Ronigan says "Thank you" and begins taking the party to the left until they run into another ditch with the same plant While this ditch seems to have it planted throughout as if on purpose. Ronigan says"Lucky I jumped over the ditch the last time I came here."
Jondar jumps and clears it by 1 foot. Lyle jumps and clears it by three feet. Ronigan clears it by four feet. Chardak by three feat anna by 7 feet. And Nesteruk by three feet. I will be using italicized ooc to represent the Voice of the Wind that piper hears.
Pipers butt hurt. Her back hurt too, come to think of it. Then she started trying desperately not to think of it because the rest of her body started chiming in with various complaints. Her stomach demanded food, her throat chimed in with and water!, then her bad ankle started to cramp. She started to wonder again why she had accepted a job to go after bandits all my her lonesome. No matter, the wind had told her to go, so go she went.
With a sigh she slid off her faithfull companion and riding war-dog Nimbus. The dirt felt cool, but dry and soft enough. She broke out her day's trail food and munched on bread and cheese while she shambled along. Her shattered ankle had handicapped her speed. She was a very slow walker; roughly equivalent to a first year human toddler. It bothered her sometimes. Running was painful and she had to jog to keep up with most human gates. Most of the time, however, she was alone and she could roam as slowly as she wished.
The wind came up from behind and wrapped around her. "Hi." it said pleasantly, "You're almost there, but you can't walk. No time for slow-walking now. You have friends ahead. "
Piper sighed and rolled her eyes. It wasn't often that the wind told her to hurry. Usually when it did trouble followed.
She finished her lunch quickly and tossed some to Nimbus. They shared some water and Piper re-mounted, much to the concern of her rear.
Five minutes later she spotted a tumble-down building in the distance.
"There", chimed the wind. Piper tilted her head, trying to picture the building standing upright. She couldn't.
Suddenly Nimbus sniffed at something and started to growl low in his throat. Trouble. Pip gave him a scratch between the ears and urged him on around the building. The blank stares of two recently dead dogs meet her. Her nose crinkles up.
"Eww, gross..."
At this point I should come within view of the party near the well, if I'm not mistaken

My apologies if I read wrong. I read that the dogs attacked at the haunted house. I will continue down the trail to the ditch then
Recognizing nothing of value here besides some meat, Pip takes a look around. The winds were rarely wrong. Soon enough Nimbus caught the sent of something and started to follow of his own accord. Before long, they round a bend and arrive at the ditch.

In the distance she hears the soft clatter of armored folks moving about. Overcome by curiosity, she urges Nimbus to jump the ditch and trots up to the well with a cherry, "Hello! You must be after the bandits too! We should so do this together because I would be crazy to do it all myself. "
Grinby began to push his way through the brush again.
How hard is it to track down one gnome? Apparently it's pretty tough, actually.
He thought back on the last few days events.
"Am I the only person here to hunt the bandits?"
No sir, the other recruit seems have already left, in a hurry she was.
Well s~~&.
He could have told me she had a riding dog. Had to find that out for myself by watching the tracks. He breaks through to a clearing and hear a voice yell, "Hello! You must be after the bandits too! We should so do this together because I would be crazy to do it all myself."
yes, yell about bandits in an open field in the woods great idea
mid-stream entrances are often awkward. Welcome aboard, both of you.
Chardak looks up from the two bodies on the ground and stands quickly. He lets his spear dangle from his left hand while he glances at the newcomers, then over at Ronigan, and back to the new comers.
The halforc is big, topping six feet and 200 pounds and dressed in heavy scale mail. Weapons festoon his body. There's a two handed sword and shortbow slung over his right shoulder. A light mace and dagger hang at his belt. A short sword is tied to his pack. His slightly underslung jaw slides forward and down in revealing smiling (or snarling) broad yellow teeth.
"Stop there." He keeps his eyes on the gnome and ranger while he addresses the man beside him. "Ronigan, are these your bandits?"
"Do I look like a bandit?" Grinby says, sounding a bit hurt and very sarcastic. He looks like a ranger simply put, Bow, spears, and greatsword and from the looks of his backpack. He's hiding a campsite in there.

Pip looks taken aback at Ronigan's remark, then a little hurt at the half-orc's. " I'm not a bandit!" she exclaims. Her silver blue hair flies about as she shakes her head emphatically. Most of her gear looks to be on her dog which is chelaxian and looks bred for fighting with thick shoulders and neck. The gnome herself, on the other hand, looks like a stiff wind would blow her away. She has a light crossbow on her back, a Morningstar at her right side and a Gnomish Hooked Hammer peaks out from it's holster under her small backpack. She wears a mix of blue and grey colored cloth robes under thick leather boots and various mix and matched traveling accessories.
Grinby lets out a bellowing laugh"Haha, Fair enough. My names Grinby, part time adventurer, Part time chef, part time wild life enthusiast...part time a lot of things come to think of it.
He shrugs his shouldersBut no sir we are not bandits, In fact I believe our goals are the same."

" Ya! we're here to fight some bandits too! I was hired by the city and at first I was like 'I have to do this alone?' but then the wind said, 'no, silly, you'll have friends!' so I came and found you because if I went alone I'm pretty sure I'd get splatted all over the walls or something horrid like that."
At the sight of so many weapons on the two newcomers, Chardak's smile (or snarl) widens. "So you fight for the favor of the Lord in Iron too? You are brave to approach four strangers in the border lands."
His posture doesn't change, nor does he take a step forward. His eyes slide questioningly toward Ronigan. When the man doesn't reply immediately, they slip on toward the second halforc, and then the half-elven woman.

"The Lord of Iron is nice and all (a little stubborn for me). I follow the Wind. When I pray I usually address Lady Shelyn or Lord Gorzeh. Really though the Wind and daytime sky are my masters."

Another half-orc stood close to Chardak, of a similar size and physique. Together they looked quite imposing, although Nesteruk greeted the two with a warm smile, contrasting with Chardak's suspicion.
A true Lastwall man, born and bred! he exclaimed with a wry smile at Grinby's statement. Well met to you both. I am Nesteruk of Vigil. We would welcome you along our bandit hunt... Can't be too careful.

Pip nods and the eloquent orc and Nimbus spins quickly when the horse clops into view. He sniffs curiously, walks over, with Pip still on board, and starts to sniff at the horse from a safe distance.
Not embarrassed by this in the least, Pip looks up at the tall man on a tall horse and waves enthusiastically. "Hi! I'm pip, and the wind just brought us all together for the fighting of some bandit thugs around here. Apparently the city really wants them gone because they keep sending people out. I wonder if we will meet anyone else friendly, or if they'll all try to squish us."
You see an Half-elven Woman of about 6 foot 3. She has a curvy human build with pale skin,
But her face is more elven with Emerald Green eyes and lose Copper Red Hair that ends near her waist.
She is wearing well made peasants clothes and a Cestus on her right hand and arm.
On her back one can see a back pack containing her stuff.

"Hi Storm Fleetfoot! I'm Piper, but you can call me Pip! Honestly I would love your help. The more the merrier I say! But these guys have to say yes too."
Nimbus seems to decide that Storm's horse is not evil and starts to pant happily.
Chardak shrugs. He watches the mounted human. Another spear rider without troops, like Stark. I thought they were all in warbands. They never came against Skurk's band singly.
"No, but it is a bit peculair to see one of The Order of Dragon alone. They generally work together, it is possible he's still searching for friends. " 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7Sense Motive

Pip looks positively delighted to have another member in the group. "so that settles it, then. Onward, my ginormous companions! We march! "
It takes her a moment to realize that she is not, in fact, marching and could not really march if her life depended on it. . When she does realize this, she hastily adds, "And ride!", assuming a noble, nose into the sky riding posture.
"Then by all means lead on."Sorry If i'm rushing things, I just feel like we wanted to establish characters and then establish trust through actions. Yes?

Pip had opened her mouth to say that she really didn't know and that the winds would probably show her, but then one of the humans said he knew and she didn't have to explain how the wind was usually not into going in straight lines and how that would probably drive the party mad.
She simply grins and falls into line somewhere near the middle as she was really small and didn't want to have to follow the wind to find them again if she somehow got separated from the main group.
