Sifah Asashio |
In looking at the map, blue and yellow aren't actually flanking, so yellows later hits would have missed, right?
Sifah attacks blue twice...
Short Sword Main: 1d20 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 101d6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 1 - 2 = 3
Short Sword Offhand: 1d20 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 1 + 1 - 2 = 131d6 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1
Adamondais |
Adamondais continues to use his cantrips to try to help, since they are the best weapon he has.

The barracks, round 4
Adamondais' acid flies in new direction....scraping a hair or two on Serge's head.
--------------
Troglodytes go another round against Sifah.

Bite, flank: 1d20 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) - 4 + 2 = 11d3 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Blue clobbers Sifah over the head, but misses the rest of his attacks.
Red is doing a poor job, missing with everything he's got.
Yellow Lands a hit with his club, hitting Sifah for 3, getting her to disabled.

Come on guys, don't let another of you eat dirt.
Serge Foxmourn |
As Sifah goes down, Serge grimaces before slicing at the blue trog again.

The Dude reaches in and grabs Sifah by her belt and yanks her back.
CMB (reposition, bless, sick): 1d20 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 1 + 1 - 2 = 9 Sigh, was trying shove her into that spot between Serge and Adomondias.

Sifah Asashio |
I'd have moved Sifah myself several times, but she can't 5' step with the grease under her, and I didn't want to take any AOOs, so she's been stuck here. And she would resist getting moved with her CMD, because if she gets moved that way, she'll take AOOs from all of the trogs. Being at 0 HP, her best option is to swing away, and then take 1 HP of damage, rather than to try and move, so that's what she will do.
Sifah attacks the most damaged trog.
Short Sword: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 3 - 2 = 91d6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 - 2 = 4
And falls to the ground at -1HP.
Stabilize: 1d20 + 2 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 - 1 - 2 = 12 Success
Serge Foxmourn |
Get 'em with that acid, Adamondais! In all seriousness though, you've no more spells other than cantrips, and Dude is probably running low too... This is going to be even tougher going forward.
Adamondais |
I think acid splash is my best chance to help. I'd try to aid another to help Serge hit, hut there isn't enough space to threaten without walking out between the flanking troglodytes.
acid splash vs blue, -4 cover, +1 bless: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (20) + 2 - 3 = 19

confirm crit vs blue, -4 cover, +1 bless: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (13) + 2 - 3 = 12
acid damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Seeing Sifah fall, Adamondais renews his focus and manages to summon a more deadly acid blob.
Chyrone |
Adamondais' acid splash is dead on target, sizzling on the troglodyte's scales.
Not confirmed though, not only does it get cover, but if you don't have precise shot, shooting into melee incurs -4 penalty.

Trogs:
Blue goes full against Serge.

Bite: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (8) - 4 = 41d3 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Blue fails to land a hit on Serge, tough armor ftw.
Red fails to move, and falls prone. After an agry hiss, he stands up.
Yellow goes last, and slams his club into Serge's chest. His other attacks suffer from piss-poor aiming.

Oh come on..................
The Dude With No Name |
Sifah passes out from the strain of combat, and The Dude casts a blessing on the team.
Actually he did that a few rounds ago. I just remind people because otherwise folks forget it like they do inspire courage. There's nothing worse than being a bard whose contributions are always overlooked. :(
"Hey man it's just like that game with club and 18 holes. You just gotta be the ball man. Be the ball. Nananananana. Nananananana."
More guidance as the Dude tries to improve Serge's swing.
Oh and reposition doesn't usually provoke AoO for the movee. Technically if a person doesn't resist and you are strong enough you could just grab a person and move them bodily as if they were an item. I do it with halflings all the time. ;)
The Dude With No Name |
More guidance for Serge........he might get addicted to that burst of positive energy..
I like to think of Serge as my weapon. The Dude has a t-shirt that reads: 'My other sword is an invulnerable rager.'
Adamondais |
I hadn't realized blue had moved, so I thought he only had soft cover from being in melee, sorry.
"Why won't they die!?" Adamondais says as he moves to try to get a better angle to Blue. Could somebody move me one square West, please? So that I'm SW of the staircase.
acid splash vs blue, -4 melee, +1 bless: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (12) + 2 - 3 = 11 He might have partial cover, too. I'm not sure.

Both red and yellow came close with their clubs, though.

The neverending trog battle...
Serge Foxmourn |
Let's hope so :) I'm just comparing my success to my bloodrager, who does 2x +8 attack rolls when he rages with his claws, each 1d6+6. It's quite nice at level 1.
The Dude With No Name |
Adamondais |
Adamondais does something completely unpredictable this round :P
acid splash vs Red, -4 soft cover, +1 bless: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 3 = 8

Adamondais |
That's okay. The floor in the next room is weakened by acid that they'll just fall through.
Hahahaha! I should start a cleaning service :P
"Nice work, Serge! Ok, we probably don't have much time. Let's get Sifah back in here before they get back. Where'd that wand go? You need some healing."
Who has Dalir's wand? We should give it to Dude to heal Serge, and get Sifah in the stairwell room out of danger this round if we can. Can I use my turn to take the wand from Serge (assuming he has it) and give it to the Dude?
The Dude With No Name |
Someone drag her in and shut the door.
Assuming we have the time.
wand of cure light wounds v Sifah: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Then, on the following round, depending on who is worse off.
wand of cure light wounds v Sifah or Serge: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Chyrone |
I'll take The Dude's actions as retrieve and heal.
Dragging Sifah out is bit of a problem. To drag, the one doing the dragging needs to walk in a straight line with himself & whatever/whoever he's dragging.
The Dude steps forward, and rummages through Serge's pack.
[Item found: healing wand], after which he taps Sifah for 4 hp.

For when Dude heals me next round (if he heals me instead of Sifah), and I had forgotten this until now:
Fey Foundling - Whenever you receive magical healing, you heal an additional 2 points per die rolled.
Adamondais |
I guess it's a move action to grab Sifah, and another move action to drag her into the stairwell room. So I think Serge is the only one who can do that and get her back in time. I'm not really sure what to do with this round.
Unless there is anything I can do to help the others, such as getting out of the way or something, I will do the following:
Adamondais readys an action to cast acid splash at the first enemy he sees.
acid damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Edit: It just occurred to me that I could also use the wand. I'd have to use UMD (+9, so slightly below a 50% chance to cast correctly), but it would free up the Dude to provide his guidance spell. Just a thought.
