Yea, this part is definitely weird but still kind of neat as racing Aspis down a mountain while trying to fend em off is neat. I agree that the damage is a bit high as it calls the dog's speed between 5-15 MPH. Though when you crash you are launched 1d4x10 feet so a intentional of 40 feet (20 avg) at that speed is nuts. his is definitely a difficult scenarion but after this weird fight it is all normal again. I promise.
Slamming into the snowbank with Sarephta, Zeno quickly stands back up and shields herself as four sleds full of Aspis agents are barreling right for them.
Spinning around Reavis is able to land a solid strike on the lead musher. The man grabs at his chest as the sled turns sideways and slams into a tree, hurling everyone on board into the mountainside.
Dolores ushers her sled onward and prepares a spell for when the Aspis close in around them.

Takkit lets go of the reins and lets the gods take the wheel as he turns about to try and get a clear shot on the Aspis Agents bearing down on Sarephta and Zeno.
The sled quickly goes out of control as the gods don't seem to be watching over the kitsune. He turns to try and get it back under control before the sled flips.
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
By pure instinct alone Takkit is able to bring the sled back under control.

The lone ranger grabs at a Bola and hurls it at Takkit, in an attempt to bring his sled down.

Sarephta watches the Aspis sleds try to slow down, and realizes they also have to navigate the incredibly treacherous ice, not always successfully.

You took 10 damage in the crash wit Sarephta.
Also good choice for target Sarephta :)
As the second sled begins to pass Sarephta she jams her spear into the ground. The musher doesn't stand a chance as he gets skewered onto her spear, tearing him completely off of his sled. The lone Aspis ranger on board looks back in horror as his sled whips wildly out of control with no driver and he is hurled from the edge of the mountain pass.
Cinderstorm closes in on Takkit and the young kitsune begins to feel a bit fuzzy in his head as he hears the word Break. A small portion of him wants to automatically turn the sled o it's side and come to a complete stop.
Takkit Will save DC 14 for Command spell. If fail you have to immediately Break on your next turn.

First of all, is my gravity bow spell still in effect? Keep in mind, my caster level is 5th.
His leg painfully twisted, but otherwise still responsive, Zeno limps a few steps back before casting a spell that ends with his body randomly spitting orange sparks and embers into the snow. Pointing at the nearest foe, he projects a spectacular magical pyrotechnic in the form of a tiny dragon, which spins and whirls through the air before exploding in the enemy's face!

It would have been impossible to miss my crashing. I did the WILHELM SCREAM on my way down.
GM Tyranius |
Gravity bow is gone as it has been over 5 minutes since the start of the fight with the Remorhaz.
Ending this nonsense the group focuses their efforts on the lone remaining sled. Zeno quickly snaps a firework into the ground. Aiming it she sets it off as it rockets towards the front of the sled in a dazzling display. The musher shields his eyes and lets out a scream. It is quickly silenced as Takkit and Reavis are able to stick the man full of arrows causing the sled to veer dangerously off of the mountain.
With the immediate threat over the rest of the journey back down the mountain is quite uneventful, besides the occasional crash due to this being you first time driving dogs on a sled.
You have plenty of time to tend to your injuries withwhatever magical means you want.
Drums and smoke signals swiftly spread the beastmen’s voices through the lower peaks. The violation of the holy lands, slaying of their brethren, and butchery of their most sacred creature has roused them to war
As you descend the mountain you spot gouts of thick black smoke smearing angrily across the pale sky and smell the scent of burning wood.

The waystation is under siege and its roof is burning. Its brave men rush out. Their clothes aflame, they drop and roll in the snow only to meet with the vicious fangs and claws of waiting beastmen.
Several groups of ragtag warriors battle the beastmen in various locations around the waystation. As you approach from the west you finds several on the opposite side trying to start another fire.
And it looks like the books specifically wants me to use this map again even though I can think of so many better ones. Ones with an actual building.

If you have a wand and someone in the party can use it without having to use UMD rolls just go ahead and roll the heals for your wand.
Of course on the prep. As I said before you guys had plenty of time to do whatever heals and prep you need.
What are the rules to help put out the fire? In my specific case, would frost bombs help?
No rules specifically. It is all circumstance based. If it sounds like something that would help put a fire out it will. i.e. throwing handfuls of snow won't do anything but a bucket of snow/water will do a little bit. Any type of water source will help stance the fire bit by bit. If the building loses 100 Hp it burns to the ground. A bucket of water will negate 1d4 hp of fire and any cold based spells effects will do their normal amount. If you do 100 points of cold/water based effects the fire is put out completely.

If that directly hits, the warrior catches on fire (1d6 fire damage per round unless makes full round action to put themselves out with a DC 16 Ref save.). If the bomb misses, it takes either 10 fire damage, or 5 fire damage with a DC 16 Ref save due to splash.

@Takkit- Yup, same map the scenario specifically calls for it so have to use it.
Zeno sights in the charging Ujugro warrior and slams a massive arrow straight into it's chest.
Dolores stays close by and readies herself as the beastmen charge. Seeing the warrior charge ahead of the rest of the Taer Reavis hurls a bomb at the beast. The explosion rocks the ice as the Ujugro warrior is sent flying to the ground, it's fur on fire as it smolders in the snow no longer moving.
Waving her arm to the sky Sarephta opens a portal to the heavens as a lantern archon appears, shedding warm and calming radiance on all present. Moving with a preternatural silence it sends a small wisp of light to Zeno.

Over the next several hours the Pathfinders are put to work helping to rebuild the structure, their magic and brawn a welcome respite.
Let us move onto more joyous occasions, shall we? Rysam takes the party into his private lodgings and pulls out a fine bottle of Varisian whiskey. He pours a draught for each of the Pathfinders and himself. Your help is much appreciated. I have heard back from Osprey. He will be here tomorrow. If you ever need help around these parts, you will always have a friend here.
Osprey arrives early in the morning, no one is sure quite when he arrived. Rising early in the morning you find Osprey looking over the bones in the commissary while eating a bowl of porridge. No one else is around.
Good work, stalwarts of justice. I heard that we lost Tomas to a Remorhaz on the mountainside. The Decimvirate isn't done with him, yet and we keep "precautions" for just such an emergency. Osprey never quite lets his eyes leave the bones as he looks them over.
You have done the Society a great favor and we are thankful of your service. He pulls a pouch from his waist and drops it on the table. The clatter of coin is clearly heard in the cloth sack.
Farewell, Pathfinders. I have a feeling that we will meet again soon. With that, Osprey puts his spoon down in the last of the porridge and ties off the bundle on bones, before standing. He bows deeply before striding outside. The cold air lashes about as he wild shapes into a long-winged hawk with mysterious markings about his eyes, his pack melding with his body, before taking off into the ice-blue sky.
You then realize that you are thousands of miles from the City at the Center of the World and it is going to be a long trek back.
Roleplay to your hearts content :)
Will have chronicles ready by this evening but first we need to work out. Looks like Raise Dead is 16 PP or 5,450 GP and 2 restorations are 4 PP each or 1,280 gp each.
