Ru suggests grabbing the Keeper, stripping his magical items, and questioning him downstairs out of the awful vapors. He doesn't trust the Keeper to make it through the night, so they need to figure out what he knows and now.
GM Tyranius |
Ruprecht grabs the man and drags him to the entrance of the building where everyone instantly begins to feel better as the man snores.
Ruprecht strips the man of all magical items and binds him just as the man wakes up with a start. His thick braided hair clatters as the beads lightly tap against each other.
I CAN HEAR IT COMING! He yells staring just past Ruprecht
On the man Ruprecht pulled of multiple magical items.
- Dagger
- Potion of CMW
- Ring of Counterspells (Contains Magic Missile)
- Ring of Protection +2 (Bonded item so nonfunctional for anyone but Keeper Myre
- Scroll of Gentle Repose (3)
- A key ring full of keys
Ruprecht Antillious |
"What are these keys for? Why is that monster trying to kill all of you? Did you summon it and lose control over it? Is there any way we can send it back from where it came?"
GM Tyranius |
The man throws his head back as he laughs. You fools! He spits. The monster.... THE MONSTER... HAHAHA. Try a GOD! We opened a portal to a god... and that god is hungry..... hungry for more power.
Keeper Myre grasps at Ruprecht's cloak with tied hands pulling the elf's face closer. Run.... it will devour all that summoned it and grow more powerful with each one of us......... Three dead.......TWO TO GO! HAHAHAHAH!
Lightning cracks across the sky as the rain intensifies soaking everything around.
Ruprecht Antillious |
"Ae there per solutions other than killing this psycho? I'm not crazy about just killing a helpless prisoner. "
GM Tyranius |
Will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Variel feels as if the man is not leaving anything out and seems to be telling the truth.
You can't defeat a god.... Fools! HAHAHA. Me and Crove are the last. ALl we can do is run for the rest of our lives until it finally catches us.
Seeing Variel's look at Keeper Myre he throws his head back. You can't scare me any more than I already am....
Variel Arivae |
Where do we find Crove you fool?
Well based on what we know I am going to suggest we kill Keeper Myre right here and now. Its not something Variel was looking forward to do but I dont see a better path.
Ruprecht Antillious |
Lets see if he gives us the info on Crove first. Unfortunately! I can't see any other choice.
GM Tyranius |
Because Crove talked us into opening the portal..... The fool had no idea.... hiding in his asylum. HAHAHA WE ARE ALL DEAD NOW!
Variel Arivae |
If noone else has questions Variel will gag and blindfold the man. S-s-so, how do we go about doing it? He whispers dishearthed. Should we draw straws to decide who gets to d-d-do it or do we all hit him at the same time?
GM Tyranius |
Coupe de Grace needs to be from a melee weapon, bow or crossbow
Ramsis nervously places a hand on the fearful man's body causing groups of small cuts to open across the man's neck. Keeper Myre lets out a pained scream into the rainy sky.
Are you really going to just kill me? If you are going to do it then just do it already! Either that or I just go on the run for the remainder of my life!
Do it! DO IT!
The man spits at Ramsis

Keeper Myre gets shot in the head with a crossbow bolt that rocks his head back just as Ruprecht runs him through with his spear.
Keeper Myre wriggles around on the ground as he groans in pain. His mouth begins to gurgle as he chokes on his blood.
He is surprisingly actually still alive at this point but if you are just going to keep Coupe de Grace'ing him I will call him dead and move forward.
GM Tyranius |
After a moment of gurgling Keeper Myre's body comes to a rest on the ground. A loud thunder rumbles across the sky, almost as if one of the god's himself is angered.
Ruprecht Antillious |
"Should we take his body and get out of here? Maybe his body is the key, whether he is alive or not."
GM Tyranius |
Ramsis does not believe that the body can be used any further.
heading as fast as you can across town to the east you find Carrion Hill's Asylum. A brooding structure that looms at the edge of Carrion Hills eastern cliffs.
The asylum is an oddity this low on the hill’s slopes, for it is made entirely out of stone. The front door to the building is unlocked and
hanging slightly ajar.
