Here is my assassin character for your inspection. His backstory is here
Long ago, there was a child left to die in the streets of Hive World. But that child didn't die. He was found by a local gang lord, and taken in as his heir. Through the years, he had become accustomed to the harsh reality of an Imperial hive world. When he got to the age of 13 he made his first job, his "father" thought he was too young to run smuggling trips with him. His father trained him in the use of many assassin techniques, even those ranging off-world. He was also given a name, Stern. Before then he had just been called "boy". He received such a name because of the icy gaze he casts whenever he looks down the sights of a weapon. But after his father thought he had completed his basic assassination training..The Real Hunt begins.
He set off to get his first kill as an underground assassin, it was a low-profile target to start. It was just a mere underground officer, so Stern set him in his sights. He breathed and fingered the trigger as the scope settled on his target's head. He held his breath for a few seconds and the rifle bucked in his arms, the target's head flew backwards and crashed to the ground. Feeling a sense of accomplishment, he quickly evaded the scene. Cries of nearby pedestrians engulfing the area.
He came back to the House, victorious and received many pats on the back for getting rid of a problem. His fame grew with each shot, Stern taking out target after target. His job became something "fun" for him, his eagerness and sense of adventure spiraling. Soon, he became known as a terror in the Hive, with law enforcement guarding every tower and outpost. However, they did not stop him very much . He dispatched them with ease.
With his power and fame growing there was talk of a big lord official coming to hunt Stern down. Stern couldn't let that happen, not with his currents successes. So he attempted to dispatch this official as he had down all of his targets. However, when he found a suitable sniping position he was confused as there was not a single lawman around. Shrugging his confusion off, he set his rifle in a nearby window. Looking out through his scope he could an armor-adorned figure with an "I" shaped emblem. For some reason, Stern felt unease looking at such a thing. As his scope settled on the figure's head, he turned around. The strange official was looking directly at Stern. Stern flinched, and attempted to re-calculate his scope on the target. The target was now in the same building as Stern...
He grabbed his rifle and attempted to run, when powerful hands clasped him throwing him in a waiting chair. His attacker was that same figure.
Stern yelled "JUST KILL ME ALREADY!, yet the man did not. He looked at Stern and then to the window. Observing everything about his choice of locations and his scope. "Hmm..I have come to recruit you.Not kill you, how much do you know about the Ordo Hereticus?"....Let The Actual Hunt Begin
I just need to transfer the information in the pdf I sent you, to the alias here.

Couple questions about equipment and "aquisitions"..Not sure what to call them in DH..looks just like you need to have money and buy stuff. (assuming it's available, etc) Correct me if I'm wrong.
Soo..
Couple questions for the GM:
1. Can I exchange my LasCarbine for a Lasgun? Exact same costs and scale (common, 75 thrones), just Lasgun is superior in every way..Not sure why you'd get a pistol and then carbine, both at such short ranges...
If I can't exchange it, can "trades" be made? I'd be willing to pay some "Thrones" to make it happen.
2. Starting with only a Flak Vest...Only 3 AP to Body..nothing else protected..WHAT??? I haven't checked for other classes, but I'm assuming this is pretty low...and dangerous given what I've read about the game...Or perhaps money can come quickly and easily, meaning we'll be able to equip ourselves more easily in no time...I don't know, never played DH.
Can I exchange/trade/pay some thrones for Flak Cloak? It costs 50 for the vest and 80 for the cloak, would it be possible to upgrade my starting gear in this way?
If not, then I'll just have to go shopping I guess, but 155 thrones doesn't get you far...I miss being a Rogue Trader..didn't even count thrones, you counted profit factor.

Oh right. I forgot about that part. As far as why Solon was recruited, well, the Ordo Hereticus can always use clerics to keep morale high, and there is little chance of Solon turning, as the Inquisitor has an iron clad guarantee that Solon cares for nothing so much as the Emperor.
That said, I would be interested in seeing the strength of the mind cleansing being put to the test. I had imagined when I made this character that it would be most interesting for Solon to be put into a position where he is forced to confront who he once was, such as being accidentally sent back to a place where the name and face of Ingenuus are known.
