He then gestures at the crates. "Only other order ve got was to check over things, make sure everything is in order. Mind if ve get started on that?"

I'll take another Bluff check for that.

1d20 ⇒ 17

It was mostly inevitable. At least this way you don't have to fight your way in.

Werner's request is innocuous enough, but something about the way he says it catches the man's attention. "Wait a minute... that was our job! WE'RE NOT GETTIN' OFFED TO-DAY, MATE!" He rips free his saber.

Initiative!:

Brak: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Chip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 +2 Urban
Garrick: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
Hingle: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Taerel: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Werner: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (15) + 0 = 15
Grunts: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Despite anticipating this outcome, Brak's reflexes can't match Alejia's grunts. In a flash, the saber sends sparks skittering off Werner's armor and his comrade buries his cutlass in Chip's belly. On the other side of the boxes, another pirate downs a potion and disappears from view; a fourth comes hurrying into sight from the depths of the warehouse.

Bite Damage (Rage): 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Claw Attack 1 (Bless): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 1 = 27

The Pathfinders brutally and efficiently put the last guard out of his misery!

Out of combat. I'll take Perception checks to search.

"Zipper, heel!"

Chip uses his Wand of Cure Light Wounds to heal himself and Zipper.

Chip:

Zipper:
Wand of Cure Light Wounds (x2): 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (5, 4) + 2 = 11

"Stupid gits. Why wouldn't they just surrender? Everyone knows you can't win versus a dwarf with an axe and his friends!" Brak winks to make sure everyone knows he's joking.

Then he sets to work looking around Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
