Cast Aboleth's Lung on Vespula

The black cloud dissipated and Caleb - Vespula attached to his tentacled form like some sort of burrowing limpet - swish back and forth over the coral. Another few flicks and he whisked through the ship looking for new threats.

Action 2
"Any ideas about these wards, Tillia? It would be nice to simply repair them and let the bastards rot in the darkness."

Assuming there is a no, some time later
"I'm getting tired." Caleb announced abruptly "I suggest we heal up, prepare, take those protective potions and do this quickly. By all means check for traps, but treasure can wait. Once the area is cleared we can mop up at out leisure. I don't want to be caught down there without protection." Caleb looked deep into the darkness. Unblinking aquatic eyes kept to himself that it wasn't fear of the darkness that might keep him down there, but a strange calling. 'I am NOT making this my new home' he resolved.

Female Human Inquisitor(Infiltrator)/10

Action 1:

With the draugr threat neutralized, Noravia swims immediately over to Caleb.

swim: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Upon reaching him she pulls out her healing wand and tries to keep the worry out of her voice. "The undead didn't hurt you too badly, did it? Here, let me help. Is Ves ok?"

tag Caleb

Once Caleb was healed, Noravia swam over to Tillia and did the same for her with the healing wand.

Using the CLW wand on Caleb and Tillia

Action 2:

perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23

As Noravia was looking around the edge of the yawning pit, she noticed arcane markings carved into the destroyed coral. "Tillia, do you know what these markings represent? I assume they had something to do with the wards but they're not divine in nature."

tag Tillia

The inquisitor peeked over the edge of the chasm and shivered as the blackness seemed to seep into her. She suddenly felt very vulnerable and unsure but she had given her word to the elves that she would help or die trying. Milani had brought her to this precipice and Noravia trusted that she would give her what she needed.

Male Human Monk (unchained) 11

Bladed scarf? Interesting, but not very useful since it’s exotic… come next level, Eirik could perhaps get some use out of it, depending on my ability choices, but likely that’s gonna end up in the sellables pile sooner or later.

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20

Eirik stopped short as Noravia noticed the arcane runes carved into the coral. Once his attention was pointed to the fact, the monk himself could see the runes easily enough, though he wasn’t skilled in such arcane matters to make any guesses about their purpose. Perhaps this was the site of the ancient broken seal they had been told off… but for all he knew, it might just as well be a trap of much more recent manufacture, the aboleth’s spell to discourage intruders. Best they spent a few moments now making sure it would not strike them down before venturing forth.

Vandomir was checking the area out while the others considered the loot acquired from their opponents when Noravia mentioned the runes. "I am embarrassed to have missed those. As for their use, well, we all know that is not my department."

Action 1
It was with great relief that Tillia realized the last of the drauger were gone. The things had given her quite a scare and she was glad she survived what could have been a very unpleasant encounter. "I'm glad that's over with, you'd think that sooner or later things would quit trying to jump us like that."

Action 2
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Tillia missed the arcane symbols at first, it wasn't until they were pointed out to her that she noticed them and she promptly cast a spell so she could better examine any lingering auras. That they were abjurational in nature was something of a given, that they were broken was too. She just hoped that she could figure out how to deal with them and keep all that necromantic energy contained within. "This coral is definitely, or rather was, part of the ward. The destruction of the coral is what broke the ward." She considered the stuff and said, "I don't know that I can do too much unless the coral can be repaired. Now if there is a druid around who could re-grow the coral we might be in luck, beyond that I'm not sure we can do anything about it."

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23

Taking maybe a bit of a leap with the druid thing, but it makes sense to me.

"Not too bad. I should've been, but I did something beforehand that seemed to shore up the damage somehow." he looks over at the clinging wasp "She's... angry. Sullen. That's it I think. I suspect I'll get a lecture on acting stupidly when we get back - but when I saw you fall in I just reacted. Are you okay?"

Female Human Inquisitor(Infiltrator)/10

Noravia gave Caleb a small but endearing smile. "I've never had anyone react for the sake of my well-being before, it's a nice feeling. Thanks to your actions, I escaped harm. And that deserves a proper thank you when we get back to Kintargo. I'm sorry if it made Ves angry."

Action 2
Undead, why did it have to be undead?" Tillia asked right after the undead shark attacked Caleb. She knew there as almost nothing that she could do to hurt this thing and she was getting rather sick of that fact that it seemed everything they fought was immune to her most potent magics. Fortunately that is why she had learned the spell to create a lightning bolt, it was just a shame that she couldn't have more have them handy than she did. With the need to not waste time fighting she decided that another bolt was exactly what they needed and so she cast it once more sending the jagged bolt of electricity into the thrice damned shark.

...but none of his attacks connected.

Female Human Inquisitor(Infiltrator)/10

Noravia started to move forward when Caleb was attacked. She started to yell out his name but it was choked off as she forced herself to focus on the shark. It was undead and Milani had revealed a new spell to her that she hadn't been able to use yet. Now was definitely the time. She held up her hand as if attempting to touch the shark and said the divine words to cause holy light to explode from her palm.

Casting Searing Light at the shark which is a ranged touch attack. Hopefully the its AC isn't as high for that...

I have a feeling that was a wasted spell. I'd use an action point to add to her attack roll if she's remotely close to hitting it...

Female Human Inquisitor(Infiltrator)/10

Forgot the Fort save or I would have done it first. I'd rather she take the damage if she could have hit the shark.

OK, let's amend the post slightly in that case...

The shark's tough hide had surprised the monk, but this time he was better prepared. Spear-hand thrusts bit wrist-deep into the enemy's body, ripping out whole handfuls of rotting flesh, actually digging into the shark's flank to reach for what had once been vital organs. The creature, becoming aware of the tiny gnat biting at its flanks that was turning into a real danger, tried it best to turn around but Eirik anchored his cloak's pectoral fins into the opening he was busy carving and held on for dear life. Gradually, the beast's movements grew sluggish as the enchantments animating its body began to unravel in the face of the bodily harm it was suffering.

A few moments later, Eirik dug himself out of the marine creature's innards. Covered in blood and gore, he had never been happier about how long he could hold his breath - magic or no magic, this was the kind of water he'd rather not attempt to breath.

Tillia screamed in terror when Vandomir was attacked by the monstrosity, she feared he'd been hurt worse than he was but found he was still fighting and felt a great deal of relief. She was trying to decide what to do next when the thing was taken out by Eirik. As the creature finally ceased moving she made her way towards Vandomir to see how he was, she just hoped he'd prove to be alright.

Actually, I changed my spell list around from what I had when I first finished leveling. Since we're going to be underwater so much I traded out a wall of ice and a dispel magic both for lightning bolts before we ever went under. I didn't realize you hadn't updated that and I'll make sure to let you know when I do that in the future for tracking purposes. The list in my alias is currently the correct one.

As soon as the undead shark ceased to move, Noravia was swimming towards Caleb. She knew he was hurt and her stomach twisted in worry. The monk frowned at the spirit as the inquisitor and the mystic addressed her, eyes roaming around the mess of broken ships, knowing any number of fell things could be hiding out there, waiting for them to lower their guards... and that was before one considered the nature of their enemy here - surely a necromancer had access to other schools and disciplines of magic as well? will: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 4 = 16
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

Apparently the additional pressure is wreaking havoc on Noravia's senses. Hopefully that's enough to have her see through the illusion.

Action 1
Tillia was startled when Vandomir called out and still only saw the drui....wait, there it was! She saw the hideous thing but not in time to try and act against it.

Female Human Inquisitor(Infiltrator)/10

Noravia watched as everyone sprang into action but it was still unclear to her as to why they were reacting. She trusted their judgment and so believed that there were threats to be fought but she just couldn't see them. She mutters a prayer, "Milani help me."

So can Noravia do anything or is she just standing there like a good little ignorant target? You never mentioned her in the recap and I think she tied the enemies initiative - can't she act when there's a tie?

Stats

Ah, did Caleb cast False Life on the way down when his last one collapsed to pressure damage? Post #4685.
Charm of Fate was expended (uselessly) on one of the pressure saves. Sure would have been nice to save it for the illusion, but explicitly that is not how it works.

Stats

Okay - this is complicated, but I think the 3rd level spell actually works here. Aqueous Orb doesn't stop when it hits someone. It is a 10ft sphere.
Should be able to start SW of the NE draugr, then move SW, then S, then S, then S, then SE. That means two Draugr need to make a pair of reflex saves at DC 18. If they fail both they are entangled (and I believe dragged along). If they fail one they just take non-lethal.

"I'll try and hold off the zombies!" called out Caleb. Swimming in place, he concentrated. Currents curled and flowed, whipping towards each other. Black tendrils spiraled out from the caster to the growing mass. Soon the whole area spiraled around a dark vortex. A vortex that spun through the water like a mad giant, splintering ships and leaving destruction in its wake.
