Despite his wounds Yarask raises his sword high in the air and takes on the other wolf, roaring at the same time:"Augier! Get out of here and warn the townsfolk! Whatever else happens that damned half orc needs to pay for his atrocities!"

Power attack roll: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 -> Damage roll: 2d6 + 8 + 3 ⇒ (1, 5) + 8 + 3 = 17

Waaat? I'll have to shave my head in shame!

Yarask hits the wolf again and cuts him deeply. Not taking his time to put out the flames, Yarask burns a bit fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

The wolf cannot take a blow like Yarask put on him again.

Augier shuffles 5' to the west so he can stand up without getting mauled.

Skreed and Wolves:

Skreed throw Yarask: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 132d6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 4) + 3 = 13
Wolf vs Aargh: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 301d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

The alchemist with his considerable speed moves back, and hurls another firebomb hitting Yarask from about twenty feet away. {13 fire damage, and still on fire}

The wolf takes a five foot step to follow Aaargh, not wanting to tackle the flaming barbarian. He sinks his teeth into the wizard causing a moderate wound (7 damage).

Skreed says ominously. "The terms were no quarter I believe."

There was a great memorial to the dwarves that saved the town of Trunau. The funeral made Rodrik's look like a hasty affair, and the town crowded in to hear Rock speak of the stout hearts of dwarves and their reliability in times of crisis. As the new town began to rebuild, the gates were labeled: Yarask, Dolgrym, Tegnar, and Augier.

Dwarf traders often preferred to stop in Trunau. It appears free drinks and free food were available, especially if travelers had details about the four heroes and their ancestry.

Omast gave up drinking, realizing that he had left the town in a bad situation for four dwarves to save it. Ruby never married, although her father wanted to, never getting over the pig farmer who wanted to be hero that stole her heart.

THE END

South Tower is E on map of Trunau--you journey there from Temple which is F on map.

From the temple you find Guard Captain Omast Frum dangling from a harness trying to remove a thirty foot high and ten foot wide set of cross swords in white that has been painted on the tower. He has been at his chore for hours, and the paint shows little sign of coming off. The smell of lye is in the air.

As you approach, he seems focused on his task with single-minded determination. He seems to ignore your approach. When you call to him, he responds with a gruff: "Whadya want?"

Those of you tactically inclined point out the graffiti on the tower is visible for miles to the south outside of town.
