Beldan's able to make it up there okay. It's black as night, except for an arched mote of light at the foot of the door.
Bird dander still floats around in the lit portion of the room.
I gotta bail; I'll see you guys tomorrow prolly as this will be a long mission I'm on.
Elgan flies up and watches the entrance to the tree as the others climb up Beldan's rope.
His mini-thunderhead still rumbles ominously, and the druid-hawk urges the others to make what haste they can while he still has his spell running.,...
Meh...everybody's able to make it up, or we could be here for a fortnight doing climb rolls...
Same room as before; it's dark. You don't see anything...
There's a door at the south end of the room. Closed.
“I’ll check it out … someone cover me.” Beldan cautiously approaches the door, begins searching the area immediately before it, then the door itself, for traps. Search: 13+11 = 24
Altai Iscarni(Male Human Wizard 14 (Conjuration school))
"Looks like they cleaned out the corpses. Be prepared for more zombies once we go down into the tree."
He’ll listen at it Listen:14+1 = 15, test to see if it’s unlocked, pick the lock if necessary Open Lock: 15+18 = 33, then stand back and gesture for one of the warrior types to do the honours on opening it.
The door creaks audibly. It is indeed pouring rain in this room, the room where the mob of lizardmen were stationed.
The room is also filled with pea soup (no pun intended) fog; you can't see more than five feet into there...
Dimensions are as follows from prior memory:
a-L top, 1-13 side...
c1-h1 are usable,
b2-k2 are usable,
a3-a9 through L3-L9 usable,
b10-b11 through L10-L11 usable, and c12-c13 through k12-k13 usable.
The door in is on the north wall L3;
The door out was at the south wall c13.
You remember a firepit at f-g 7-8....
Again, visibility is hampered by fog, and there is a loud steady downpour.
oh, and sorry about the recent seeming lull; busy as hell, was out in Texas hell weather last night to pick up my mom from the airport; got to sleep at 1 a.m. I'm beat assed tired.

"Hey Riese, drop a few fiery blasts in there. They'll burn off the fog."

I find it highly improbable that a few quick blasts would serve to evaporate the fog to any large degree but I will certainly try....Riese will drop 5-6 bursts in the room in random spots.
ELgan-hawk flaps overhead as the Wizard begins dropping his fiery bombs throughout the room. As teh final explosions settle, he directs his small thunderhead to drift into the room and waits to see what (if anything) is revealed.
I just re-read my Call Lightning again. In an area of a storm or similar bad weather (Including a Djinni's Whirlwind) it increases the damage dice!
Well, Riese pops his first firebomb; you guys hear a screechy elderly woman's voice screech, "onwaaaaard!!!" And you hear something big, or I should say some THINGS big,....shambling towards you in the damn-unseeable fog.
Riese did that; I guess everybody state an action, even if it is to do nothing, and state whether you're coming into the fog room or staying in the other room.
Elgan's cloud blends into the rain and fog.
With the rain, my Call Lightning cloud is now 3d10 dmg! So I wait until my keen eyes pick out the first shadows of movement near the door, and let'em have it!

What now?
<Stig moves up to the front to meet whatever is coming.>

You hear them lumbering forward, and like that they're on top of you Stiggy. (Stig's at L3) There is a giant skeleton at jk-2 and 3, and at kL 4 and 5; you can hear one more behind the one at JK 2-3...
They have warclubs, and no guile. You easily spot them and get first go...full attack for everybody (even Riese) and then it's initiative.
Stiggy, Gittik, Riese, Elgan, Oso and Altai left to attack. I'll wait until end go for Altai; if anyone has an idea of what he'd like Altai to do, he can shout it out to him.
Elgan-hawk squawks at the appearance of the first blur to try appear in the fog and try to charge the door. In response a lightning bolt, much larger and louder than his usual, (perhaps it's echoing in the enclosed space?) crashes down onto it.
Oso points at the first skeleton to appear and using the innate power of his crown commands, "collapse."
Holy energy erupts from the priests head and hits the skull, pouring into his eye sockets.
Crown of the Grave, can use a one word command as per the spell, once per minute on one undead, it gets a Will Save DC20, due to burning a turn attempt this round.
