Eloisa continues her song. 15 rounds remaining. She grasp the hilt of her longsword at her hip and attempts to remove it from the scabbard but the excitement of battle is still new to her and she fumbles with it for several seconds. When it finally slides free she advances forward to join her comrads in the battle against the undead.

I admire you already - anybody who's clearly kissed more fire than a dragon and sets up shop in the roughest parts of Absalom is a tough and hardy man." Rod smirked, hands folded behind his back as he continued. "My dad could take lessons, and he was tough as nails. I only hope to have half the willpower you've got."

Nothing wrong with laying it on a tad thick. he mused internally, before nodding. "But I wager you're busy, so I'll cut the flattery and get to the point. Stationed dangerously close to this city is a fleet of undead warriors centuries old, awaiting a signal to come and lay waste to everything with a 50 mile radius of, oh, right here." Rod paused to tap the exact spot in which this apparent waste-laying would begin. "We'd like to stop it, but there's a minor problem: we lost the book with the signals to stop it... well, not so much lost as had it violently ripped from our grasp, by one Nessian. I imagine you know him; we'd like to discuss terms for getting our book back and preventing everything you know and hold dear from being sacked by a centuries old undead navy.
