Moving through the armory room, you find the rubble and debris makes it hard to walk. Opennig the western door, you see, those who can, a small alcove with a hall leading to the west. This area contains just as much broken glass and rubble as the armory. i.e. Difficult Terrain

Makkoa keeps his usual routine going. He is eerily quiet, keeping a continual Detect Magic going, making sure the group doesn't pass by or on any magical items or traps. He continues to hold his pole arm as he does so.

Continuing north, those who can see in the darkness, notice the hall stetches to the west, with an offshoot to the south that likely leads to the entryway the dirtpath led too.

At the west end of the hall, a goblin astride a dog-like creature notices the party, squeals in surprise and darts to the northwest, around a corner and into the darkness.

Going back the way you came, locking the door behind you. (Are you jamming the lock or just locking? Either way, Disable check.

Going back through the armory, you return to the double doors. Opening the door, you see stairs wind upward to the right, circling around a glowing wall of semi-translucent green stone. It seems the Azlanti tower was built around a core of some other material—a spire within a spire.

Aillig heard no sounds before the doors were opened to reveal the stairs leading up.

Moving to the northern door, the one the party heard a metallic clanking and chuffing sound earlier, Aillig finds he hears the same sounds.

Aiilig's plan is to be near the front only so he can get a clear shot with his crossbow - after which he moves back to make room for Soro. Joey is up front checking for traps, but if he's quick he can get off a sneak attack on the first round of combat if he goes before an enemy and can catch them flat-footed. I'm assuming he will probably step back after as well, leaving Soro in the front for the remainder of the fight.

Joey and Allig find the door untrapped , but as Joey begins to pick the lock, an arrow comes firing out of the arrow slit toward Joey!
