Goblins do often make interesting characters. If only because it feels more natural to have... quirks... with them.

YARRRRRR!
(And added an about me to Gnaly.)

Dotting... I was thinking about a very fat goblin to work as the ship's surgeon. Probably Bloodrager because I think it's hilarious. Hopefully I'll be able to get something ready on time... I should finish it by tomorrow afternoon I believe.

So I am scrapping the shield bit and I am going to go with something else, I think I am going to try and create a Goblin Feral Gnasher with a focus on chucking random crap come lvl 2 :)
I am not entirely sure how it will even out, damage wise, what with things like small size, improvised weapons and rage, but we will see :)

He will also be having the Improvisational Equipment trait to further emphasize his haphazard nature, and I'm pretty sure there is a trait that allows you to make swifter appraise checks for a hoard of gold but I will have to look that one up. It would go good with my smash-and-grab flavour :)

Aside from that, he will be an innately clever little goblin that never uses things "As Intended" and is always coming up with his own interesting and zany plans and schemes >:)

right ill be adding two more players today just need to reread some characters

Adding two more? Does this mean you've already selected some? Are there still openings?

SO FAR I HAVE ONLY SELECTED ONE OF 5 and ill be at 3 or 5 today

Hi Bone Man! Here's Chess with my submission for the game :)

Gadoongo is a ruffian, a very tall and fat goblin who's smelly even for the average goblin. He's rude and brute, and loves cold ale, crunchy bugs and a good fight.

Mechanically, he's an Oversized Goblin Brawler with the Snakebite Striker archetype.

And here's a list of the current submissions in alphabetic order (I believe I caught them all - let me know if anyone gave up or submitted something that I missed, and I apologize if so in advance).

adsapiens - Gadoongo Heineous - Brawler (Snakebite Striker)
Dave Chua - Gnaly - Cleric
Deliverance - Krug the Cook - Arcanist
derpdidruid - Scruug - Kineticist
Rob Lusteck - Raph - Monk (Martial Artist)
Rob Lusteck - Urg Shinbiter - Druid (Kraken Caller)
Snowheart - Sloog - Goblin Gunslinger (Pistolero)
TheWaskally - Kraleck - Wizard (Pact Wizard)

Alright, here's my submission:

---===Appearance and Personality===---:

Eyes:Gold
Hair:Nah
Skin:Dark Green
Height:2’7”
Weight:27 lbs

Personality:Carina (Carrie to her friends) is...actually kind of civilized for a goblin, to be honest. That doesn't mean she's not insane, she definitely is. But she's at least able to form coherent sentences, most of the time. She's a bit jumpy, and doesn't really accept help very much. She's very much a "do it yourself" person, and tries to figure out what it is someone wants when they try to help, even if they've truly got good intentions. The only person she implicitly trusts is her boss Sherl, a halfling who owns the bar that Carrie works in. Nobody really understands the full details of that relationship-what drew Carrie to Sherl, or what makes Sherl want to keep her around.

Background:

The Greasefire, outskirts of Port Peril, the Shackles

”Order up!”

I put the plate of meat on the counter and scamper back over to the kitchen area. There’s a few other pieces of meat sizzling on a slab of metal above the fire. I poke one of them. It doesn’t jump at me or fall apart, it must be done! I put it on a plate and run it over to the counter. ”Order u-”

”What the hell is THAT thing doing here? You let a goblin into the kitchen?!”

Uh oh.

A few of the regulars turn around to see who said it, old Garruk already starting to chuckle. He knows what’s going to happen next. I clamber up onto the counter, flipping my knife around and whipping it at the guy who spoke up.

The knife flips around twice before the handle bonks him right in the forehead. He’s on his way down when a beer mug hits him right between the legs from another angle. I look to my left-Sherl’s on a table, a smirk on her weird, pale face. Garruk’s lying on the ground, crying from laughter.

”Right then-you two, grab your friend and get out. I don’t care if your ship just got in, you’re done here. And don’t think I don’t know what you’re doing here, can’t you read? No press-ganging in my bar. Don’t even try it.” Sherl draws a small knife from her pocket as she talks, she’s starting to look scary. Even if I’m taller than she is.

”Now-anyone else got a problem with Carrie in the kitchen?”

Everyone shakes their head. I head back into the kitchen. My meat’s burnt. Eh. It’s not that bad, they can probably keep it down well enough. As I walk the food over, I hear Garruk talking to the guy next to him.

”...so since the bar’s so close to the outskirts of the city, we think she came from a tribe somewhere up in the hills or something. Maybe went out foraging, smelled something in the city, decided to investigate, who knows. All I know is, one day Sherl’s talking about this goblin who just came in and started cooking like she belonged here. And it’s not half bad, either. I mean...for a crappy bar in the poorest part of the meanest town, it’s downright edible. Carrie’s been a staple here ever since.”

I smile. I like halflings. Garruk and Sherl aren’t bad.

Later that night. Technically morning, really.

Ugh. Looooong night. Had to throw things at three-wait no, four other guys. Got real tired and drank that weird black stuff Sherl calls “kofee”. Not allowed to have koffee anymore. Really tired now. I walk back through the city to home. Sherl got me a place a few blocks from the bar. It’s huge-I can lay down and still have room for another whole me! And I can jump and touch the ceiling with my hands! I like it. It’s bigger than where I used to live with my tribe AND it’s ALL. MINE. I see my door-I scratched a picture of myself on it so that I would know it’s mine. Sherl kinda sighed when I did it.

Then, BAM! Something hits the back of my head really, really hard. I smash onto the ground. I hear footsteps behind me. ”This one’ll do real nice, yeah…”

Then I hear a laugh, then it’s dark.

About Me:

I’ve been playing Pathfinder since 2012. I’m currently in two games here on the forums-a goblin-centric space campaign and an all-kobold Skull and Shackles game. I love playing little monstrous races, to be honest. Like I said, I do have current experience with Skull and Shackles, but I joined the Kobold campaign when they were well into the 2nd book, and I haven’t played through book 1 in like...four years. So at this point, I’d pretty much be playing that part of it fresh. If you feel like it’s potentially a bad thing for me to have played this before, I completely understand-I promise, it won’t affect my gameplay in the slightest, if you’re worried about it.

As for my posting habits, I check the boards pretty much all the time. I’m in the EST time zone, and I can usually check the boards and make smaller posts on my phone. I really prefer to make the big ones when I’m at home on my computer, for obvious reasons. My work schedule can be a little hectic (I’m a substitute teacher and I work in catering), and while I try to not let it affect my stuff here, it happens. I had a lot of RL stuff happen to me earlier this year, and I kind of vanished from the boards for a while. I’m back now though, and I don’t intend on disappearing like that again. That’s about it, really. If you have any other questions, just let me know. Thanks for the consideration!

Also, just wanted to mention that I know Makeshift Scrapper is technically not an Unchained Rogue archetype, but I ran it by GM Bone Man and he okayed it-everything fits mechanically, and it explicitly says in the rules that Danger Sense can be considered Trap Sense for archetypes that swap it out. So...yeah. Thanks again!

ok wow im going to have to call it here no more submissions thank you i don't want more people to spend time making a character and me not chose them..also if your not chosen keep your characters as is always the case with PBP games sometimes a player or two pulls to much life aggro and i will need a replacement so to keep things fair ill keep preference to those that already had a submission on the first go around ^_^

well i have to get up early tomorrow taking the family to see the tulip fields in Holland but ill have my the last 4 posted when i get back and them we will start the game on Sunday +1GMT

Thanks Bone! Actually, my submission is already on the list - Gadoongo. No need for more time, unless you need me to make any changes and whatnot. Have fun at the tulip fields (I'm waiting to take my family here in WA too - but the fields aren't fully flourished yet).
