(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

(edit)Pip, when Elgan's lightning went off, you saw the humanoid form, at f4-it backed up ten feet from where stiggy thought it was.
Do you want to move up next to Stiggy?

Gittik, Riese, and Altai left; as well as Pip...

veeeery busy at work today...

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Pip, with half his move, can make it up next to Stiggy at I3 where the skeleton falls....do you want to cruise up past Stig? You don't see anything but fog and big bones that just fell inanimate.

Pip will run up to Stig, but stick by the burly dwarf. If he sees no mystery man he will just sling another skelli.

1d20+13=17, 1d4+2=3

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

oh, see edit above...sorry; I forgot about the lightning effect.
You have a positional idea of where the mystery 'noid is.

Is it possible to fire my Dispel Magic at the lurker Noid?

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

soitinly!!!

Nyuk nyuk nyuk

Taking a gamble that the mystery skulker might be the dread Sakatha, Pip fires off his big spell

Dispel Magic target info:

Spoiler:
Targeted Dispel:
One object, creature, or spell is the target of the dispel magic spell. You make a dispel check (1d20 + your caster level, maximum +10) against the spell or against each ongoing spell currently in effect on the object or creature. The DC for this dispel check is 11 + the spell’s caster level. If you succeed on a particular check, that spell is dispelled; if you fail, that spell remains in effect.

If you target an object or creature that is the effect of an ongoing spell (such as a monster summoned by monster summoning), you make a dispel check to end the spell that conjured the object or creature.

If the object that you target is a magic item, you make a dispel check against the item’s caster level. If you succeed, all the item’s magical properties are suppressed for 1d4 rounds, after which the item recovers on its own. A suppressed item becomes nonmagical for the duration of the effect. An interdimensional interface (such as a bag of holding) is temporarily closed. A magic item’s physical properties are unchanged: A suppressed magic sword is still a sword (a masterwork sword, in fact). Artifacts and deities are unaffected by mortal magic such as this.

Pip strums Lucille

And I'm singing ...
Bye bye all the buffs that you try
Tried to whip up several haste spells
But your magic ran dry
Them Regulators guzzling Whiskey and Rye
Singing this'll be the day that you die
This'll be the day that you die ....

Tell me how many caster checks I should make (if any)

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Go ahead and make 5 caster checks; I'm not saying that five is the number necessarily....it's just in the spirit of all this mysterious crap that's going on.

You gottit boss

1d20+6=7, 1d20+6=16, 1d20+6=26, 1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=16

EDIT: I am actually +7, just add one to the pot plz

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

You don't know exactly what happened; you just hear, "what the.....YOU BASTARD!!!!!" in a screechy old woman's voice...

Gittik; Riese; and Altai left this round.

(Male Human Barbarian1/Cleric10)

Oso chuckles to himself at the swearing from the woman. "Doan dis der halfling. Ma main man comes through again."

(M Halfling Barbarian 10)

Rage on! And I'll give her a love bite too.

RH scimitar 1: nat 1! RH scimitar 2: 15 + 7 = 22, damage = 3 + 6 = 9. LH kukri 1: 15 + 12 = 27, damage = 2 + 3 + 6 = 11 (inc. 6 electricity). LH kukri 2 = another nat 1! Bite = 16 + 12 = 28, damage = 3 + 5 = 8.

"GAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Gittik savages the hag, but she just won't fall....
many of his blows and bites draw blood.

Riese up! Then Altai...

(Male Wild Elf Druid 14(Shifter version, PHBII))

Elgan-Hawk smiles a predatory grin as the giant skelly topples like a petrified tree. When the unseen witch begins cursing due to the effects of Pip's auditory magic, his shifty-hawk grin becomes downright disturbing.

LUV the tunes Pip-miester! Keep 'em coming! :)

(Male Human Paragon 3 /Evoker 6 (abjuration&enchantment barred) ---37,300XP)

3d6=12 Fiery burst on the hag. Taking care to avoid hitting any companions.
"Boom!"

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Riese's fiery burst doesn't seem to affect the hag....

Altai runs to g3, and fires two scorching rays...you hear him cry out, "sea haaaag!"

Then there's another fireball that pops off; Stiggy, Oso, Pip, and Altai are in the burst.....23 h.p. dmg; d.c. 15 reflex save for half.

Gittik's opponent manages to claw and bite him once each; 24 h.p. in damage to the berserk harfoot.

At k6, a green hag flickers into site as her claws rip at his face and neck....Beldan takes 23 h.p. in damage.
She responds to Altai's cry...."It's not the hags you see, boy...it's the hags you DON'T see! Ahihihihihiiii!"

ROUND 3!!!!! Everybody's attack...

Pip looks to blind a few hagithas

Popping a Glitterdust, trying to get as many hags as possible ..not bothering with skellis

Strums Lucille

Blind, blind you will be
For there are no more blind
Than those who will not see ..

Rmember you all still have +1 atk&dam thru rd 5

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

You can hit the lone seahag, or the greenhag; if you hit the greenhag AND the other one Gittik is fighting, you'll hit Gittik and Beldan...
It's a "10 foot radius" thing.

I'll hit the greenhag

Heathy:

Spoiler:
Hey man, would you do me a favor and do a guest appearance on the Club Calistria thread? We need a 'Lord of the Boards' to help us with an Improv RP we are doing, I'd appreciate it! :)

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

She doesn't seem to be blind, but she doesn't look as good as Shirley Eaton in Goldfinger either, covered as she is with scintillating gold dust...

Spoiler:
yeah; I'll check it out, maybe in a couple hours.

Spoiler:

There’s a green hag messing up Beldan within 5 foot step range from you at K6. If you 5 foot step to J5 you can full attack her and you’ll be flanking with Bel.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Stigwold Mæch'Hæmmær wrote:

The "sea hag" of which Altai spake is 10 feet ahead of you;

the "green hag" that is covered in glitterdust can be seen through the mist; a five foot step gets you within striking distance.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Which is what Beldan just said...

(Male Wild Elf Druid 14(Shifter version, PHBII))

Elgan flaps about frantically trying to spot the reason for Beldan's screaming. When the Glitterdust goes off, it's tell-tale glow leaves enough residue on the hag for the Druid-Hawk to see her through the mist. And that's all he needs. Another roll of thunder peals as the lightning bolt pummels the glowing hagette.

Lightning dmg: 3d10+1=19

5 foot step

<Stig whales on Beldan's dance partner. Almost removing his own toe in the process.>

Att 1: 1d20+6=23, 1d10+21=26,
Att 2: 1d20+1=3, 1d10+21=31

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Lightningbolt...

She's got a....heh heh....
she's got a bride of frankenstein hairdo now.
There you go, Altai....just kidding.

She gets blasted by the lightningbolt; she's still up but she's smoking out of her orifices.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

"Hahahahahaaa! I'll eat your liver, dwarf! I'll eat your spleen! Not you, pretty young thing...(to Beldan) I've other plans for y"
Stiggy puts an axe in her thoracic cavity and she shuts up.
She's still up, but the comic price guide wouldn't call her near mint, or even very fine.

I know it's academic but....the first swing hit; the second swing he pitched the axe back and smacked hisself in the top of the helmet with the back of the axehead.

(Male Human Rogue 14)

“Argh! That hurt you nasty biatch!”

<lightning bolt> “Ha, suck on that!”

<axe swing> “And that!”

(Male Human Rogue 14)

Which of the two bags next to Beldan look closer to their last legs? If I can tell.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

The green hag is closer, but not by much...

(Male Human Rogue 14)

“And this!” Beldan thrusts his rapier into the green old lady’s vitals. “Is that what you had in mind?”

19+6+2 (flanking) +1 (? Bardic music) = 28. Crit confirm: 16+6+2+1 = 25.
Damage: 5+1+1 = 7. Crit damage: 3+1+1 = 5. Sneak Attack damage for flanking: 17.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

There's a look of surprise, and of sadness; and then of deranged mirth, as she falls gibbering and cackling, and is still...

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Gittik, Riese, Altai, and Oso up to bat.....

<Stig shouts back at Gittik.>

"Dammit jist chew 'er feckin' throot it loch ye di' wi' th' giant."

(Male Human Barbarian1/Cleric10)

Oso stumbles forward to the sounds of fighting and attacks the other hag with gusto.

Attack roll 15+6+1=22, Damage 9+3+1=13pts, got 70% on my miss chance if necessary.

"Kelanen preserve us!"

(M Halfling Barbarian 10)

Hey - nice rolls!

RH Scimitar 1 = nat 20! Crit confirm = 18 + 12 = 30. Damage = 4 + 4 + 12 = 20!
RH Scimitar 2 = nat 20! Crit confirm = 8 + 7 = 15 = unlikely. Damage = 2 + 6 = 8, or 15 on a crit.
LH kukri 1 = Nat 20! Crit confirm = 4 + 12 = 16 = probably also unlikely. Damage = 1 + 3 + 3 = 7 (inc. 3 electricity) or 13 (inc. 3 electricity) on a crit.
LH kukri 2 = 2 + 7 = miss.
Bite = 4 + 12 = 16 = likely miss. Damage (on the off-chance) is 2 + 4 = 6.

"BLEAAAAARRRGHHHH!"

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

The cleric rushes forward, and staves in the seahag's skull; she drops.

He sees Altai sitting there on the ground, staring off into space, repeating...."....ugly.....so...damn....ugly...." over and over again.

The put upon hobbit lops the head off his foe with the first blow, and lands about seven more before he realizes the battle is ended...

end of combat. 1,700 exp each.

The mist, the rain; they end; the room is as it was before, except for the addition of 3 dead hags and a few piles of hill giant bones.

Again, there's a door out toward the south.

(M Halfling Barbarian 10)

"Hey, you steal my kill! You better heal me now...!"

<brandishes weapons indignantly>

"I'm hurt too..."
Altai took 25 h.p. in damage

The mage is burnt majorly from two fireballs....the narsty purple feathers are gone at least.

Pip strums Lucille over feral hobbit

Pip the bard sang them away ..

CMW 2d8+7=11

Yah I'm stretching the rhymes ...

Also, Pip is rapidly running out of spell juju, so will soon be a singing slinger in the background ....

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Hag head:
"what about me? I'm the most hurt of all of ya!
I'll swaller yer soul! Swaller yer soul!"

(Male Wild Elf Druid 14(Shifter version, PHBII))

Elgan-Hawk circles the room a couple of times, just to make sure that the piles of giant bones don't get back up again. Then he lands and shimmers back into a woodelf.

"Nice wurk chere'. Be car'ful now. Dem scratches luuk nasty. Ah gots sumthin fer dem. Now hol' still, we don' wan' dem gettin' infected."

And the small elf happily begins tapping various people's wounds with the healing wand, closing up the worst of the hag scratches and giant-caused bruises.

Give everyone hurt a love tap with CLW wand. Maybe I should just use it up and buy/make a higher level one? since the only thing it can heal a 'large' wound on is a low-hp character?
