father gave it to him. that will make him happy you want to earn his trust.
Geez, spoilers much??? That's supposed to come out via In-Game RP... ;)
Also, everyone who knows anything about basic High Elven already knows that Telcontar means Strider - sheesh :)
Cede |
Hey guys, I finally caught up with you guys. I was packing my stuff and you left without me . Well I guess that's fine because I do take a little time to pack so I saw you guys fighting out there against the legionaries and I was wondering if you guys needed to be healed.
Lance Antares |
You probably didn't see my eagle back at the tavern because he was on top of it
"I saw your eagle when I came in; but I've seen many strange things, including sea monsters and under water cities and haunted islands and pirates... A giant eagle is fairly interesting, though..." Lance says to Cede.
Lance Antares |
"Hello, nice to meet you..."
Lance nods his head.
"Nice to meet you, too, lad," he says as the Aquan creature watches you both but says nothing
"I'm surprised you didn't go off with the Barbarian and the Fire Wizard; they both seem to be fairly powerful, just the sort mission I assumed you'd enjoy," he adds.
"Of course, if you'd like to sail with me, I'm excited to have you on board... Assuming you can handle the rigors of the high seas, that is," he adds with a salty grin.
Lance Antares |
When do we leave?
Lance shrugs.
"We can leave now, if you like," he says, then gestures to the door.
Outside, you, he and the Aquan creature see a ship floating in the harbor.
"Welcome to The Sunchaser," he says with a wide sweep of his arm.
"Get you and whoever else wish to come and let's get aboard," he adds.
Those of you who wish to get on board are free to search the ship. I'll have a full map of it for anyone who would like; for now I only have the map of the Main Deck as that's all you're looking at.
