Thorek recalls that while rust monsters usually have no distinct weaknesses, their fortitude is rather pathetic for a monster that feasts upon metal.

As you manage to defeat the Rust Monsters and prevent the collapse of the chamber, you find there is little else here to explore.

You proceed back to the entrance. Gulros is hidden nearby and comes out when he sees your beaten and bruised forms leaving the tunnel. He inquires as to what happened in there, and admits he is not entirely surprised some orcs came out this way. "If anything, I bet they were trying to get the drop on you because they lost at the arena. How they found out where you were going? I imagine Ploog must have shared that information."

He takes you to wherever you need to go to get back to Civilization, but remembers your preference to stay away from Urglin. After much travel, you eventually meet with Venture Captain Canayven Heidmarch. He inquires as to your full report.

Some Weeks Later.

The discovery of Jormurdun is one of the Society’s greatest triumphs in recent memory, and the Pathfinder Society begins laying the groundwork for the dangerous trek into the Worldwound to document the Sky Citadel.

Despite the monumental importance of the finding, the Pathfinder Society attempts to keep news of Jormurdun secret until its agents are in a better position to explore the site and be the first to open its doors. Once the Society does share the news in the latest volume of the Pathfinder Chronicles, with your names feature prominently.

Trilogy Complete!

Success Conditions
The PCs need to interact with Koldukar’s stele and secure the location of Jormurdun—a Sky Citadel deep within the Worldwound. Learning of Jormurdun’s existence and location earns each PC 1 Prestige Point.

Secondary Success Conditions
The PCs avoid extensively damaging to the ruins, such as breaking walls, smashing doors, or allowing the Rust Monsters from eating the supporting beams in the chamber. Which they had bad luck on the rolls to determine that.

Roll up them dayjobs, and I will get chronicles out soon!

Thorek drifted away after the mission. Bound by oaths to Kols, he kept his word on the secret of the sky citadel. But, with the discovery of Koldukar, the Inquisitor spent many a month leading Dwarven scholars into the ruins. His share of the profits was always meager (day job), as every crown made was invested back into the expedition. For Thorek, this was a mission of the gods. The history of his people was finally ready to be rediscovered. And while it might take decades, or even centuries, to fully understand the secrets of Koldukar, he was ready to lay the groundwork. At least, until his oaths to the pathfinders called to him again.

For this expedition, he extended an invitation to Boftil to join him. In the Dwarven berserker, he saw much of his own pain. He hoped that some time away from blood and death, and instead doing good for their people, might likewise help the damaged soul.

Boftil was also quiet and withdrawn after the mission. He had found it a particularly challenging one, not physically, well not more than most, but emotionally and spiritually. Long had he shunned his past and his heritage. Ever since that fateful day when he had lead that quest with a small group of his fellow warriors to dispose of a raiding party of goblins.

That fateful mission all those years ago had been going well but then ended badly after Boftil cornered one of the goblins, a nasty cleric of Zarongel, who begged for his mercy. Boftil, in a moment of mercy for the defeated foe, held back from the killing blow. His hesitation gave the cleric time to prepare a spell, incapacitating Boftil, who was forced to watch as the cleric proceeded to raise the dead and turn the tide of the battle. His fellows were all slain in front of his eyes before he passed out, but Boftil was left for dead.

Ever since then, Boftil had stayed away from his homeland and spiralled into a world full of drinking, gambling, crime and death. He vowed never to let mercy enter his heart again, embracing his rage and ruthlessness. Well up and until now. Accepting Thorek's offer, but not really knowing why or what he hoped it might achieve, he blindly makes his way forward into an uncertain future. What will that future hold for the gruff dwarf? We'll just have to wait and see...
