Rats vary greatly, even within gender. Biggest/smallest rat in a group can easily differ 300 grams.
The difference between male/female is pretty big. Not only do males have HUGE balls (no kidding, those testicles are massive), they can easily weigh 500+. Their fur is generally coarser. Once they are out of puberty and the sex drive settles down, males are often a lot more cuddlier and attention seeking.
Females stay active throughout their entire life and will look for things to keep busy.

I've been meaning to ask, is this to imply that Justin's readings are usually from books that are, uh, I guess we'll call it a number higher than "second-hand"?

yeah, they're into tentacles. Same with his spellbook that's written on other things, and his lord flauntleroy outfit. Ratfolk are the original upcyclers.
I think the worst may be over already. Clear your cache, restart your browser, log in again... repeat a few times while praying aloud, and things should become stable again. *crosses fingers*
My forum access has been an utter mess again. I'm too tired now to think of words and I need to GM PFS tomorrow. I hope to have some time during the day tomorrow
I was skeptical whether the 1d6 damage of a small-sized Nine-Ring Broadsword really was better than the large-sized 2d6, so I crunched the numbers and was surprised:
(Versus AC 14, which is the typical AC of a CR 2 opponent)
Large = 6.05 DPR
Medium = 6.0775 DPR
Small = 7.0125 DPR
Versus creatures with DR, though, it's better to be Large:
Large Range 5-15
Medium Range 5-12
Small Range 6-11
With every +1 to-hit my DPR increases by:
Large = +.55
Medium = +.4675
Small = +.4675
If I Smite Evil, my DPR becomes:
Large = 8.47 DPR
Medium = 8.36 DPR
Small = 9.405 DPR
So, moral of the story, the best buffs for me right now would be a combination of Reduce Person and Cat's Grace ^_^
Do we get any payment for eliminating the Sin Spawn? Dayo only started with 150gp and a bunch of his starting gear is no more =(
Assuming we get paid, Dayo would like to spend his time trying to build back up his paper collection. I was wondering if we could houserule some costs.
Stationary is 1gp for a 9"x6" sheet.
Paper is 4sp for a 9"x6" sheet.
Rice Paper is 5cp (unknown size)
Real world origami paper is typically 6"x6". Would you mind if three pieces of origami paper cost the same as two pieces of 9"x6" paper?
Furthermore, I was wondering if we could treat stationary as masterwork (+2 Craft), paper as regular (no modifier), and rice paper as improvised (–2 Craft). When it comes to folding Origami, I can't conceive of a tool, and so figured the quality of paper could fill that role.
Further furthermore, in Pathfinder, if you want ink that's any color other than black, it costs twice as much. Would you be fine assuming that the same is true for colored origami paper?
