(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Looks like Elgan, Oso, Stiggy, and Beldan to roll to do stealthy stuff and try to get in on the ambush;
then it's initiative.

(Male Human Wizard 14 (Conjuration school))

Aren't Oso and Stig teleporting onto the skiff during the surprise round? Of course, we still have Beldan and Elgan to (possibly) go.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Right on.

(Male Human Wizard 14 (Conjuration school))

Oso is Large after casting Righteous might, so the only place he and Stig can fit in is at the prow of the boat - the G-I 15-16 area. Good news for the Vudran fellow, as they'll have to chew their way through all the cavemen to get to him.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Sweeeet.
I like cavemen.

(Male Human Barbarian1/Cleric10)

Once the fireball goes off, Oso teleports him and Stiggy onto the boat.

With a sound like the swish of a passing blade, the two characters are cut in two, folding and disappearing to reappear at the prow. Oso lets go of Stiggy and readies his sword to administer to the unfaithful.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

g-i 15-17 are open for the teleportees on the prow...

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

elgan; beldan; then it's initiative.

(Male Human Barbarian1/Cleric10)

Stiggy at G15, Oso next to him at HI/15-16

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Right on....the barge lurches, frontheavy from the girth of the dwarf....something big, though, ballasts the barge back arights; something big.....in the galley in back.....

welcome to my teeter totter!

(Male Human Rogue 14)

Beldan sneaks to C12 and goes for a sneak crossbow attack at E9.

Crossbow: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17 Damage: 1d8 + 5d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + (3, 4, 4, 1, 3) + 2 = 18

Doh!

Sorry, meeting with Canadian consul in Beijing. What Oso said.

Doh!

It's low, but it's enough; dude got fireballed, gacked in th' neck, and that's all he could manage; he plops down dead.

Elgan's up!

"Diz anyain hae a spaur weapon?"

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

They're American neanderthals, with stars'n'stripes bandanas, and t-shirts that say "these colors don't run boah!!!"
I'm dungeonmaster! I can say it and it is so!

Wasn’t Stig’s gear all in a pile below his sleep pod?

Did I fail a perception roll?

It was all neatly arranged by an ocd mindflayer who had to touch the corners of the stuff he folded and lick his finger and touch it again.

YAY! RETCON my post up-page... Stiggy's not in a loincloth anymore.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

owell....a big fat bastard with a belaying pin in a loinclout would've been cute.

Only when he's off duty.

(Male Human Barbarian1/Cleric10)

Stiggy should be able to act, he hasn't acted yet.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Yeah; wtf; Stig has a standard atk;

Elgan's up as well.....

I guess Pip'll pip off for a bit after this here combat; Pat said he has to drop off the radar for a while.

Are the guys at g & i 14 alive? I'll five foot step between them if so. So H14... Then I'll kill them.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Yes, they are both alive.

Dude at g14.
att 1: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
dam 1: 2d6 + 24 ⇒ (1, 3) + 24 = 28
att 2: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15
dam 2: 2d6 + 24 ⇒ (4, 3) + 24 = 31

Me fumble. Nice rolling eh?

Stig is swinging an earthbreaker by the way.

"Oaps"

Wait, that was a standard attack not a full attack so no fumble... unless you want the drama.

(Male Human Rogue 14)

Fumble with an earthbreaker. Could get messy.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Stigwold Mæch'Hæmmær wrote:

Naah....there's too much drama anymore. I'm like unto a god here, so I can smote it out.

No fumble. Dude @ g14 is broken; one smash to the front of his thorax puts him on the deck, out for the count.

Look at the dude in I14. He is a neanderthal.
Look at the dude in I14 again.
He has the head of a white tiger.
He is dressed in baroque oriental scale mail,
and wields a bastard sword and shield,
and his thumbs are connected to the ulnar side of the arm, instead of the radial side like every other humanoid but a rakshasa.

Elgan.....

(Male Human Wizard 14 (Conjuration school))

Um... That would be the dude in I14, right? After all, the guy in I16 is Oso. Also, for bookkeeping purposes, let's put Pip in A12.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Yeah. I14. Sorry.
Edited for correctness.

(Male Human Rogue 14)

Oso's a rakshasa! Get him!

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Mwahahahahaaaaa!!!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooo!!!

(Male Human Wizard 14 (Conjuration school))

Align weapon lasts one minute per level. Is Beldan's rapier still Good (i.e. has it been more than nine minutes since our last rakshasa fight? I assume it has, as it takes Stiggy 4 minutes just to put on his armour...)? If not, Stig and Oso do so much damage they might just plow through its DR.

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

yeah; it's tapped out by now.

Andoran (Male Human Expert 5)

Hmmm... Rags is out until the weekend. If Elgan casts Dispel magic on the Vudran, can he do so without dispelling the Glitterdust?

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

Vattnisse wrote:

If he "target dispels" a specified spell the Vudran has cast upon himself, then yes.

If he "area dispels," he essentially tries, with one roll, against all the spells cast on the Vudran, from highest level to lowest, until a spell is dispelled; the glitterdust spell would be "somewhere" in that line of spells.

Andoran (Male Human Expert 5)

OK. Just to keep the action flowing, how about this:

Elgan-wolf pads quietly into the sea cave before sitting down in a quiet corner, intently eyeing the glowing Vudran.

Move to B8 before readying a Dispel magic to counterspell anything the Vudran chap might try.

Oh, and our base group initiative is 12, spreading us out from 22 (Beldan) to 12 (Stig).

(I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!)

You guys won initiative...they're a little bit disorganized at the moment.

Andoran (Male Human Expert 5)

Our absentees:

Elgan remains crouched in animal form, closely observing the fight.

No move, holding a readied Dispel magic

Gittik dives at the glowing Vudran.

Gittik flies to G5 and attacks the Vudran with his adamantine shocking kukri (normally his LH knife; the adamantine is handy versus foes with pesky spells like Stoneskin). No rage yet. Attack roll 12+16+1(Haste)=AC 29, damage 1d3+7+1d6 electricity=9+5 electricity.

Pip steps forward before zapping some cavemen with lightning.

5' step to B11 before shooting the guys in G10 and I10 with the lightning thrower. 17 damage, Reflex 14 for half.

(Male Human Wizard 14 (Conjuration school))

Altai spends his turn casting his spell.

Oso, Beldan and Stig to go.

Altai Iscarni wrote:

Roger that. Just stepping out to lunch. When I get back.
