Pip, with half his move, can make it up next to Stiggy at I3 where the skeleton falls....do you want to cruise up past Stig? You don't see anything but fog and big bones that just fell inanimate.
Pip will run up to Stig, but stick by the burly dwarf. If he sees no mystery man he will just sling another skelli.

Nyuk nyuk nyuk
Taking a gamble that the mystery skulker might be the dread Sakatha, Pip fires off his big spell
Dispel Magic target info:
One object, creature, or spell is the target of the dispel magic spell. You make a dispel check (1d20 + your caster level, maximum +10) against the spell or against each ongoing spell currently in effect on the object or creature. The DC for this dispel check is 11 + the spell’s caster level. If you succeed on a particular check, that spell is dispelled; if you fail, that spell remains in effect.
If you target an object or creature that is the effect of an ongoing spell (such as a monster summoned by monster summoning), you make a dispel check to end the spell that conjured the object or creature.
If the object that you target is a magic item, you make a dispel check against the item’s caster level. If you succeed, all the item’s magical properties are suppressed for 1d4 rounds, after which the item recovers on its own. A suppressed item becomes nonmagical for the duration of the effect. An interdimensional interface (such as a bag of holding) is temporarily closed. A magic item’s physical properties are unchanged: A suppressed magic sword is still a sword (a masterwork sword, in fact). Artifacts and deities are unaffected by mortal magic such as this.
Pip strums Lucille
And I'm singing ...
Bye bye all the buffs that you try
Tried to whip up several haste spells
But your magic ran dry
Them Regulators guzzling Whiskey and Rye
Singing this'll be the day that you die
This'll be the day that you die ....
Tell me how many caster checks I should make (if any)
Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |
You gottit boss
1d20+6=7, 1d20+6=16, 1d20+6=26, 1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=16
EDIT: I am actually +7, just add one to the pot plz
Elgan Dreadwood |
Elgan-Hawk smiles a predatory grin as the giant skelly topples like a petrified tree. When the unseen witch begins cursing due to the effects of Pip's auditory magic, his shifty-hawk grin becomes downright disturbing.
LUV the tunes Pip-miester! Keep 'em coming! :)
Riese |
3d6=12 Fiery burst on the hag. Taking care to avoid hitting any companions.
"Boom!"
dungeonmaster heathy |
Riese's fiery burst doesn't seem to affect the hag....
Altai runs to g3, and fires two scorching rays...you hear him cry out, "sea haaaag!"
Then there's another fireball that pops off; Stiggy, Oso, Pip, and Altai are in the burst.....23 h.p. dmg; d.c. 15 reflex save for half.
Gittik's opponent manages to claw and bite him once each; 24 h.p. in damage to the berserk harfoot.
At k6, a green hag flickers into site as her claws rip at his face and neck....Beldan takes 23 h.p. in damage.
She responds to Altai's cry...."It's not the hags you see, boy...it's the hags you DON'T see! Ahihihihihiiii!"
ROUND 3!!!!! Everybody's attack...
Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |
Pip looks to blind a few hagithas
Popping a Glitterdust, trying to get as many hags as possible ..not bothering with skellis
Strums Lucille
Blind, blind you will be
For there are no more blind
Than those who will not see ..
Rmember you all still have +1 atk&dam thru rd 5

<I'll move in on whichever hag I can see, or have recently spotted. Who would that be?>
The "sea hag" of which Altai spake is 10 feet ahead of you;
the "green hag" that is covered in glitterdust can be seen through the mist; a five foot step gets you within striking distance.Elgan Dreadwood |
Elgan flaps about frantically trying to spot the reason for Beldan's screaming. When the Glitterdust goes off, it's tell-tale glow leaves enough residue on the hag for the Druid-Hawk to see her through the mist. And that's all he needs. Another roll of thunder peals as the lightning bolt pummels the glowing hagette.

5 foot step
<Stig whales on Beldan's dance partner. Almost removing his own toe in the process.>

"Hahahahahaaa! I'll eat your liver, dwarf! I'll eat your spleen! Not you, pretty young thing...(to Beldan) I've other plans for y"
Stiggy puts an axe in her thoracic cavity and she shuts up.
She's still up, but the comic price guide wouldn't call her near mint, or even very fine.
I know it's academic but....the first swing hit; the second swing he pitched the axe back and smacked hisself in the top of the helmet with the back of the axehead.

"Hey, me get hurt too! Deaf and Blind get hurt, him scream like little girl take up backhole first time, everyone run help him. Nice! Now me know where me stand. You no worry, me kill old bag by myself. Me no need help." <Grumble>
<Stig shouts back at Gittik.>
"Dammit jist chew 'er feckin' throot it loch ye di' wi' th' giant."

Hey - nice rolls!
RH Scimitar 1 = nat 20! Crit confirm = 18 + 12 = 30. Damage = 4 + 4 + 12 = 20!
RH Scimitar 2 = nat 20! Crit confirm = 8 + 7 = 15 = unlikely. Damage = 2 + 6 = 8, or 15 on a crit.
LH kukri 1 = Nat 20! Crit confirm = 4 + 12 = 16 = probably also unlikely. Damage = 1 + 3 + 3 = 7 (inc. 3 electricity) or 13 (inc. 3 electricity) on a crit.
LH kukri 2 = 2 + 7 = miss.
Bite = 4 + 12 = 16 = likely miss. Damage (on the off-chance) is 2 + 4 = 6.
"BLEAAAAARRRGHHHH!"

The cleric rushes forward, and staves in the seahag's skull; she drops.
He sees Altai sitting there on the ground, staring off into space, repeating...."....ugly.....so...damn....ugly...." over and over again.
The put upon hobbit lops the head off his foe with the first blow, and lands about seven more before he realizes the battle is ended...
end of combat. 1,700 exp each.
The mist, the rain; they end; the room is as it was before, except for the addition of 3 dead hags and a few piles of hill giant bones.
Again, there's a door out toward the south.
Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |
Pip strums Lucille over feral hobbit
Gittik Wittik puddin n' pie
Smacked the hags and made them cry
When his wounds were on display
Pip the bard sang them away ..
Yah I'm stretching the rhymes ...
Also, Pip is rapidly running out of spell juju, so will soon be a singing slinger in the background ....
Elgan Dreadwood |
Elgan-Hawk circles the room a couple of times, just to make sure that the piles of giant bones don't get back up again. Then he lands and shimmers back into a woodelf.
"Nice wurk chere'. Be car'ful now. Dem scratches luuk nasty. Ah gots sumthin fer dem. Now hol' still, we don' wan' dem gettin' infected."
And the small elf happily begins tapping various people's wounds with the healing wand, closing up the worst of the hag scratches and giant-caused bruises.
Give everyone hurt a love tap with CLW wand. Maybe I should just use it up and buy/make a higher level one? since the only thing it can heal a 'large' wound on is a low-hp character?
