I notice others putting in dice expressions. Is there a dice roller function on the messageboards that I'm unaware of? Or are they rolling dice in front of the computer, then typing them into the message board?

INTRODUCTIONS!

In RL, I'm Derek Lane, a longtime D&D player and now exclusively PF player. Located on the West Coast (LA), I work for a French software company as a public relations manager. In other words, I talk to reporters a lot. I'm married and frequent weekend posting will be difficult, as my wife and three boys need Dad's attention.

I've played and DM'd a few PBeMs, most notably a long running al-Qadim campaign (Exiles of Zakhara!) and a Rise of the Rune Lords campaign.

Looking forward to exploring the Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment!

Apologies for the stereotypical attempt at a scottish accent, im short on sleep and couldnt come up with much else, so i just went with it.

Jory is the last member of Blue team, but I noticed he had applied to another PFS game as well. I'll send him a PM and find out what's going on before entering the Tapestry. If needed, we can go with five.

I put a link to the map in the campaign's short description, so you should be able to see it at the top. Hope that helps as we go through.

just a heads up. I am out of town and posting from my phone now. This is a pain so I wont be posting again till monday at the earliest tuesday the latest. If combat happens just consider me to turtle up and go full on defense.

I'll be out of town Saturday through Monday, so won't be able to post this weekend until Monday evening.

Also I wanted to apologize for the sporadic posting. I've been sick since Friday and trying to keep things going. Darn it for not being a paladin in RL!!

Just a heads up that my PC decided to stop operating as normal today. I hope to get it up and running over the weekend (not 100% sure what's wrong, but I have a friend who knows abit). I can still post from my iPad, but I can't manipulate the battlemats that way, though I can see them. This shouldn't be too long (I hope!), but I'll see about continuing on.

PC is fixed, will resolve things in the morning. Head and keyboard keep getting closer and closer.

Just a little confusion on my part, which is probably my fault as I hadn't move everyone on the map. I've placed the bodyguards on the map, indicated where Dakang's room is, and placed you all in the hallway leading into it. Feel free to move yourselves about.

The aasimar with the big red arrow next to her is the one about to head into Dakang's room. Jory or Alan would have to get past the other two to get there. Just trying to make it more visual about how you would like to proceed.

So Good News!! I'm about to get everything updated!! (finally, right?)

And of course Bad News!! Yesterday my brother fell off a roof, ended up landing on his head on concrete. He's okay from it (his fall was cut short as he dangled off the ladder upside down for a moment before finishing the fall). No permanent damage or anything, but made it kinda scary yesterday. Of course I made falling damage jokes to him, but he's not a gamer so didn't understand 'em.

Either way, it's all good now. About to get things moving again, and once again, sorry about that.

This is neither the first time he's fallen off a roof, nor the first time he's hurt his head fairly badly. It does finally top me taking a metal baseball bat to the back of the head though for head injuries (little league, learned the hard way not to stand so close to the batter when catching).

Just so everyone knows Wednesday don't expect much from me. I have work from 0430 to 2130 and have to be in again the next day so Thursday might be slack from me too.

So yea, I made a mistake. One I'm rectifying. If you notice in the top left corner of the chapel that little red curtain? Yea, the curtain that's MUCH closer to the doorway to Dakang's room? Well, it would've made things quicker.

So I counted out the squares and everything and compared them. Tiasar, you could be on your way back this round with the doused weapons. So since that was my mistake, feel free to retcon your actions this round if you so choose, or acknowledge either way.

Well im handing out doused arrows to everybody and my dagger to Mareck, then taking their weapons to go douse them. Figure the spell-less wizard should accomplish something this fight lol

Wow, Xmas is over! Gotta say this has been a draining one for me. Hope everyone had a good holiday season (for those who celebrate).

Looking over my PBPs this morning, I realize it's been a bigger interruption than I thought it would be. So going through and apologizing to all my games for the somewhat unexplained absence and getting updates in as applicable.

I'm getting a post up now.

just an FYI, I have not forgotten about this campaign. My mother-in-law got me sick with the flu so I am fighting that at the moment. Feel free to roleplay I will update when I get to feeling better.

Just as a heads up, Dakang was the last of the adventure. I'll be finishing up here and getting chronicles ready (Feel free to either say No Day Job Roll, or go ahead and roll it up in discussion, I won't send chronicles until that's completed).

If anyone wants to continue on for abit (for example, completing faction missions), let me know. Otherwise, just waiting for a response that everyone's done.

Ill just take 10 on my day job.

As for completing faction missions, I think most of us are done. Is anybody not?
