I am heading on vacation through Thanksgiving weekend. My posting for the next week may be highly sporadic.

I have not logged into the site for over a week, and I don't think its fair to the group. I may or may not ask to come back, but I do know that right now I should not be here, and it is better if I am replaced.

The same messages is going to my other pbp groups also.

Why haven't you logged on? Frankly replacing someone can be a bigger fuss than re-integrating someone who is already there and we haven't done that much the past week, so if this a fluke due to rl issues I have no problem with you getting back on board but if this is something you tend to do allot then maybe it's for the best.

Also letting the group know whats up, no details necessary, is a huge plus in the pbp format.

This AP is balanced for 4 PCs, so I'm actually adding stuff to balance it for 6 and I have no plan on re-recruiting unless we dip below 4.

So in short Garish, if this just ends up being a hiatus, there will be spot for you when you return.

I'd like to suggest that the group buys a wand of cure light wounds since we're apparantly down a cleric. It's on my spell list so I can take it next level but I'd rather not have to if it can be mostly covered with wands. Also, I plan on maxing use magic device (and am wondering if the pathfinder savant might be a good prestige class for Elvar) so if we can suply the wands as a group then Elvar and Parnel should be able to handle most of the healing issues that we might face.

We can certainly try that; Harold will be able to use the wands, too.

We just need to acquire enough loot to actually *fund* such purchases.

You can check the bottom spoiler of my character sheet in my profile for what loot we've got atm. I'm fairly certain it will be enough to cover for at least one wand of cure light wounds. Or if DM Fanguar is feeling generous we might purchace a partially charged one for less than the full 750 gp.

Theoretically true, but we probably want to actually *keep* a few of those items - having Goggles of Minute Seeing on the person doing the trap disabling, for example, kind of makes sense ;-)

Actually I'm only inclined to sell the elven bracers and the statuettes from what we have but we're not through this dungeon yet so I'm hopefull that we'll gain more stuff. I have a feeling we're at most half-way through.

Wand of Cure light is good for me. It will be a few levels before I'm combat ready anyway, as Hector is my combat weapon.

I have no problem with you guys buying partially charged wands CLW. Personally, in combat healing is almost always a waste of an action. You guys should get along fine with just wands.

Wands of infernal healing are probably more efficient at this level.

While I don't have it memorized at the moment, I do have infernal healing in my spellbook and can prepare a couple next time we rest.

I may have a slower posting rate in the next few days, first because of the Xmas holidays but also because my wife is expecting our third child and the due date is within the next two weeks. Please bear with me.

Yep but I'm so low on HP that it will be able to catch me next round if it can swim. Plus I'm not sure I can fully retreat without AoO while swimming.

Hey guys. A heads up from me here.

I'll be moving this summer, end of July most probably, so my internet might get hectic during that time but bigger news; I just got accepted into Reykjavik University where I'll be studying for a BSc in Computer Science for the next three years, starting august 19th. I don't know how that will impact my schedule or my ability to play play-by-post, time will have to tell.

Computer Science is a good field, it is what I have my degree in.

Do you know what your going to focus on? Networking, web development, embedded programming?

Game Development primarily with AI secondary most likely but I don't have to choose till my second year I believe.

I took a dual concentration in networking and embedded programming.

You should spend the first year just studying the basics and figuring out what you are comfortable with. AI development is something I could never get a handle on. I disliked Functional programming languages and the math behind them.
