As I mentioned I'm having a lot of issued with PDFs (among other things) on this computer right now but I've a new one coming in soon, so if there's an issue, unless it's something i *must* correct, feel free to do it yourself.
If Ai's friend comes I'd like to start tomorrow, if I don't hear anything then I'll make a quick post in the Flaxseed lodge and I'm sure we'll have someone by Saturday.

Chronicle looks good. Thanks for the awesome scenarios. I have enjoyed the games as well as the role play that as transpired thus fare. This has been one of the better groups I have traveled with. Good luck on part three, I wish I had the time to continue, unfortunately I will be extremely pressed for time once everything is underway. I hope to settle in and be able to resume PBP at some point. I wish safe roads and pouches of gold for everyone!
GM Xynen |
Alright I've got our #5. Wanted to start today but it'll have to wait until tomorrow morning as I ended up particularly busy.
Jian-Wei Ai |
Thanks, Talon!
I decided I'd had enough of being a fox lady, and that it'd be fun to be a foxy lady instead.
(Oh god, the bad jokes, they're flowing into discussion!)
EDIT: Who's our number 5?
Tynat n'Tynata |
Hello all, Tynat here will be joining you for the exciting conclusion to your adventure. Thanks for having me along GM Xynen.
Tynat's character sheet is mostly accurate, just doesn't yet reflect the spoils from his previous scenario. I'll get that up to snuff asap and read through your previous threads to get up to speed. (You can of course feel free to look through Tynat's previous PbP thread to get a sense of him as a character if you'd like. Looking forward to playing with you all.
GM Xynen |
Tynat no reason to read over the past adventures. Since you'll still have them all available to you it's probably best to avoid any spoilers in regard to combat mechanics and the like. Plus this is the 6th consecutive scenario this group has run so it covers much more than just the Quest for Perfection.
Tynat n'Tynata |
Ahh, good point.

Just letting the weekend ride out. Will post an update in the morning.
Tynat your purchases have been noted, thanks for providing your pfs info.
Narika |
Xynen, character is updated, including wand uses from the last scenario. Were we somewhere that Narika could buy a major item from a chronicle? I want to pick up either an amulet of natural armor or a ring of protection. Both are on the Confirmation chronicle sheet.
Also, any advice from anyone which to get? I know bracers of armor are cheaper, but they don't stack with mage armor which I use almost all the time.
Jian-Wei Ai |
Okay, so my internet is rather messed up at home, which is making posting difficult. I anticipate it'll be fixed soon, but for now, just giving an update.
GM Xynen |
Going to wait until we hear that Ai' internet is working well again since this next bit will likely require a decent amount of communication between you all. Plus it's a holiday weekend for many.
Jian-Wei Ai |
Hi, everyone.
This coming week is Spring Break at my school, and it seems like a good time to take a break from pretty much every responsibility I have, so here goes.
I've been feeling very burnt out as far as my games go, so I'm going to take roughly 10 days off, give or take a couple. I've noticed it's had an impact on most of the games I'm in, and I don't want to be a downer or the reason a game isn't successful.
Please expect me back between the 10th and 12th of April. Until then, I *may* read the threads, but will almost certainly not be posting.
Thanks, everyone!
Aest
GM Xynen |
Conclusion coming soon guys. Moved this week and it's been busier than I expected. Sorry for the delay.
Ollo Hammer-song |
GM, sorry for my absence so far this week. My wife was in a car accident this weekend and we spent a few days in the hospital. Sorry for no notice about my disappearance.
GM Xynen |
Totally reasonable given the circumstances, real life always comes first. I hope your wife is alright!
Tynat n'Tynata |
Sorry to hear about that, but good to know she's not seriously hurt.

GM Xynen |
Sorry guys I'm around just busier than expected and doing a bad job at prioritizing my games accordingly, I'll have an update later today.
Tynat n'Tynata |
and those who don't are slow to post. I think everyone is enjoying being outside too much to post as much as they were in the winter.
Yeah, guilty. Sorry my posts have been sporadic, but I think I'm up to date.

I'll adjust the map when I get home, assume the mount is in front of Narika (directly to the right) and the rider is where the token is currently on the board.
Jian-Wei Ai |
It seems like this scenario is reaching its conclusion. That being said, are we interested in continuing on as a party? If so, what's the next likely scenario on the agenda?
Talon, of Kenabres |
I'm certainly up for it, but it does seem like we've seriously lost some momentum. I don't want to push people to forge ahead, though, if they're not really interested/engaged.
My vote: move forward. Next Scenario? I don't know. Would people be up for a Module?
Jian-Wei Ai |
I'd be cool with a module. I haven't played any, with the exception of the first 3 levels of The Emerald Spire in CORE, which shouldn't count.
EDIT: Our choices for modules on-level would be Fangwood Keep (level 4, could be a challenge), The Midnight Mirror (also level 4), Feast of Ravenmoor (level 3), and Masks of the Living God (level 3).
Talon, of Kenabres |
Could be. Some of my games have slowed down, too.
I haven't played any of the modules Ai posted. And if we can't find a module that works for everyone, I'm up for whatever. My PFS Tracker link should still be up to date, as well.
Ollo Hammer-song |
As much as I love the group and our dynamic, I have to bow out of any further games here. RL has really been hitting me hard, and things are not going all that great. I am sorry I have been slowing things down, but I am doing my best so as not to just drop from everything as so many seem inclined to do.
GM Xynen |
Unfortunately I think this will be the last scenario for this group, at least as far as me GMing is concerned. While I very much enjoy the characters that you all play, I've found that I really don't enjoy PFS as much as I thought I might.
Other than that I've also bogged myself down with more games than I can realistically handle and have been (as I'm sure you all noticed) extremely slow to post updates on this game.
This scenarios is likely to come to a close in the next round or two, and I'm glad to have played through all these adventures with you all. It's been a lot of fun and I'm glad you all gave this a shot, thanks for playing guys.
GM Xynen |
Going to give Talon a little more time as he may be able to completely end this with his turn. If not I'll post the next round summary tomorrow.
Talon, of Kenabres |
Sorry about the wait, everyone. I knew it was my turn, but kinda got mega-distracted.
... for a few days. :/
so sorry. In my defense, I'm training a new employee and my house is selling. MEGA-DISTRACTION!
