Helloo, aimalover - just so you know, if you click on your own name where it says "Edit Profile" then click that button, you can make additions to your Alias.
The changes are meant to be about your character, not you personally.
Where it says "real name" you can put your real first name so we know who you are, but you don't have to. Also, you can change your Alias name to be the name of your character, but you can't change the name of more than 10 posts - after that, the name just can't be changed.
So if you're playing an Explorer and you decide to call yourself - "Éowyn" (that means "Horse Lover" in the language of the Riders of Rohan from Lord of the Rings; and it is also a girl's name) then you can make that the name of your Alias, but you don't have to.
When it says stuff like "Occupation" you can write something like "Explorer/Universal Healer" - and then under Level you can write "2/2" (for a total of 4), if you want.
Where it says "race" that generally means things like - "are you a Human, an Elf, a Dwarf, a Hobbit..." - so we know who you are :)
Meanwhile, the Alias "Master Thorn" is a actually a Water Wizard/Barbarian that helped the Heroes during a game before you met them (he is also played by me, but I made him so he can "talk" to you guys).

Oh, if you make a post on the "Gameplay" page you can read what the last thing the Heroes did before you joined them and write what you'd do if your character showed up to meet them.

If you go to the "Gameplay" section you'll see that the Water Elf has returned after you defeated the mansion and is asking you some questions.

Meanwhile, you may notice that some of the people you meet will have posts in which the letters look like this
The light blue is done with URL coding; in the game, it's called "OOC" - which means - "Out Of Character" comment. It's when one player is talking to another player; not as the amazing Hero they are in the game, but instead as a regular person just talking to a friend.
That said, here's hoping we get some more posts up soon.
You guys can either go back to get supplies, or go to the caves right away, just let me know :)
Hello Ashley, Ayaan and Lorenzo! I'm glad to see you all and I'm really eager for the next part of the adventure.
I'll have adjustments for your characters up soon based on the levels you asked for soon; so don't worry on that account.
So far it's just you three; of course, if we don't have many more players join up besides you guys, I guess that means you'll be the only ones earning all the rewards :)

I'll be converting the sheets for Heroes and levels and putting them on the Google Page soon.
I'll also be putting up newly modified sheets for our heroes which include Skills.
So far we have some skills which are listed here (descriptions are already made, but we'll have more soon):

I also think we should add "Trap Master" - which would let us both build and disarm traps and "First Aid" which would let Heroes try to at least heal a fallen Hero even if they don't have magic or healing potions. First Aid wouldn't heal MUCH but it would be enough to stop the Hero from being unconscious.
What other skills do you guys think I should add?
Possibly Animal Tamer to befriend wild pets instead of Bargaining?
I thought Building for making repairs on walls, and making things like Bombs, Poisons, Potions or Weapons? Does that sound good? I think that might be too Over Powered for one skill; like, maybe we should have a skill for Building Weapons and Armor, and one for Building Potions?
Finally, I'm working on doing the link to the "Online Map" which should be up (hopefully) by the end of the weekend. Basically you'll click the link and then you'll see the map and where your characters are (I hope). For our characters, I plan on using a pic of your Avatar; but if you guys have a better pic you'd like me to use, include it in your Profile.
Finally, I'll have more notes on how to make your profiles better, and update your level bonuses soon.
Right now both Ashley and Lorenzo are going to be level 6 (Ashley you did a lot of great work during the summer; hence your level boost) and Ayaan is level 9.
When you see the list of Jobs, just let me know how many levels you want to be of each. Also, I'll have to have lists of new "Tricks" for Ninja, Tinker, Healer and Wizard (Explorer might have their own tricks, but an Explorer automatically can pick a Trick from any Job if they're high enough level).
Okay - that's all for now; I'm going to have lunch with my mom for her birthday and then go to work, so it may be a bit before I can write the updates, but I hope soon.
One more thing: Ayaan, you have many bonuses from spending gold before that will be replaced by your Level. But don't worry, you can use your Gold to BUY magical items to make up for the bonuses you paid for before, so no worries! Plus, if you guys are the only guys to go after treasure, then you'll get more money for Treasure!
Also, don't just say something like - "Okay!" - try to come up with some really fun ideas. Remember; the more ideas you come up with then the more stuff we can add and the more cool/fun the game will be!
Also, Mister Joe does reward people for writing. The more you write, the more bonuses you will get :)

Good times. So, when you see the way the sheet adjustment came out, you'll be able to (if you'd like) rethink your character build a bit. For example, you may want to go up to 4th level Explorer OR Healer, but - honestly - I think I may also give you a level bump; but that's mainly because you deserve so props for your work on this site, too :)
More on that to come soon, though. I hope to get some big work with it done by the end of the weekend.

On the plus side; you're in the Half-Orc Tunnels now; you're slowly going through the first level, but - naturally - you don't know now deep the caves are, or how many levels there are.
Only time will tell; but hopefully I'll have a battle map up by the end of the week!
Also - Brozo and Animalover - new spells finished; we have literally 60 spells for Healers AND 60 spells for Wizards; plus Tricks for all Types.

The company had prepared to enter the caves, but for now they were waiting until the full group assembled.
Heroes far and wide were coming to the quest; for it was clear this was not a mission for a small company - it might take much more to defeat the threats in the caves below!
Even now Half-Orcs had been seen in the magical crystal in their dark caverns below the ground. Soon they would dig more tunnels and push into the lands above and try to conquer the people living there.
Would they succeed in their plans to take over the world, or would the Heroes be able to stop them?

Then they're to go to a sea-side town to try to buy goods.
Also, rumor has it that Ben is supposed to meet someone called "Elise McCraken" - or it might be "Denise daKraken" - or SOMETHING that might sound like that, but we have no idea; but whatever happens, I'm sure it will be completely safe and not at all a creature with more than 150 health and doing an average of 1d20+20 to hit and 6d6 points of smash damage - like; I'm 99.999% sure.

Never mind; I think you were editing.
If you go to the bottom of the page it will have a link that says
- How to format your text [show]
If you click the box that says [show] it will open a window that shows you how to do all sorts of things; including Bolding and also how to put in Spoilers and also links to pictures.
Meanwhile, you can delete a post if you make a mistake, but if it goes more than one hour you can't edit or delete that post, it's permanent, so be careful about your posts as they can't be edited or fixed after an hour.
Why do I use Bold when doing Dialogue/Speaking and Blue for posts when I ask questions but it's not story?
This is a thing most people do on the site who are older. When you get older and have things like Phones you can literally play the game on your Phone - but, of course, the text is small and not as easy to read when it's on a computer.
When you see something in Bold or Blue you can tell right away if it's something a Character is saying (bold) or if it's something the player is saying or asking about (blue) and you'll have an easier time knowing if the "Character" is saying things instead of the player.
What's the difference between "Player" and "Character"
Well, of course "Dain GM" is me the Player you know from school.
But let's say you meet an Orc and talk to him and the orc is like - "You are all doomed, I shall destroy you all!" - that is not something that I the Player am saying; I think you guys are great and I don't want anyone doomed; I want everyone to have fun - but the orc is a "Character" he's a bad guy, so when you see it in Bold you'll know that I'm not trying to bring you doom; but instead, you'll know the Orc is.
When can we start seeing the new rules updated so we can all get a copy??? Like - seriously??
Soon enough; I'm working on that now. Hopefully we'll have digital copies on the Classroom next week with a lot of updates AND I can print a Hard Copy.
The characters on the Combat Map look like the ones on the Paizo site. I like my Paizo Picture, but can we start having ones that look like our LEGO pics?

Whoops - sorry; that was just me being silly. I think that next week I'm in Room 2 - I will bring in my camera and we can start taking pics of our characters and then I can upload the pics to an image so we can use pics of our LEGO character to be on our Character Sheets (if you want them there) as well as on the combat map.
