Kraygan rushes towards the old Killin Ground Moonshine Brewery. Can't charge them as they are on the other side of a low wall. The dwarves screaming catches the groups attention

The dwarves yelling seems to attract the attention of a group of orcs from the buildings beyond being looted.

Kraygan's lance has 10' reach, plus he is mounted, which gives him a height advantage. Could he have stabbed over the wall? Or maybe do so now without the charge bonuses? Hate to throw away that roll, but I'll abide by whatever you rule.

GM Tyranius, can you describe the homes better? Low walls = soft cover? full? Are there full walls standing? Can we see all the looters clearly? I thought Wren was somewhat in cover next to his wall, but that might not be the case? How about for the other buildings?

Torgan moves up with his brother, a bit off-put that there are so many bad dudes around. "Save th'guard first!" yells Torgan to his friends.

@Wren and Kraygan- Yes sorry the buildings above are full walls with the doors ripped off of the hinges by force. The building with the guard feigning human man in it has full walls to the south and half walls to the north. The walls would provide same as the barricades. count as cover. Ignoring the cover if attacker is closer that the defender as with a low obstacle.

@Kraygan- Yea I would buy the height advantage and reach.

The spearmen you just hit has a greatsword. The other has a longspear; The half-orc with the spearmen has a greataxe

Kraygan charges at the low wall slamming his lance into the surprised man on the other side breaking his neck in the process while Torgan moves closer to the building.

Wren- Your AC is 17 with Mage armor correct?

Jorgan readies himself as Vanderhoff blesses the group.

Wren fires a precise dart of acid into the building. The acid splatters all over the man's shirt and armor. Screaming he quickly pats his hands over the liquid to get it off of his body as soon as possible, burning his hands in the process.

The orcs slam out of the building as they draw their deadly falchions.

The other two buildings of orcs don't seem to notice the rest of their clan rushing from the building as they seem preoccupied with stealing and pillaging.

Rishka grabs his greataxe in both hands. He swings it at Jorgan with immense force. As he enters the doorframe Jorgan slams his axe into the half-orc's shoulder.

Vanderhoff steps south and tries swinging his hammer into the doorway, but hits the doorframe!

Jorgan steps back healing himself as Hops rams himself against the wall.

Kraygan jabs his lance over the wall at the Freedom soldier. His lance clips the edge on the hard stone causing the tip to glance the man's side leaving him unharmed.

Torgan holds steady while Vanderhoff comes in like a wrecking ball. Wren tumbles past the skulking brutes greataxe and hurls acid at the floor.

The man looks up shaking. Ye...Yess.... I think so...

The orcs move in once more closing in on the group.

The other buildings containing orcs continues to remain unaware of the ensuing battle.

The Freedom town thug jabs his spear back at Kraygan

@Wren- Yup sorry. I have been doing it as arrows for this encounter for everything but the flavor text for some reason. It has been a long couple of days with little sleep. Your first hit was against normal AC and did hit as you were closer to the wall than the Freedom Town Thug was so it doesn't alter anything but flavor text.

Jorgan rushes to Kraygan's side holding pressure against his neck. A thin white light illuminates as Kraygan's wound closes slightly. Hops falters as Jorgan yells at him.

Torgan leaps at the orc embedding his waraxe into it's hip. Wren turns with a grimace as he begins to weave a complex incantation.

"Och! Damned spears, that hurt!" Kraygan spits blood as he canters back a few feet on Haggis. He then grabs one of his potions, flicks the cork with his thumb, and throws it back like a shot.

Yes that is accurate. That is the group of Orcs that heard your battle from the middle house that I am rolling each round.

Vanderhoff swings his hammer at the orc to his west.

Kraygan steps out of reach of the spear and drinks a soft glowing vial from his pouch. His wound fuse together rapidly before his eyes.

Vanderhoff swings his large hammer at he oncoming orcs, though he doesn't strike them he feels as if he is keeping them at bay.

The orcs swarm in around Torgan as one strays near Kraygan wielding deadly falchions.

Wren waves for Torgan to get out of there.

Wren waits and watches to see where Torgan moves to rather than be surrounded and in the middle of a spell that is about to hit his exact position. Wren definitely thinks that Torgan should move the freak back.

Since his lance has 10' reach, I believe Kraygan should have gotten an AoO on the red orc. I'll roll it, but let me know if it doesn't apply.

Guiding Haggis a few steps to the side, Kraygan lets his mount gore at the orc that came up behind him while he grabs another potion and thrusts awkwardly with his lance at the orc facing Jorgan.

Kraygan thrusts his lance into the approaching orc with a glancing blow. Turning his attention to the orc behind him Kraygan is in a bad position to strike the orc again with his lance.

Wren releases his breath along with a crush of rose petals from his hand, the final words of arcane magic that he thought he would never use leaving his lips.

Sleep, DC14 on the 3 orcs. 4 HD affected, starting with lowest HD.

Vanderhoff slams his hammer into the Freedom Town mercenaries knee standing in the doorway. The man collapses to the ground dropping his spear while Wren sinks an arrow into the man's eye finishing him off. The man follows Wren from the building clinging to his clothes like a child as they exit the building towards the sounds of battle. Drums echo in the air beyond.

The orcs in the other buildings remain oblivious. The orcs close to the dwarves begin to close them into a corner. Green incurs an AoO from Vanderhoff

Wren smirks as he shoots a looter in the back. It is short lived, as he realizes they still need to cut themselves free of the orcs to save themselves and the civilian.

Wren calls upon his pastime a 2nd time, this time creating a slippery patch of grease under yellow and green. Cast Grease, Reflex DC 14 to remain standing.

Wren springs over green (fail or save) to move next to the sleeping orc.

"We've got this! Come to me if you need some healing!"

Jorgan and Hops keep swinging axe and horn, respectively.

Jorgan swings his axe wildly at the red orc but doesn't seem to get glose enough with his shorter legs.

Hops ,fortunately, is a little more successful as he rams one of his short horns through the orc's side, tearing loose a few ribs. The orc begins wheezing for breath.

Wren calls upon some past knowledge and causes a small area to be covered in a slick film beneath the orcs.

The orcs seem to somehow remain standing as one clings to the wall for support. Damned elf needs to go!

Using the wall as support along with the breakdancing orc, Wren is able to leap over the green orc to get behind the group leaving Torgan and Vanderhoff to deal with the wounded civilian.

Haggis thrashes around, but is clearly ineffective. Kraygan guides him back a few steps, getting space to use his lance. Behind him, the fires of Trunau burn closer, and his rage burns brighter as well. With a growl he tosses back another healing potion, but splashes most of it on his beard, which only makes him more angry. With a roar, he then thrusts at the orc with his lance.

Vanderhoff swings wildly at the incoming orc, then grunts in pain as he is struck. Taking a step backward, Van swings again at the orc that injured him, then hisses a prayer to Angradd, healing some of his wounds.

Haggis thrashes about missing the orc as Kraygan throws back a bottle of liquid all over his face, making him look a bit rabid.

Stepping back he thrusts his lance into the screaming orc.

As the Orc steps towards Vanderhoff he noticed an opening and slams his hammer into it's chest twice in quick succession. His wounds slowly close.

Torgan moves to strike down the green-skinned orc with his axes. "Attack me wit' yer puny weapons, eh?!" the dwarf yells as he leaps forward, swinging both of his weapons down on the man.

If the first blow fells the green orc, then Torgan will 5' step and swing his second attack against the yellow orc.

Torgan heaves both of his axes into the orcs neck, ripping it from it's post.

It seems that both of the remaining orc groups have heard the fighting and have now dropped their belongings and started gathering their weapons. One group looks to be carrying an orc double axe while the other carries spiked chains.

The orcs slash at Kraygan and Hops with a blinding fury as they see part of their horde fall. The yellow orc keeps an eye on Wren.

He plugs an arrow into the sleeping orc, taking at least one more before he dies to oncoming horde.

Yes, the dice roller has definitely been on fire and I certain did not expect all three buildings of Orcs to actually pass at any point seeing as they have a -6 modifier.

Torgan slams his axe into the enraged orcs skull finishing it off as he moves closer to the building for safety.

Wren sticks an arrow in the sleeping orcs heart. It awakens but for a moment as sheer terror enters it's eyes.

Well, there is the issue of the DC 24 Fort save right?

I'm holding off to see if Jorgan takes out the Orc on Kraygan. If it's still up I'll give it horns and axe. If it's down I'll charge the last one.

It died. There was no way it could come close to a Dc 24 so didn't bither rolling it.
