Once the girallon is secured, Kraygan thumps the cage and gives a satisfied grunt. But when he hears the fate of the beast, his beard bristles and he looks Wren's way. "Hmmph. An arrow to the eye prob'ly woulda been a better way to die then in the gladiatorial pits."

The Captain's suspicions about a saboteur do little to improve his mood.

"I still think it's a ghost or somethin.."

Though he grumbles about it, he makes no real argument for his beliefs, deciding instead to support his cousin's plan. "Ok. Hoff, guess it's you and me." He nods to the priest.

Keeping his weapon in hand, he waits for the Captain to arrange things.

Gather my crew while you watch over them like hostages!? Meanwhile while the rest of you go kicking in every door on the rest of me ship?

The Captain looks on incredulously. That isn't going to happen. You are free to look about at what you will but my crew has a job to do as do you. Setting them up on the deck like that will not only put us behind a few days but will cause a damned mutiny if they sense I have no control of the situation.

The Captain looks out the window. Damnit all to the hells now we are behind getting the Knights their equipment. The Captain says as he storms out of the room.

Wren elven *facepalms* as Jorgan falls again.

"He's like those fainting goats the wee folk used to bring to carnival," Wren growls, finally certain he is surrounded by idiots.

Wren's sneer does not easily fade.

"Is there a below deck here? A bilge? Where is the way down? I would inspect this boat from top to bottom as I want no more piddlespotting surprises, Capt'n. Is there anything you're forgetting to tell me? Because if I find another secret you've kept from me, I'll..." Wren lets his voice trail off, not sure what he's actually going to do or what he would do.

If someone points the way to the bilge, Wren will grab his bow and go for a look. He will cast light as needed.

"You coming, dwarves? They say that some river fey turn bilgewater into ale-ambrosia, and when you suckle upon it, your beard grows three inches and other races find your company tolerable."

Nope there is only the one entrance. Those are just different levels within the rooms themselves.

Who all is going down below?

have a look around. That is the only way down though. I think one of the crew would have noticed if someone had gone down there.

The Captain heads out of the room. Looking to Coxswain he says. Get the crew back to work we have to make it to the Knights before nightfall.

S&&~. I got too excited and missed that it wasn't my turn:
A little bloodthirsty, GM? ;)

"F@*$ing balls!" Vanderhoff curses as arrows begin flying. "Belay that last part, I found him..eh...her! Looks a bit like a man, though... Careful, traps be every!" He adds, then begins praying to Angraad. Suddenly a burst of light fills the hold near the woman!

Burst of Radiance DC 13: 4d4 ⇒ (3, 3, 3, 1) = 10 Probably not evil either. A neutral dwarf hunter...

After the spell, Van prays once more to Angraad, beseeching his god to help pull off his next move.

Jump!: 1d20 - 7 ⇒ (18) - 7 = 11

Limbering his legs, he tries to jump over the first trap and move closer to the woman.

And we didn't heal!? Tyrannius is laughing his ass off right now, I just know it. No wondered he was so eager to crit Van...

I will probably change the set of actions above, if Van is still up.

Haha no never bloodthirsty. I am never out for a straight kill cause that is no fun. I like this fight cause it is a hard decision with the traps laid out in between the group and a dangerous archer with deadly feats :). She is definitely evil so you are good there this time hehe

"Oi! I was right." Torgan says as the dwarvesmoot files into the bilge area.

"It's like one o' you an' five o' us. Might as well put that bow down." Torgan reasons with the woman as he waits for his kin to push further down, not wanting to be on the receiving end of the arrow tips.

He nudges his brother who avoided the snare (Huzzah for Bold Striding!). "Who's Skreed? Did we kill 'im?"

Bold Striding always works. Although this wasn't as great as Atum's bold-striding rampage.

That is awesome

The woman's face contorts in an expression of absolute rage as Torgan calls out Skreed's name and does not even seem to remember killing him.

YOU KNOW THAT YOU KILLED HIM! I HEARD YOUR NAMES REVERED AND CALLED ALL THROUGHOUT TRUNAU FOR IT!

Stepping her way forward she listens again for Vanderhoff and fires an arrow at him.

Perception to Pinpoint Van: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Van Stealth: 1d20 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (11) + 1 - 5 = 7

Miss Chance Low Hits: 1d100 ⇒ 44

Point Blank Shot; Deadly Aim; Favored Enemy: Dwarf;

Hearing the dwarves heavy breathing Melira fires at the area. The longbow's string lets out a twang as an arrow thuds into Vanderhoff's chest!

Responding in desperation Vanderhoff releases a blinding light right in front of Melira's face.

Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

She screams in pain as the light burns her skin and causing her to see stars, blurring what little vision she has left.

Dazzled Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Seeing an opportunity Vanderhoff leaps just as the ship lurches in the river. The lurch was just in time and propelled Vanderhoff over the trap.

Jorgan blesses his blades to make them heavier and deadlier.

Van would also like to fall prone after the jump to make himself harder to hit.

As Vanderhoof clears the trapped portion of walkway, he throws himself to ground, ripping the arrow from his shoulder. Looking back at his companions, then back to the woman, he shouts. "Shoot her! Shoot her!"
