For 100 exp, you gained a +3 to every stat and +1 wound. Losing a fate point, as far as the package goes, is not that big of a loss when you get about 1k exp in bonuses. The ONLY drawback to that package is the fact that you develop a rule-set version of an acute delusion based on the righteousness of the inquisition. The chances of that not applying are slim.

I think it is worth everyone taking note of the fact that what happens IC stays IC. I'm not at all discounting rules issues and those are a call for the GM, but in character actions don't need to be logical or rational.
There's value in talking about whether or not we see a need for more (or less) harmony, want to talk out certain issues, etc. but fundamentally, other than rules issues, we really shouldn't be telling people they are playing wrong or calling people names out of character. That's not to say that everyone has to have fun with every particular group of players, but saying "I don't have fun when X sort of thing happens in game" is different than saying "don't do X thing in game". And calling people names out of character is always unacceptable.
So, let the GM make rules calls. And everyone else express and talk about issues like adults. Being jerks on the out of character thread doesn't help anyone.

Just remember: You did imply that the Inquisitor was using unsanctioned psykers, which is in itself an accusation of radicalism if not outright heresy.

All of this stuff is posted on my profile, in case you want to read it in a more tightly composed fashion. Anyway, Solon is something of an odd bird. Thanks to the mind wipe, only the barest bits of what he's told anyone are true. He was born on a Hive world, but no effort was taken to make him know which one, or even give him a name to offer. As he said, there was a rebellion that was sparked in the aftermath of a Manifactorum explosion, and people that he cared about were embroiled in it, and it was the reason that he became a cleric. The thing that he doesn't know though, is that he was the force behind, and the leader of the rebellion. When the rebellion was crushed, he was taken captive and mind cleansed into a cleric, because someone thought that his zeal would make for a good preacher.
His tendency to side with the more lower class members of the team stem from residual memory of his own humble origins, along with the programming that taught him his mission in life was to protect the downtrodden and innocent, while also being instructed that if he couldn't save them, hey, no one is really innocent, so let them all burn if it means accomplishing your objectives.
Initially this character came into being as an answer to the question of what it would look like if someone with the mindset of a Redemptionist was to be a little more radical in their beliefs, that's why I was initially hesitant to offer him up.

All of this stuff...
I see. I can see how this is going to clash with the different layers of background he has. Or at least, from the economic standpoint. It makes sense you would ally with them because in a hive, your gang is your family. The church would come second because it didn't keep you alive for X amount of years. But when you have to start sacrificing them... Yep, good stuff.

My apologies good players. I was working on a substantial post last night when the site went down for maintenance. I am trying to get it rewritten at work today, with the hope of having it posted in the next few hours.
To the chaos at work i commented about, my general manager was transferred auddenly last week to another facility and the other assistant manager was fired the same day. So i went from 1 of 3 to the only one. Things are pretty well in stride now, and pace will return to normal.
Game On.
Anyone with successful a tech-use/search roll, are there specific topics you are searching for?

My continued apologies gentlemen. The chaos at work was not as worked out as I had hoped, which led to a crazy second half of my week. I am still very excited to run this game and will endeavor to with any players who continue to offer their support and remain active. SlimGrim has bowed out, while Seth, Skarr, Gaius, Liam, and Praetus have all confirmed commitment. Solon, still with us?

GM posted 10 days ago eh? Yeah I was right about this one. Those of you that were non-haters can join in my Deathwatch campaign if you like. It is endless recruitment and missions. If you are not on mission, you can RP on the ship and do research and other things to earn exp. That is how I deal with drop offs.
