Dok gets over there. He doesn't find any trouble; there's 12 corpses lieing here and there.

There's three chests;

Beldan checks them and they're not trapped;

there's a good 150,000 g.p. worth of coin and gem and jewelry......baubles of all sorts.

Looking at all the treasure, Dok exhales "I got no way to move all this." Glancing at Altai, he inquires "You?"...

Claw kinda grunts.

Pip follows the others, shaking an occasional spider off his clothes

'Man I feel worse than after a bender on Hill Giant potato vodka" He grumbles, feeling around for some food. He finds a few tidbits from their last meal he stowed away and chews on soggy potstickers while following the party

"Hollee sheepdip! Lookitthat treasure!"

He rustles in his backpack and pulls out a deflated-looking bag with a runic edge sewn around its mouth

"I knew this bag would come in handy!" He chortles

Pip has a >Bag of Holding Type IV<

Dok starts shoveling treasure into the bag.

It all fits.......
Pip's got a brand new bag.

"Do we want to even know what's down that tunnel?...."

"I can take a peek m'lady!"

Pip leaves the treasure shoveling to the others and uses his cloak to scramble up the wall of the cave. He stealthys in, looking about

Stealth: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (14) + 31 = 45

Perception: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (7) + 27 = 34

Pip sees a tunnel that goes about 50 feet then turns right. He looks down there; hears a bevy of bats gikking at him above. Decides to stay on a "side wall" instead of ceiling.....When he turns the corner, he sees it takes a steep plunge, about 200 feet, and 120 feet down, before it turns left and out of sight.

All natural caverns.....not quarried.

Pip returns and gives the party the low down

"I expect I can scout the deep dip, but I'd like to have you guys with me in case we run into trouble."

He eyes the bulging sack of swag.

"Ahh, nothing like a barrel of lewt to make a day shine brighter!"

Far off, in the nether tunnels......you hear a hiss.

*PFFFFFFFFFFF!*

then silence.

"Was there more water? And,......was it icky?"

You didn't see any on the brief foray you made.

Although,....it did kinda look like there would be flow into there from the river during the spring thaw, when the river was really flowing.

She puts some diamond studded hairpins in her hair, and a ruby necklace on from the loot pile.

Altai gives the dead guys the once-over.

Humans? Others? Fresh or ripe? I'll also fire up a quick Detect magic

Nothing too extraordinary from a detect magic standpoint.
They're human mostly, young, male,......more mummified than fresh.
Rusalka bait, mainly.

The troll and.....part trolls kinda would've eaten their share of the prisoners.

One of them looks human, male, but is an albino.

He has odd looking armor, odd even for the characters from Wa; equivalent of brigantine; curved swords.....more scimitar than katana.

He's got magic gear, but it's +1 stuff. It's factored into the total wealth given above; stuff I doubt any of you guys would care to wield.

"Weird. Underearth human? Or White Kingdom ghoul? Interesting - and rather unsettling."

"Still, this stuff will look good in the trophy room."

Unliving eye sockets stare at the ceiling, betray no secrets.

"I doubt the rusalkas would've had a ghoul as a plaything. They're kinda unattractive."

Elgan looks like he agrees with Evindra about the condition of the water. But if she can stand it, so can he. ;P
