Discussion thread.
Hey everybody! Looking forward to another bout of adventuring with you all. Feel free to introduce yourselves and your characters since not everyone has met (thanks for getting started on that already!).
We'll be starting real soon. Upkeep business:
1. If you haven't done so already, please put a few of your stats into your character subheading. Please include current/total hit points, armor class (all three), saving throw modifiers, initiative modifier, and perception modifier. Feel free to add other stuff, such as per diem spells or channels or other resources.
2. On your character's page, please include a stat block or link or some other arrangement so that I can find your character's stats in some fashion. Stat block is easiest for me but if you have a preferred arrangement, that's fine too.
Secondly, a few basic expectations (which I think everyone's familiar with anyway):
1. A quick-moving thread is more fun for everyone! Please try to post at least once per day, and the more the merrier. Take your time and roleplay your hearts out (especially in this scenario), but do post regularly and keep the game moving. I'll make sure to do the same. If you know you'll be unable to post for a while, please let us all know here and consider giving march orders to the party (especially if we're in combat) and know that the game will likely still keep moving.
2. I think I've gotten pretty familiar with the PFS/Pathfinder rules over the years, but obviously I haven't dealt regularly with every class or situation. So if you are concerned that I've messed up somewhere in a way that really impacts gameplay (which is entirely possible), please feel free to raise the issue in the Discussion thread or privately and I'll do my best to correct the issue. It's all about learning!
3. Please pay attention to text formatting and the thread tabs. Use Gameplay for gameplay and Discussion for non-gameplay discussion. Use the [b] tag and quotes for in-character speech and the tag for out-of-character commentary. Use spoiler tags when necessary and open them
4. In combat, please add Round 1 or Round 2, etc., at the top of your post. That will make things much easier for me. Feel free to post if it is not yet your turn if (and only if) you are reasonably certain that your action will not impact others earlier in the initiative order.

GM Trex (et al.),
I am really digging this scenario. Good stuff, moral choices, less than clear allegiances, and creative maps. I'm doing out my planning, and I'd like to see if I can show up to Gencon 2015 as a 4-star GM. That involves a couple of things:
1. More GM time. After this one, I'd be happy to run one. I've cut down on my games, so I can give it focus. I suggest we trade back and forth so that....
2. YOU show up to Gencon 2015 as a 3 star GM.
Thoughts? If it's this tier, I'd likely run 0-01 The Silent Tide, though I'd run anything on my list.
Lol, 60+ scenarios in 12 months? I'm game.
Silent Tide is a 1-5, though, so how about 3-08 Among the Gods?
Among the Gods is prepped and ready to go right after this one.

I think it's safe to say that Sigrun is out. I've been lurking on some of her other campaigns, and it seems like she disappeared everywhere and the consensus is that it's probably personal or medical. I hope everything is alright... :/

Maybe DMS or P33J can help me out here... I'm currently ruling that a creature under the effect of slow can still make AoOs. By RAW, there is nothing in the spell description that says it can't, and AoOs aren't really actions (at most, free actions) which the creature would be able to do anyway. But by flavor and perhaps by RAI, a slowed creature wouldn't be able to make those quick, immediate attacks. I have to go by RAW here but I'm interested in your thoughts.
RACS (Rules as common sense), it should totally affect AoO.

Hey all,
So I'm going to be starting on a two-week solo journey into the Vermont wilderness starting on Wednesday morning (One of my job opportunities fell through, and living in the forest seemed like the logical next step.) My spidey senses tell me that we're nearing the end of this campaign, but it looks like I'd have to wait to start up on the next one until after I'm back. In case we're not done in time before I leave, will T'Orca just run around for as an NPC for the last couple turns?

Among the Gods can probably wait until you get back (or you can just jump in a few days late) but that will be up to DMS.
