I have thought about this campaign and my application it. Though I love the idea of it, I don't think my character concept will work. Not being able to use equipment would be too steep a setback and if I used equipment it wouldn't really be a raven anymore.

Thus, I withdraw my application. I absolutely adore the idea of the campaign, but I don't think I can come up with a different, truly meaningful and fun character.

In the interest of compiling all submitted characters in one place, here's a list.

Character List:

Rysky: The Heartless Baron of Blackwake (Elemental/Antipaladin)
The Doomkitten: Doctor Who (Humanoid/Investigator)
Zach W.: Ameratsu of the Sun (Animal/Druid)
Seth86: Sher Khan (Animal/Rogue)
Professional Calvinball: Tree of Life (Elemental/Shaman)
Aestereal: Pandora, the Boxwatcher (Concept/Summoner)
That Other Guy: Vehemence, the Provoker (Concept/Skald)
Me'mori: Jairdan Wynne (Elemental/Paladin)
Mahorfeus: Kaguya-hime (Humanoid/Oracle)
Johnnycat: Macario the Mouse (Animal/Wizard)

If there are any submissions I missed, please let me know.

Thank you so much for compiling that! I'm also keeping a personal spreadsheet, and it seems to match up!

I'd like to mention that I don't seem to have received many applications for front-liner-type characters. Something to keep in mind.

It's hard to make effective melee machines without using Ultimate Combat. There's a combat focused Druid alongside a Paladin though, they'd fill out the frontlines rather well.

*phew*

Ish still here! Holidays were a lot more hectic than I was expecting.

I had you filed under "lady-killer"

yo, save it for the gameplay thred, ladykiller.

Silver Crusade

*shrugs* You're gonna come back either way.

Please remember that I noted I am a front-liner. I am a tank druid with the built that I have. A very self reliant tank.

Hello, I hope I'm no too late to join in the recruitment. I'm working on a Lizard Knight (Animal Kith Mutagen Warrior). Hopefully that can help flesh out some more Frontline needs!

This is GenThunderfist's submission, Silas the Red Scourge - The Salamander Knight!

Just wanted to put a reminder out for folks, do a bump, and let new folks know, this recruitment is open until January 15th as per what the GM said in the beginning. I know the GM has been extremely busy so thought I would put this out for folks.

Also, the list as posted by Pandora before but with links (thank you Pandora for the start point!):

Frontline:
Rysky: The Heartless Baron of Blackwake (Elemental/Antipaladin)
Zach W.: Ameratsu of the Sun (Animal/Druid)
Me'mori: Jairdan Wynne (Elemental/Paladin)
GenThunderfist: Silas the Red Scourge (Animal/Fighter)

Divine/Support:
Professional Calvinball: Tree of Life (Elemental/Shaman)
That Other Guy: Vehemence, the Provoker (Concept/Skald)
Mahorfeus: Kaguya-hime (Humanoid/Oracle)

Sneak/Skill:
The Doomkitten: Doctor Who (Humanoid/Investigator)
Seth86: Sher Khan (Animal/Rogue)

Thankies :3

Yes, recruitment goes until the 15th! I'm excited to run this campaign and currently have the majority of the general plot line sketched out.

I'm looking over characters right now. Unfortunately, as much I wanted to do full responses to people's submissions, I won't have the time to do so before recruitment closes. This is a very busy time of year for me (it'll be quiet next week!) and I'm excited to get the ball rolling!

For those thinking about their submission (or want to know what I'm looking about right now) what I'm looking for the most are players who are interested in actively participating in a campaign and driving the plot, as well as those that want to engage in narrative-focused roleplaying.

For characters, I'm looking for characters that are well-thought-out and resonant with their source material. What your character is missing should be compelling or otherwise integral to who they are. Fairy tale is really the name of the game, or mythology, or folk lore are really the sources that I'm looking for. Basically, make me care about your character in some way. Be compelling. Make it new.

I'm still happy to answer any questions!

Woooooot!

This is so exciting

Day of days.

Pandora doesn't mind if she's not picked. She's not curious about the campaign anyways...

Spoiler:
YES SHE IS!

Reminder, submissions close today!

I'll be at a convention this weekend and will announce character selections on Monday.

Here we go! I'm pretty hyped, how about all of you?

Hello,

Thank you all for your patience! My day was much busier than I expected and I wanted to have both the discussion thread and gameplay thread available before posting.

I am accepting the following party for the game:

Amertasu of the Sun
The Tree of Life
Vehemance, the Provoker
Sher Khan
Pandora, the Boxwatcher
Macario the Mouse.

I'm very sorry that I couldn't accept everyone; I am keeping everyone in mind in case there are additional opportunities for this campaign in the future. Please let me know if you would be interested. In addition, if you do not wish to participate in the campaign, please let me know soon so that I may accept alternative characters.

Fooie :3

Hope you guys have fun and best of luck to everyone in all their future games!

And yep, always interested.

Oh my god. I totally didn't think I'd make the cut. I'm freaking out.

Congrats to those who got in!

Love the concepts. Good luck, all!

I'd like to take a seat on the B-team, if you don't mind.

Alas, the Salamander Knight was not to be. It was fun making him though, thank you very much. I'll keep watch and see what developes
