Okay. Yoinking the next cannibal:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26 Far:1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + (1) = 9
After the attack I call out to Sasha. "Do you have the situation under control or do you need help?"

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

I say my good GM. What program do you use to do your maps and where can I get it?

Hmm, I'm mostly using images I find online, then copying and pasting them into Google Docs Images. It layers the images so that it's easy to move around the character icons on the map. It also lets me make the callouts for tracking HP. I should make another one at some point that I just include a link to in every post that acts as initiative/HP/condition tracker. That's a project for over Christmas.

Reply post a little later on, I've got a couple meetings this morning to take care of, but should be able to start writing what's happening before long.

The cannibal goes down with a bellow of pain, and the increasing number of bodies piled in front of the door is causing it to be difficult to move into.

Aerys tries to slash at the next cannibal around the corner of the door.
The Cannibal has partial cover. Aerys around the corner at the Cannibal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2, 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
...unfortunately her attack lands the sword deep in the doorjamb, and it takes her a moment to yank it free.

The cannibal tries to drag the latest felled ally off the top of the pile, drawing attacks from you and Aerys while he does so.

Aaron around the corner at the Cannibal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13, 1d8 ⇒ 5

Aerys around the corner at the Cannibal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8, 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

The awkward positioning makes it difficult to hit him, and one of the other cannibals manages to clamber on top of the pile of bodies to attack you.
Cannibal vs. Aaron: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10, 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
...but his scramble to stay atop the pile throws off his aim.

The outside cannibals continue to press their ascent.
Cannibal 1 Climb Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Cannibal 2 Climb Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Sasha bellows back, "One is at the balcony, and I'm throwing my last javelin!"
Sasha javelin vs Cannibal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Happy Holidays! YAY! I deserve a present, all the cannibals miraculously die and I gain a level and awesome 6000gp worth of loot:)

I attack again: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 For:1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (1) = 6 I look to Jask, "We got this! Go see if Sasha needs a hand!"

If I am dipping in and out of first person, I apologize. I am trying to run all my character's in first person and it is taking some getting used too.

Happy Holidays to you, too! Ha! Well, you haven't opened the strongbox that's part of your barrier yet, and there are going to be about a dozen cannibals to strip of their gear, so that should add up in a bit.
Initiative Order:
1) Sasha
2) Aaron
3) Aerys
4) Cannibals
5) Jask

Jask runs over to Sasha's side, and he stands ready to help fight. "I am hesitant to offer a wave of healing, as it would heal our enemies as well! But I can assist you on your next attack."

Your cut lands solidly on the cannibal, and Aerys follows it up with her own powerful swing.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16, 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

The cannibal in front of you staggers, nearly felled, but manages to cut out once more through sheer rage.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7, 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Behind him, another cannibal attempts to attack you through the doorway.
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2, 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

They each miss on their swings, and increased frustration is evident.

Out on the balcony, you hear heavy footsteps thump down the length of the balcony. He doesn't see Jask on his approach to close quickly with Sasha, and Jask stabs out with his dagger on the approach.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18, 1d4 ⇒ 2
Even Jask seems surprised when the slice cuts into the side of the cannibal.

The cannibal on the other side continues to climb up, and the cannibal below him starts as well.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Sasha whips out her Rapier and Kukri, and stabs into the cannibal.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Critical confirm: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
The charging cannibal is brought nearly dead on Sasha's rapier, and he looks incredulously at the cackling woman.

First person is just fine. You are up in the order!

Also, BATTLE MAP. Note that the -HP is from their full HP mark, not below zero. Klorak is dead, 5 are down and in the way, 2 are gravely wounded, and a couple have decent wounds.

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

This plan is working far better than I could have imagined. It helps the cannibals can't roll worth a crap lol.
I attempt to finish off the wounded Cannibal. Attack:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21For:1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (2) = 7
"Keep it up guys! Were doing great! We'll get through this for sure!'

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yeah, trying to get you from around the door, on top of a pile of dead bodies, and you being in a position where they can't bull rush you out of the way.

Your slice cuts him down, and Aerys holds her attack for the next cannibal to step up (she won't wait long).

Jask stabs forward once more to try and take out the cannibal on the balcony:
Jask vs. Cannibal w/ Mwk Dagger: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10, 1d4 ⇒ 1
...but the cannibal just manages to dodge out of the way.

Predictably, another cannibal steps in to try his might against you and Aerys, and Aerys let's go a readied swing:
Aerys vs. Cannibal w/ Klorak's Scimitar: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

...he cries out in pain, and replies in kind:
Cannibal vs. Aerys w/ Shoddy Scimitar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7, 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Geez, lame rolls!
...but his swing goes perilously wide.

The cannibal behind him attempts to also swing through the door against Aerys:
Cannibal vs. Aerys w/ Shoddy Scimitar through partial cover: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6, 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
...predictably missing his mark as well, once the doorpost gets in the way.

The cannibal facing Sasha holds back for a moment, as the other cannibal who has climbed the wall of the lighhouse vaults over the railing. Sasha launches an attacks of opportunity as he completes his risky maneuver:
Sasha vs. Cannibal w/ Mwk Rapier: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Sasha vs. Cannibal w/ Mwk Rapier - Possible Critical Hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
...and manages to stab the cannibal straight through a lung as his feet hit the floorboards of the balcony, and he collapses in a screaming pile.

The other cannibal, recognizing his peril, makes a desperate grab at Sasha while she attempts to withdraw her rapier:
Cannibal vs. Sasha - CMB Grapple: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
...and just barely succeeds in grabbing at her, then attempts to launch both himself and his captive prey off the balcony toward the clearing below!
Sasha - Free CMB to break grapple: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Oh crap. Time for Jask to save the day.
Sasha's eyes go wide as the cannibal, in a feat of strength fueled by rage and a cry of "Mother THRUNEFANG!!!!", they begin to leave the balcony.

Jask takes a last moment stab at the cannibal, hoping to catch and slow his maneuver:
Jask AoO vs. Cannibal - Mwk Dagger: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9, 1d4 ⇒ 4

The solid stab isn't aimed quite right, however, as the cannibal tugs at a frantically squirming and now shrieking Sasha up into the air, over the railing of the balcony, and down toward the ground! You hear, but cannot see, a tremendous crash, as though they have landed on a pile of sticks, and recall the pit trap at the base of the lighthouse on your initial stealthy approach!

Sasha has left the building! I'll track what happens to her separately, rather than play it out here other than the following:
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18, 3d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6) = 11.

The remaining cannibals are now clearly past their initial rush of rage, and are flagging in their enthusiasm and energy to pursue the attack. Clearly, they are not accustomed to enemies putting up such a fight!

Jask cries out, "He threw Sasha and himself to the ground, and they have fallen through the pit!"

Your turn! As a heads up, I'm near an internet connection for the next 2.5 hours, then will be traveling and might not get to internet access until later on tomorrow as I'll be on vacation. Hate to leave you with this kind of cliffhanger for too long, so I'll try to be back soon!

Updated Map.

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Ah geez, this is going to require some thought. This is where character and player must separate. It is smart to keep the door secure but at the same time, Aaron is fearing Sasha's fate and may foolishly try to do something about it that may endanger the others. I need some time to think about it.

No worries! Take your time to decide. Looks like my wifi here on vacation is secured, so feel free to send along whenever.

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Okay here goes
I take another slice at the standing foe. Attack:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 For:1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (6) = 11 I then look in the direction of Jask. "Dammit!" I force myself to stay focused on the foes in front of me. I have a greater sense of urgency with my attacks now.

I will likely be attacking another foe next turn so here goes another. 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23 For:1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (1) = 6 I will keep attacking in this manner everyturn until they are dead.

You easily cut don the weary Cannibal, and while the others appear similarly tired, they do not appear ready to yet give up the fight.

Aerys holds her strike until another Cannibal enters the room. "Jask, what happened to Sasha?" She calls out.

Jask, meanwhile, busies himself with a quick cantrip, grabbing the nearby small log the cannibals had tried to use as a grappling hook and causing light to appear around it. "Sasha, if you can still move, look out!" he calls as he drops the lit object down the hole. You are too far away to hear any effect.

The next cannibal enters the room somewhat more cautiously, clearly having spent the better fury of his initial rage. Aerys slashes out as he enters...
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 231d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8...cutting deep into his side.

...and he responds by swinging back at her...
1d20 ⇒ 16, 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5...bypassing her shield and cutting across her leg.

The cannibal climbing the wall has slowed on his approach,  and is but a moment from reaching the balcony.

Your next cut is enough to finish off the cannibal who hurt Aerys, and Aerys hops into the doorway to engage the remaining cannibal. "Go help Jask!" she calls out while she strikes out at the cannibal.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Jask stabs down at the cannibal on the wall...
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7, 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3

Aerys critical confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15, 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Her slice cuts through the throat of the cannibal remaining in the hallway. Leaving you free to run over and assist Jask, who is now facing the cannibal who has just jumped over thee railing and taken a weary swing at Jask...
1d20 ⇒ 20, 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
...Crit confirm: 1d20 ⇒ 11, 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5...
...it has managed to strike quickly and slash across Jask's chest, but shortly after you step up to strike. There isn't room to flank, but you can still strike.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23, 1d8 ⇒ 7

Your blow is enough to finish him off. Jask, clutching his wound, leans back over the railing and looks down the hole. "Sasha!" he calls down, coughing.

...

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

After finishing off my foe I waste little time in pulling out my hook and rope. I set it up and slide down. As soon as I make it to the bottom I search for Sasha. "Sasha! Are you okay!

Lot of actions there. If I'm not fast enough then I will take a leap of faith off the top if he has too.

You hop across the room littered with the bodies of dead or dying cannibals, some groaning in agony, others quite still. When you reach the railing and begin setting your hook and rope (Aaron CMB to Use Rope: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13), Jask speaks a similar cantrip and touches you on the shoulder, illuminating the area around you.

As you descend the rope...
Climb Check - Aaron 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
... you see that at ground level, there are several piles of coiled up vines tied to spikes in the ground, apparently for regular access to the pit below.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

You have no trouble climbing down the rope, and when you reach the bottom you see that Sasha appears to have reacted during the drop such that she landed on top of the cannibal. When you reach her, she is unconscious, and breathing shallowly. There is a large bruise forming on her head, and one of her legs is at an awkward angle.

The cannibal has clearly perished in the fall, having landed flat on his back in the bottom of this stone room. His head has cracked open, and though his eyes are glazed over, he has a slight smile turning up the corners of his mouth.

The uneven floor of this ten-foot-high cave is stained with blood and scattered with pieces of wood, fallen leaves, broken weapons, and in places, bits of bone. To the east, your light extends just enough to see a tunnel running deeper into the underground.

Cave Layout Map.

Aerys and Jask have taken the stairs down to the ground level. Aerys unravels a vine rope as Jask calls down, "Is she terribly hurt? Hold there a moment, I will render aid!" Stretching forth his holy symbol to Nethys, a pulse of white light emanates from half the symbol and a wave of healing energy washes over the four of you.
Channel Positive Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 6

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Sasha groans and stirs slightly when the light hits her. You are distracted by another reaction - from the opening to the small tunnel, you hear a "Harooooooo..." called out, and the padding of feet walking your direction.

From up in the hole, you hear a clattering sound, as though sticks were being run across a series of fence posts. Aerys calls down, "The skeletons didn't much like that, Jask! Aaron, you better get her out of there!"

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Kind of having a little trouble understanding location of the noise. Is it coming from Sasha and I's level or Jask and Aeyrs level? Second, would it be possible to climb the rope with Sasha over my shoulder? I imagine there would at least be a hefty penalty if it is possible. If it is to difficult, I may try and find a way through the caves.

Sure, there are two sets of noises. One sounds like it is coming from ground level down the shaft, the other is coming from down the hallway.
Carrying Sasha would impose a penalty similar to being encumbered by lots of weight (essentially, a heavy load): -6. In fact, given Aaron's strength score, you aren't likely able to carry Sasha around. Aerys is dropping down a vine to you, and you could theoretically tie Sasha up in it and hope that Aerys can pull her out.
Also, I'm really far behind in computing XP for you, and need to do so right now. Give me half an hour, and I should have it figured out. I'll post the spreadsheet I'm making for it as soon as possible.

XP Tracking Spreadsheet

Ok, the above spreadsheet should be up to date. Sorry for the delay on this. A couple things that are not reflected therein are the RP rewards for chatting up your companions. I'll get that in there after reviewing those notes. So you know, you are the only one who will receive Story XP. Still using the Medium XP track, and as a result you got to the Lighthouse a little faster than I anticipated. However, with your victories over the cannibals, your NPC allies have increased in level. I'm going to create Character Sheets for each of them, since they all now have different equipment and gear from their starting sheets. Hopefully soon.

Also, as Jask's level has gone up, I'll say that his burst cures an addition 1d6 points of damage. 1d6 ⇒ 1. EDIT: Ha! Well, it is one more, and that's better than not. NPC sheets on the way.

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

I move quickly to tie Sasha to the vine in a harness style. "She's tied to the vine! Pull her up!" As they begin to bring up Sasha I climb the the rope I set up to get down here. Climb1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

Once I am up I check on Sasha. I look at Jask. "Can you help her?"

Aerys hauls hard on the vine with Jask's help...

Aerys - Strength Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Jask - Strength Check to Assist: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0

...unfortunately, they are unprepared to help. When you arrive at the top of the shaft, you render aid...

Aerys - Strength Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Aaron - Strength Check: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Jask - Strength Check to Assist: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5

Following your arrival, hauling up the the rope is (apparently) much easier. Your keen eyes catch a pair of shapes running into the cavern underneath Sasha's limp form, try jumping up at her like fish to bait, but they are far short of her as you haul hand over hand to pull her up. In the dim light of the cave you see them descend upon the body of the cannibal on the floor, rending with claws and bites into the flesh of the dead man.

You look to the east, and realize that the sound is coming from the pen of skeletons to the east end of camp. Remember that they are there? They are likely running their hands or arms along the bamboo posts of their cage.

Jask raises his holy symbol once more, and a bright light flashes out... 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Though it is a minimal amount of healing, there is enough to stimulate Sasha, and she jolts with a start. "Ow, ow, ow ow, gods that hurt OW!" she complains loudly. "My leg is broken! Damnation by Asmodus contracts! Get me out of this open space!" Aerys and Jask lift her up and carry her to the anteroom of the lighthouse.

"Nethys is merciful this day," Jask intones when you are securely indoors.

"I wouldn't call assault by a dozen cannibals any form of mercy," Aerys curses. "Just set her leg so we can get more secure yet."

Jask gives her a cross look, but quietly examines the leg. "Het foreleg and ankle are partially fractured. A bit more healing, and the bone will be secured in place." He raises his symbol once more...
2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
...and this pulse of energy is sufficient to make all of you breathe easier.

Sasha is able to stand, and squats up and down a few times to test her leg. "Gah, finally!" she exclaims. "Now, my sword - my good one - is at the bottom of that hole. How are we getting down again?"

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

After the healing of Sasha, I sigh in relief. "I just want to say, that was one of the toughest scrapes I've been in. We pulled through. Victorious. Now we are a long way from securing this place but we are off to a good start. I say first we work on clearing this place of threats. Then we can get back your sword Sasha. Then we can contact the others a bring them to this place. From there we can repair the lighthouse and call for help. Sound like a plan? I wait hoping for a positive response.

Sasha begins to protest, but a look from Aerys calms her down quickly. "A fine plan, Aaron," Aerys says. "I agree, there have been few situations as intense. We have been away from the others for over a week, and no word to them since we left. Who knows what their situation could be like?"

Aerys passes the scimitar to Sasha, who takes it gladly. "Ooh, shiny!"

"All right," Jask says, "Then ought we take care of that rattling on the other end of the town? Or should we check another building first?"

I'll set up another lighthouse area map soon. Happy New Year!

Lighthouse Area Map

Let me know if the above doesn't come through clearly enough. There isn't much other movement.

Character sheets for each NPC coming up soon.

Aerys' sheet.

Jask's sheet.

I will post when I get home from my trip this evening.

No worries, safe travels!

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Wasn't able to get to the map :(

I point to the bone pen. "We should deal with the obvious threat first." I am making my way to investigate the bonefolk in that pen.

Hmm, should be fixed now. Sorry about that. Will reply more over lunch. First day back to work, here, so going to be a little nuts for the next couple days.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

You head east toward the skeleton cage, but as you approach you hear a crackling voice bark out a few words and the rattling ceases. Thick foliage makes it difficult to go around either side of the cage. You see that the front door of the cage is closed, but upon closer inspection see a back door standing ajar. It is quite dark, but with Jask's magical light once again upon your shoulder and your sharp eyes, you are able to make out five silhouettes in the darkness behind the cave. Four are quite slender, and the fifth appears bowed over and decrepit, and carries a staff.

The staff thuds on the ground, and a set of sparkling, swirling red lights appear  over the heads of the five figures. Clearly, the four slender ones are the skeletons, standing at attention a few feet in front of an incredibly old looking woman. A small monkey is racing round her ankles, and eventually leaps up to perch at her shoulder.

"Who be you?" she crackles out in Common, clearly out of practice with the tongue. "Where the Thrunefangs? Where is Klorak?!"

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Sorry for the delay. I am trying to get all my games started back up again and the research for the 9 games I am running is a bit much.

I draw my sword and point it at the....."woman?" "I and my companions have slain both Klorak and the Thrunefangs. All of them. You foul necromancer are next!" Wasting no time I lunge forward to attack. I don't trust her for a second. Not as far as I can throw her. Attempting a charge.
Attack:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 For:1d8 ⇒ 7

"Hurry, put her down before she can cast a spell or open that pen!"

Crap, 9 games? That's nuts. /  Regarding your attack strategy, sorry to be unclear on the placement of things, haven't had a chance to update positioning on the map. You all are on the north side of the pen, facing a closed gate. She (yep, and old woman) has called the skeletons out to the south side of the pen. The south gate stands open. The skeletons will be about 5 feet from the pen fence, and she will be about 5 feet behind them. Feel free to repost if that changes your plan, I'll try to update the map this evening when I get home from work. We can keep your attack/damage roll or not, depending on your tactics.

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

I'm gonna wait for the updated map. I am having trouble picturing the layout.

Understood. Just got home, will work out, make dinner, the hopefully update in an hour or two.

Ok, this link should give a better sense. My description wasn't accurate to what I could do with the layout. Just note that the bottom pen gate is open and the upper gate is shut.

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Okay if it possible I will try and acro past the bones to attack the master.
Acrobatic:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Hopefully I can put her down quickly.
"Jask keep her out of Range and use channel to put down the bones!"

Male Half-Elf Character Level 3 Class Levels: Rogue lvl 1/Fighter lvl 1/Bard lvl 1

Is everything okay? You aren't waiting on me for something are you?

Nope, sorry, just a nutty weekend. I work for a church, so sometimes weekends aren't as free as I like. I'll be off a little earlier this afternoon, and will have more tonight. Basically, I think your plan will work, we'll just need to roll up some initiative to see if they are surprised by your charge or not. Also, to see if your allies are surprised or not, as you might be running headlong into danger on your own!

Your quick movement spurs a variety of reactions.
Perception Checks:
Aerys 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Jask 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Sasha 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Skeletons 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5
Malikadna 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Even your party is a little taken aback by your direct assault, and the old crone starts back a step at your ferocious assault. The skeletons, not yet perceiving more than your existence, stand idly.

Take one free attack against your intended target as though charging, which will impose an AC penalty against your next turn if your Init roll isn't high enough: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15. Malikadna, the old woman, is flat footed until her next turn.

Initiative order:
Aerys 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Jask 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (7) + 0 = 7
Sasha 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Skeletons 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Malikadna 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
