GM Goblin King |
You've got your leftenants to watch the mounts. Stix should go with. They's stuff a-goin' on!
GM Goblin King |
OK. The 3 of you go to the bottom, Velag scouts ahead a little, and he sees something.
GM Goblin King |
A horde of smurfs appear out of nowhere, killing the mounts, then attacking Stix. All your leftenants are dead, too.
Velag Wordeater |
Velag says, "Statues to killses! They the bestest!"
Drawing both swords, he steps forward and pokes at the one on the left saying, "Somebody Help Velag flank!"

Having pronounced judgement against the stoopit thing, his wounds start to heal as he drives his swords into the nice rocky flesh...

Tark's foe fairly explodes. Shattered stone flies everywhere!
The remaining gargoyle must be unnerved, since it misses on all but its gore attack, doing 5 damage to Velag. It's not backing down.
Velag Wordeater |
Velag cackles with glee, "The more you fight, the longer Velag can hurt you!"

OK. Tark bashes the door down after a few minutes, and inside you find a great deal of treasure; gold and gems, mostly, but there's a lot of platinum, too. The markings on the door are destroyed, though you did note that it must have been placed there long after the building collapsed.
GM Goblin King |
No. Just treasure you could swim in. You'll need your mounts and your flunkies to cart it all out. You could see if the LK would get you items for it. He's not a "magic shop," but he'd at least know what you can do to trade it for items if he can't get them.
GM Goblin King |
You don't pick new spells at 8th. You can at 9th. You'll need to get other spells in the usual ways. You get your 8th level patron spell, though.
Velag Wordeater |
Velag's done -- took keen edge as the new spell, gained another int point (and the skill points that come with it), and may I say: "Yay for iterative attacks" and also "Yay for second judgement!"
Also, as a side note: Witches (like Wizards) gain 2 new spells every time they level.

I don't know why I trust my memory on things like that. It never works out!
