Praxim's action highlighted a point for me. I haven't picked tricks for Vuvo. I blame my lapse on not likeing and therefor not having a character with an animal companion. I'll correct this oversight (the lack of tricks) now.

Markum would use clicks, growls, grunts, whistles, and sounds one could hear in the wilds to 'command' Vuvo. So I'm sure that Praxim has heard the command for 'down' and may be able to reproduce it, but would Vuvo listen?


If a character dies, then I'll give the player the option to create another character.


Since Vuvo would be pretty familiar with Praxim, I figured it isn't a stretch for Vuvo to follow Praxim's command in the absence of Markum.

I have Rhianni leveled up on Herolab, just need to transpose her details over here...She gets another 1st level spell, I currently am thinking of charm person, but I'm willing to change if any of you have a need for a different spell. With so few spells she can learn, she's got to get useful spells that are probably not known by other party members. As an enchantress, I think I ought to have a 1st level enchantment school spell.

Anyway your thoughts are welcome. I think, getting wands and scrolls to do damage would be helpful to her in being more useful, but I'm sure you all have things you want.

As to spells, Magic Missile is probably the best bet mechanically, but doesn't seem to match Rhianni's personality. Charm Person makes sense to me.

Magic Missile may not seem to be the best fit for her personality until she realizes that if she's going to continue to travel with Markum, it would be wise to be able to defend herself. Mechanically, it will stay viable through most of her adventuring career.

*I've taken out the arrows as no one asked for them.

At this point, you've done every you needed to do to solve the mystery of goblin raid and prevent any more raids for a while. I'll let you know that there is more that can be done this dungeon, but nothing is necessary since you've fulfilled your main objective. If you want, we can move on to Skinsaw Murders. You can revisit Thistletop whenever you want.

I've gone and upgraded Lym to Evoker 4. I'm taking ranks in Craft (sculptures) so I can qualify for the Craft Wand feat next level, which might be useful for the party. A wand of Cure light wounds, perhaps?

Incidentally, I've developed an interest in the Cypher Mage prestige class detailed in Inner Sea Magic. The only problem is, I don't have the Inner Sea World Guide, so I don't know how the 'Cypher Magic' feat works.

If Varisian Chronicler will permit use of the Cypher Mage PrC, I'd like to take a few dips into it. As per her backstory, Lym did come to investigate the ancient Thassilonian magic, so it'd be both fun and make sense.
