"Ok, burn the Brew'ry, then free the slaves?" Kraygan asks. "We leave 'em and they'll prob'ly assign new guards tomorrow."

That frost giant in the brewery had a key chain. Did we search his personal quarters upstairs? Let's make sure we do that before torching the place.

Wren speaks up after something triggers his attention.

"You know? We have have key chain from the frost giant guarding the brewery. Let's go search that before we torch the place. The remaining question is whether to free the slaves tonight or tomorrow. Jorgan ain't looking too spry, after all," Wren notes as he spryly flies around, keeping his knees from getting grumpy.

Go search the brewery, then let the dwarvenhorde rig it to blow/burn.

Torgan looks around as everyone adds their opinion. "Well, it seems no one wants to mess with this building, so we should just let the firebomber take care of it." he says, nodding towards Wren.

"Use your new flame bow to set this place on fire and then we can start a fire at the brewery." Torgan adds.

"We can see if it draws the guards from the slave pens." he adds as Rogzul seems to deeply desire saving some humans from the clutches of the giants.

Content with their wanton destruction the group heads back to the brewery to investigate it further. Within the room upstairs is a giant sized bed and two tables covered in alchemical and witch-like paraphernalia. The shelves contain a number of personal items, including a sizable collection of herbs, mushrooms, alchemical reagents, and spell components. This table is also where the Cauldron of Brewing rests.

Back on the main floor is a device in the southwest corner. It is the still which is emitting highly explosive ethanol vapors.

When everyone is out and the area is clear of dwarves, yaks, squatting orcs, & yakken, Wren will try to light the ethanol from afar with his flaming bow.

"You ready?"

Once everyone is clear of the building by several feet Wren sends a flaming arrow through the doors near the still.

The group has absolutely zero time to react as the flame ignites the ethanol. A blinding flash of light ignites the cool night air and a cacophonous wave of sound reverberates all throughout the camp, waking the entire place. Within moments the camp begins to stir as several patrols, trolls, frost giants and svathurims bound towards the Brewery, or at least what is left of the ignited building.

The group quickly retreats as the brewery burns to the ground. A mob of giants soon arrive at the scene that would give an entire dwarven clan a heart attack. They begin to howl and shake their fists at the sight, shedding bitter tears over the loss of their beer. The flaming building creates just enough of a distraction for the group to make a quick retreat back into the mountains.

As Torgan passes the slave pens he notices that it ultimately looks to be undefended at the moment. The patrol that showed up in the longhouse must have been the guards that heard Torgan's gallant entrance as he crashed through the door. Though sadly there is little time to do anything with the news as the entire camp is now awakened.

After nearly an hour of hiding and running the group makes it back to where they spoke with Naximarra the dragon. Wren finds the dragon waiting as it seems agitated. Jorgan shakes his head at Wren's attempt to hide. You'd fit better behind that pole just standing straight elf. I need to teach him some better posture....

Jorgan makes a few hand signals to his fellow dwarves to coordinate their charge in and then rears Spirit into a run as the ram puts his horns down and tries to take out part of the wall:

Wren turns to the side and tries to hide by blocking his body across a large gaping area in the posts. Not quite large enough for the elf to squeeze through but large enough to see him blocking a good sized hole.

backing up Jorgan leads the charge as he smashes Spirit forth into the logs. the ram's thick horns crack the log wall right open and slaves run screaming as they scatter to the nearby shacks for relative safety.

Dropping a stone the Svathurim sneer. See. I told you someone was out killing our worthless cousins.

As the dwarves pile into the open field the Svathurim grab for their lances and shields.

The other Svathurim chuckles. They have no clue what is in store for them.

Utilizing Wren's boon of speed, Malt charges in as Torgan yells out. "Your cousin was but a mere pincushion after we were done with him!"

"And you lot might make good sofas for our new taproom!" he says with a chuckle as Malt tries to gore the one with green eyes.

Consider the charge as Jorgan's surprise. As a note, I'll be traveling tomorrow morning and likely back on Wednesday. Still being a bit injured, Jorgan will start a summon nature's ally III on the first round before charging in to melee.

"Chh... Gah! Torgan, go left, go LEFT! BALLS!" Kraygan bellows, his clear line of attack now eclipsed by Malt's big arse. "Nevermind! Stay RIGHT!"

Steering Haggis to the side, he positions himself to charge with his lance.

@Rogzul- Stoneskin requires a special material component to cast of 250 gp worth of either granite or diamond dust. Did you purchase some?

@Torgan- Charging is a full round action and you only had a surprise round

Before Torgan takes off Rogzul closes the last bit of Torgan and Jorgan's wounds.

Wren flies high into the air and releases a wave of magic into his companions. In this world it is known as magic. In the real world it is known as pure caffeine.

Torgan charges forward to head the frozen-spider-horse-giants off at the pass.

Kraygan follows suit and circles around as he gets prepared to charge with his lance.

Fighting the Svathurim on open ground is going to prove far more difficult that the single one trapped within close proximity in the building just the day before.

The green Svathurim draws it's lance in a single hand and attempts to trample and run right over Torgan, though he gets seconds thoughts as it notices the massive yak blocking its path.

Stepping back it jabs its lance at Torgan.
