Richard is able to take the hinges from the door. releasing it it crashes to the ground, scraping metal on metal that seems to echo throughout the entire complex.

As the door is opened a blast of stale, foul-smelling air hisses out of the chamber. A massive black window, spiderwebbed with hundreds of cracks, graces the western wall of this chamber, half-buried under rubble and twisted metal. Curved consoles of strange controls line the walls, with three chairs made of an unidentifiable off white material facing them. A figure dressed in red fabric of an unusually fine weave sits slumped over the console in the westernmost chair. Red-shirts always die!

The remains seated in the pilot’s station are those of Captain Yurian Valako, once the captain of Divinity’s recycling module. As fresh air fills the bridge, his remains, which had mummified, slump and slowly crumble away until nothing remains but a few brittle bones and a pile of dust within his armor. As this takes place, each one of you in the vicinity becomes suddenly overwhelmed with a series of powerful visions— flashes of emotion mixed with the sound of screaming and explosions, sudden feelings of vertigo, and the conviction that gravity has gone mad.

DC 14 Will save or fall prone and be staggered for 1 round as you experience the hell and chaos of the crash.

Alpha and Richard have very little time as they detect for any signs of magic. As his body crumbles away, Yurian's soul rises up from his remains in a seething vortex of shadows and crimson dust, coalescing into a vaguely humanoid shape with long, thin fingers that wisp away into smoke. As he manifests, Yurian cries out in despair and pain as he drifts forward to attack.

@Kharax-Yes as you are recovering it begins to manifest so you are standing and good to go again.

Alpha ducks to the side and slams his shield at the incorporeal creature. The shield passes through the creature minimally damaging it as it caught the undead flat footed.

Richard recognizes the undead as a more advanced wraith and dumps oil across his pistol's chamber to magically enhance it.

The wraith jam's its hand through Alpha's metal exterior and into his circuits.

His eyes turn to the cracked black window and another thought occurs to him. "I think sunlight might hurt it! Lewdon, help me break that window!"

Dropping his dragon pistol he pulls out the autograpnel from his haversack and aims for the center of the glass.

Alpha's advanced logic modules fend off the wraith's attacks. Kharax attempts to tear the wraith apart with holy energy but has a hard time getting a grasp on it through the smoke.

Alpha's shield misses but Richard is able to aim his autograpnal at the window. the spiked rod slams into the dirty glass, puncturing a hole through it as it expands and takes hold.

Richard blinks at the spike stuck in the window. Moving back to the door he braces the gun on a hinge and thumbs the switch to reel in the spike.

"Lewdon, forget the wraith and break the glass!"

Taking his club Lewdon smashes at the window as Richard pulls with his grapnal gun.

The window shatters smothering the wraith in dull rays of light in the hazy sky. The wraith shrieks as it staggers about.

Alpha's circuits quickly repair themselves. He slams his shield into the wraith as it begins to flee the room.

Shrieking in pain the wraith quickly flies from the broken window and out into Scrapwall!

Yurian's sidearm, a timeworn mind burner (9 charges) sits on the floor to the right of his remains; a red scatterlight suit, still in excellent condition covers his skeletal frame. Amid the dust of his remains inside the suit is an envoy's mouthpiece and a well preserved and fully functional piece of cybertech; a skillslot.

Examining the envoy's mouthpiece triggers a playback message which repeats itself each time the playback feature is pressed.

“This is the final report of salvage module Chrysalis, Captain
Yurian Valako reporting. Divinity is lost; the rest of the ship’s crew
is presumed dead or worse. The surviving crew of Chrysalis and I
are boarding a launch and will attempt an emergency landing, but
without AI control, the prospects of a safe landing are minimal.
I’ve secured an inhibitor facet—if I can install it into the Unity
interface, it should disable the AI’s security long enough for us to
reclaim control and perhaps even signal for help from home. I’m
boarding the launch now, and will append further reports after
our successful landing.”

mentioned in the mouthpiece recording, hidden away in one of the pockets is an inhibitor facet!

Once the wraith has fled, and the group has salvaged all they can, Richard sags into one of the ship's seats with the mouthpiece and plays the message a few times, trying to understand the strange words.

"Sounds like these poor bastards were expecting a better landing." He holds up the inhibitor facet. "Any seen something like this before? The message seems to say it can bypass some kind of security. Could that be what was shocking us in that other chamber?"

@GM: was there anything in the "shock" chamber that the inhibitor could plug in or attach to?

@GM: That message sorta reminds me of the holomessages from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. 'Hey, we are going to do something to save ourselves, but we probably won't live long enough to do it' or get ganked during the monologue, ending the message. Good ol nostalgia there :P

"Seems like something went wrong with something called Aye Eye, which prevented them from landing safely. How long ago did it crash? Well, other ruined ships, like the one under Torch, are older then civilization in this part of Golarion."

Would we know what an AI is? Technically, androids have AI intelligence I think. Just not sure if we would know the reference.

Leaving the derelict vessel behind the group returns back to the Redtooth Warren where Redtooth herself seems quite shocked and pleased that you were able to retrieve the explosives.

This is great! She whistles through her teeth. her tail twitches excitedly from side to side as she examines the contents of the explosives before handing it back. Now we can use the explosives at the massive dish to destroy the receiver array. Rumor is that the Lords of Rust recently disbanded the gang of chokers in a fit of rage. It was swift and merciless. Just a few weeks ago the place seemed like a much larger communications array and the gang worshiped Hellion like a god. They were known as the Thralls of Hellion round here. Little while ago it suffered a strange and abrupt loss in power and Hellion was not happy it seems. She shakes at the thought.

After resting for the night under the care of the generous ratfolk the group heads out in the morning to the Receiver Array. Reaching the site of the large communications array are wooden walkways that sway alarmingly in the wind 20 feet off the ground. Swarms of vultures circle in the air as dozens of chokers litter the ground torn into many smaller pieces and half-eaten bodies.
