Riggs shakes off the Rats bite.

Dead rats are already removed from the map.

He leaps at the red rat and stabs at it with his dagger. The dagger stabs into the hay beside it ultimately missing the large vermin.

Jaren, Jasmine and Barral's attacks do not fair any better as everyone seems to get tangled up in the tight quarters.

Lovec takes the rats bite in stride as he returns it's bite with a pinch of his own. His longsword tears into the rat, not even giving it a chance.

The green rat shifts under the hay and bites at Riggs once again as the purple rat bites at jaren.

Barral forces himself to relax and focus on his sword form as he swing at the rat again ...

Jasmine moves a little closer, and swipes again, hoping to have more luck this time around.

Haven't rolled higher than a 4 in 3 rounds. Ouch.

Riggs takes a 5' step back from green, getting out of range of the rat.

Riggs fires an acid splash at the green rat.

Lovec turns and takes a stab at the rat in front of him.

But the cramped quarters make it tough to hit anything.

Riggs brushes off the bite once again as everyone seems to not be able to get enough reach with their weapons to be effective while the rats scurry about unhindered.

I can't figure out how to move Riggs on the map, DM. I just made him bigger somehow, lol. But last round I posted he would move back 5' from the rat. Can someone do that for me, so I can get a clear spell off without having to cast defensively?

Riggs again tries an Acid Splash versus the green rat.

Yup looks like the Map itself got deleted. It is all corrected no and moved moved Riggs back 5 feet.

And ouch on the diceroller. Though at least it is on these rats and not some creature that can hit you a lot easier.

Riggs steps back and splashes acid against the back wall as Barral and Jasmine both equally miss.

Jaren looks woefully at his bite wound.

Barral heals the groups various bites and takes a look at the wounds for any disease.

Barral- Basically the way that the heal skill works with diseases is that when they have to make another save again. You can roll your heal skill. If it beats the Dc for the disease then they will get an additional +4 to their save.

Filth fever has a delayed onset time though so they don't even know that they have it yet and it is 2 consecutive saves.

Where to next?

Riggs suggests heading north through B3. "maybe we'll get lucky and it will widen out at least."

Lovec moves to the stairway heading north.

Just to reiterate B3

Wide steps have been carved into the rock in each tunnel that intersects with this large cave. A five foot wide circular pit is the chamber's only feature. The pit looks to be the water source for the kobold tribe.

Heading further north are a few torches wedged into niches in this cave's rocky walls that burn fitfully. This area is obviously used for labor intensive tasks such as making rope from vines, drying meat, and tanning hides, but the working conditions are squalid at best.

In the room three humans cry in fear as they shudder in the northern corner as you enter the room. Four kobolds stand guard over them with spears in hand.

Riggs summons another shortspear and fires it at the closest kobold not in melee.

Jasmine moves closer to the Kobolds, taking shelter against a large rock for as much cover as she can get, while using the total defence action.

Are you guys not able to move yourselves on the map? Do I have it set wrong?

Riggs moves into the room and summons a magical spear from the roots in the ground. They quickly join and form a small barbed tip that pierce straight through the yellow kobold's heart.

Jaren moves in with his own spear but is not as fortunate as the kobold ducks out of it's path behind a rock.

Ive never been able to move myself on the map. Somehow I did make my token bigger a room or two ago but that's it.

Hmmm. perhaps it is because I have it on google slides. I am trying that as people have been able to use their phones with it.

Lovec rushes behind the pillar and cuts the red kobold down before it has a chance to react to the intruders.

The kobolds chatter as they stab heir crude spears at Riggs and Lovec. The men knock the spears out of the way as they turn in the cramped quarters.

DM, I am assuming the flanked kobold has been squashed. If not, I'll attack with my dagger to take advantage of the flank.

Riggs turns and flings a blob of acid at the lone remaining kobold.

Going to call the fight as Jaren one shots the flanked kobold leaving a five on one fight with a creature that can easily be one shot.

The group descends on the brave kobolds easily ending their short lives as the slaves are left cowering in the corner.

Jaren plants the butt of his spear on the ground, and leans on it while calling to the slaves.
Ho there, it looks like you've been rescued! I'm Jaren. My allies and I are friends, and can help.

"Well ... that's done." remarks Barral as the last Kobold falls. While Jaren sees to the former slaves, Barral will look around the area for any clues as to what has been happening ...

Riggs moves to release the slaves from any bindings they might have. "Who are you lot? Are you from the town? How long ago were you taken?"
