Winter Witch 3

I'll ray of frost the one at C-8.
Ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Damage: 1d3 + 1d4 ⇒ (1) + (2) = 3

gm 3

Anna's ray of frost misses between the half orcs legs. Chardak stabilize 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

Poor Chardak. We play with dice for the randomness, i'm sure therealthom won't be complaining :).

crud forgot Chardak's orc ferocity. If chardak does not come along changing things. Charging here could get chardak killed from the Aoo from longspear so cast bless.Chardak casts a blessing to gorum hoping his friends. +1 to all attack rolls and saves agianst fear.

Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2

Instead of bless, I'd like to cast stabilize in the orc ferocity round. ( Not sure I could charge through the water anyway and it would be suicide when Chardak falls unconscious the next round.) Stabilize will let Chardak contribute in following rounds with bless and Jondar or Anna won't have to waste any actions saving him.

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

I'm afraid thats not how stabilise works. Even once your 'stabilised' your still in negative HP, it just means you won't bleed out once you collapse after casting it.

Just to be clear. Its not going to let you continue to act on negative HP.

gm 3

Jondar is up

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar uses spontaneous casting and converts his protection from evil into a cure light wounds which he casts on Chardak.

Jondar sees his comrade fall to the ground and in a loud voice says, "Pharasma, your servant calls for your aid. Heal my comrade." Warm spreads in his chest and down his arms as he reaches forward to touch Chardak. Upon touching his ally Jondar releases Pharasma's healing energy.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

WTF!!!! Sorry guys. :( It appears we are cursed with bad luck when it comes to dice rolls.

Winter Witch 3

This is why I like my own house rule on cure and inflict spells?

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

Ordered Initiative-

Chardak (acted)- 23
Jondar(acted)- 18
Karthan- 12
Lyle- 11
Nesteruk- 7
Half Orcs- 4
Anna- 3

Map repost for new page- Link

Male Human Cleric/1

Yeah,me too. I have a house rule that allows the rerolling of 1s except for d20 rolls and you are only allowed to reroll 1s the first time. If you roll a 1 on your reroll you are stuck with it.

AC28/FF23/T27:Init+8:Saves F+15/R+15/W+15:HP 128|128: Perception +22 (Lowlight Vision)

"Great now they're using pikes. Just seems like we can't catch a break." Stepping in KArthan roars as he brings his bardiche around to behead one of the orcs.

Shift to E9 attack C8
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

gm 3

Karthan's slashing attack hits the orc in its exposed neck cutting it deeply and it collapses to the ground a maw agape with many fangs opens up on the head as the half orc collapses dead.

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

Lyle is up.

"Blundering brambles, stupid orcs!" Lyle says pointing at the half-orc in front of him. The tip of his finger begins to glow a pale blue then bursts firing a thin ray of frost at the half-orc.

Ray of Frost at I6.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 to hit. 1d3 ⇒ 3 damage.
Goodness me. I wish the dice weren't so cruel.

gm 3

Lyle don't forget bless and your +1 from small size. Also your ray of frost deals 1d3+1 damage from your bloodline arcana as you get +1 damage per die rolled. Nesteruk is up. Lyle's ray misses the half orc wildly shooting off deeper into the cavern.

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

Not wanting to try his chances closing into melee with the half-orc's reach advantage, Nesteruk holds his greataxe with one hand for a moment as he reaches over his shoulder to retrive a javelin and hurls it at the warrior in I6.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

gm 3

Nesteruk's javelin hit solidly in the torso of the half orc in I9 and it gasps as it opens its mouth in pain and collapses.

The remaining half orc takes a step closer in front of the small pool of water and thrusts with his longspear hitting Karthan in a gap at his shoulder but Karthan still manages to stand.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
round2 end map
Karthan takes 7 points of damage.

gm 3

forgot to add Anna is up.

Winter Witch 3

ray of frost one of the orcs (prefer an injured one)
Ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Damage: 1d3 + 1d4 ⇒ (1) + (3) = 4

gm 3

no injured ones that are still up until after you hit it.

Anna ray wisses by Karthan's head and solidly impact the the half orc but it seems the half orc still has a little fight in him as if another hit is needed to take him down.
Chardak is stable but unconcious so Jondar's turn although remember that right now the half orc has soft cover from you because of Karthan.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar glances down at Chardak, sees that he is stable and moves to the other side of Anna D11. Once in position he levels his crossbow and draws a bead on the half-orc and lets fly a bolt.

Attack: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
Crit Confirmation: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1

No sure I can shoot because I cast CLW on Chardak. If not then I'll ready my light crossbow for an attack next round.

Damn that was a wasted crit

gm 3

let us just say you held the crossbow in one hand. It does not have a divine focus component so you did that.you roll two dice for critting but that actually did not confirm because of cover.

if oyu only roll one dice rant:

Rolling two dice when critting stops that from happening which makes it better. That way has way more varience and at low levels means a critical hit can do less damage than a regular hit if you roll a 1 often.

Jondar crossbow flies around Karthan seems to be headed directly towards the head of the half orc but hits glances of his hadn of his longspear injuring it but he still seems to be barely fighthing with his last breath grimmacing with his fangs.

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

Nesteruk seems to almost be stunned by his success, looking on at the Half-Orc with a slack jaw.

Did... Did you see that brother? I... I killed him...

gm 3

Karthan is up

AC28/FF23/T27:Init+8:Saves F+15/R+15/W+15:HP 128|128: Perception +22 (Lowlight Vision)

Second verse same as the first.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Attack
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Damage

gm 3

Karthan's bardiche attack hits the torso of the half orc but does not penetrate the studed leather armor glancing off of it. lyle then Nesteruk up next.

Frustrated, Lyle shakes his head. "Let's try that again, shall we?" he says pointing his finger. Again, a thin line of frost lances the air toward the half-orc.

Ray of frost at I-6 again.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 ranged touch. 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 damage.

Son-of-a-!@#$%. *sigh*

gm 3

Lyle, Nesteruk already made that half orc collapse with a javelin.
Lyle's ray misses to the left of the orc he aimed at.Nesteruk is up.

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Nesteruk's alchemically oversized muscles strain as he hurls his second javelin at full force at the remaining foe, but the projectile sails overhead, slamming into the wall instead.

gm 3

The wounded half orc takes one last thrust at Karthan trying to hit him and misses. The half orc then collapses to the ground unconcious. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

combat over Party next actions Nesteruk still has a little over 9 minutes left on mutagen.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar sees the last half-orc fall to the ground and with a nod of satisfaction he says, "Much better result this time my friends, Pharasma has truly blessed this endeavor. I will call upon her to heal those that are wounded, but unfortunately our enemies could be healed unless we move them far enough away from me."

Once the half-orcs or Chardak has been moved to a good location Jondar calls upon his mistress for her healing energy. The familiar warmth blossoms in his chest and radiates out healing all those within range. As the warmth fades Jondar signs and opens his eyes with a smile he says, "I'm ready to continue when the rest of you are ready."

Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Channel Energy left: 6/7

gm 3

to someone moving half orc in C8:

you notice a bag attached to the half orc studed leather armers seems to jingle with a metalic sound as if it is full of coins. You also notice
a small bottle that holds about an ounce.

moving other orcs:
A tiniest sound could be heard as if the jingling of only a few coins.

Chardak shakes as the healing energy passes through him. Coughing, he feels his chest with his left hand and looks up at Jondar. "Thanks," he grunts. "I am grateful that your Lady has given me a chance to redeem myself in Gorum's eyes."

gm 3

After the fight a drop of water falls from the ceiling and lands in the pool in the center of the cavern making a sound of a visible drip. The cave seems to have a branch up ahead one leading to the left and one leading to the right.

Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2

"Let us turn left."

Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2

Hearing no dissension, Chardak leads the way down the left hand branch.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jnodar nods and follows Chardak as he readies his crossbow.

gm 3

As the party enters the tunnel on the left they notice the cave starts to smell remotely like soot. The party hears what sounds like a human woman sneezing as they approach a bend in the cave to the right and as they go aroudn that bend with light shines and you hear in orc and three orcs with heavy flails and a half orc wearing breastplate comes to fight. And a human woman in her 30s in shackles in the corner of the kitchen is in the room.

"Here we go again," Lyle says with a sigh.

gm 3

dang screwed up link to map agian. fixed link
fixed map

HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Spellcraft to identify spell as its cast

I'd like to roll Spellcraft as well, if I may.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

gm 3

NEsteruk and Lyle:
It is murderous command.

Nesteruk that modifier is wrong you forgot the -2 to int from your mutagen so it should be +5 modifier for spellcraft under the effects of the mutagen.

Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2

Will save 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Chardak willing pulls out his greatsword, but struggles to turn it against the orcs rather than his companions.

Initiative in order:

b 23
Lyle 16
Chardak 14
Anna 12
Karthan 10
NEsteruk 10
o 8
Jondar 4

Probably saved. Fingers crossed.

gm 3

Chardak resists the attempt for him to attack his companions. The half orc in breastplate then draws a really nicely made greataxe.
Lyle to act

Lyle thrust his hand out and chants arcane words.

Lyle will cast Sleep on G-3, catching both the nearby Orcs in the 10 ft. radius. DC 12 Will negates, 4 HD worth of creatures, lowest HD affected first.

gm 3

dc is not 12 it is +cha mod(3)+spell level (1)=14. minimum needed to cast the spell is only for wands and scrolls not when you are using a spell slot.

The orcs get hit by Lyles spell invisibly rolling over them as their minds try to resist.
F21d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13
H31d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19
The orc in F2 drops fast asleep not knowing what happened to him but the orc in H3 stays awake.

Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2

"Let's see how you like Gorum's might!" Chardak charges the half-orc. Swinging his greatsword in a low arc.

Swift action activate justice judgement for +1 on attacks. Charge to C4. Attack B3.

Greatsword 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 .... damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1) + 3 = 7

And now I'm just in the way.
