So if I understand the situation, Galstak is prone still and has not moved, but now the Flind is also prone. Is that right?
Because I'm out of options I was going to use a scroll of Communal Mount to summon 6 light horses around/in front of the Flind just to create a sort of meat-wall in front of Galstak.
The spell description says "The steed(s) serves willingly and well." but they aren't combat trained so I can't order them to attack or anything, but I *might* be able to order them to "stay" at least long enough to protect Galstak for a round.
What do you think? Spectrum's a pretty smart guy. Does he think this has a chance of working?
If no, I guess I'll use my Bonded Item (since It was retconned that I didn't use it for the third Stone Call, as I was being threatened) to cast Hypnotic Pattern on the Flind (targeting only him in the area)

Prone movement reduces your base movement to 5 feet, and Withdraw allows up to a double move, meaning that while prone you can Withdraw up to 10 feet, and the 5 five feet (the space you start in) you are not counted as Threatened.
Alas I believe that since this particular Flind is Large at this time, its reach is 10', so I would be threatened on the second 5' of withdraw.

He isn't large on the map.
Sorry I interpreted the following to mean that he/it imbibed an enlarge potion.
The chieftain snarls and raises his giant Axe in the air letting out a rallying cry he then walks along with the others and pulls out a potion from a pouch on his side and quaffs it. Suddenly the already huge gnoll looks even more burly.
Bad assumption on my part. But he/it has been kicking my a$$ real bad so i assumed it was double the size to a Large creature.

Wareagle is really a machine. There is no other explanation.

What does everyone think of offering most of the trade goods and surplus weapons, armor, etc. and maybe a bit of the coin to the villagers? Assuming they can finish the rest of the trip to the main town, they could sell the goods and use that as a small stake to either settle new land or return and rebuild once the trouble is over. I'm assuming that would help us build a positive reputation in the region and be a start towards building a local support base should we need it later on in the campaign. Not sure if reputation will be relevant later on, but really, who wants to wrestle all of that stuff over snow and ice covered mountain roads?

Sounds good to me.

There will be many nights till you reach the Valley and would work best if the party could make a Watch shift cicle that you use each night.
Well, we've got Culvrk for most of the night, and he has darkvision and a good perception/stealth score, so he's just about perfect.
I propose that we always have a second person on watch. We'll assume an 8 hour night and do it like this-
hours 1-2
Culvrk, Askum
hours 3-4
Culvrk, Tok
hours 5-6
Culvrk, Khalil
hours 7-8
Kaiden, Galstak
I've left the primary casters out of the rotation since in a late night ambush we're all but useless. Lower wisdom/no perception, and the fact that we'll probably not have many spells left means we're crappy on watch.
Tactics wise, I think Culvrk should hide wherever he's posting watch so anything watching us in the night will think we only have one sentry.
Any thoughts?

Tok's a cleric. That means armor and a high wis/perception score. That trumps the usual caster weaknesses.
revised watch rotation-
hours 1-2
Kaiden, Askum
hours 3-4
Culvrk, Tok
hours 5-6
Culvrk, Khalil
hours 7-8
Curvlk, Galstak

Stick me on the 7-8 watch. Granted, that'll give us three people on that watch, but it should enable me to prepare my spells as the sun comes up. Also, while Tok is a cleric, I don't think she's wearing any armor to speak of, whereas I'm one of the most heavily armored people in the party.
Luminarion |
Don't you need 8 full hours of rest before preparing?
Unless things got changed radically somewhere I haven't found it's arcane casters that need to have their beauty sleep. For divine casters it's nice but not necessary.
A divine spellcaster chooses and prepares spells ahead of time, but unlike a wizard, does not require a period of rest to prepare spells.
Also, at least under the previously existing fluff, Elves really didn't need to sleep. The GM here has changed that, probably because that never officially made its way into Paizo's fluff for elves. But unless the GM rules otherwise there shouldn't be any problem with Luminarion getting only 6 hours' worth of sleep a night. Or at least no more problems than for any other character getting only 6 hours' sleep a night.

I'm convinced. Let's put Lu in place of Tok.
hours 1-2
Kaiden, Askum
hours 3-4
Culvrk, Luminarion
hours 5-6
Culvrk, Khalil
hours 7-8
Curvlk, Galstak
That leaves Tok on backup duty for when one or more folks are out of commission.
Morphet and Spectrum require 8 hours of rest to regain spells, so unless things are really dire we probably shouldn't include them in the rotation.
If we ever need extra eyes, Spectrum's psudodragons could be put on watch for a while. They have excellent Stealth and Perception scores.
