    Torvic is done! I dropped Guide and just went with Deepwalker alone.

    He's specialized for dungeon-delving, and while he deals damage fine for a full-BAB class, he's more focused on wasting the enemy's actions with his high AC. Outside of battle, his super-specialized focus on dungeon terrain should help keep the party alive on long trips, and Stonecunning + high Perception could help back up the Rogue on spotting a trap or two. Lastly, he's got a smattering of Knowledges to help out here and there. Overall, I feel he's pretty well-rounded.

    I put him together over multiple sessions during a busy work week. I don't think I missed anything, but if I did please let me know and I'll correct it right away.

    Ok, all finished here. I had to fix a bunch of my crunch, I guess I'm really bad at math when whiskey is involved.


    I have to admit I am not sure if I will be able to meet the deadline... But I still wanted to dot this Recruitment. I was in the other Emerald Spire game that crumbled, and I am a sucker for super dungeons.

  • Dotting this, do we need another submission for an arcane or divine caster? I can't decide which I wanna make...
    Oh, and if I went wizard + thief dip -> arcane trickster, would I get the +2 spells per level? (Iirc, by RAW I wouldn't)

    More information, please. I'm not familiar with the issue.


    for the arcane-trickster, for "spells per day" you get "+1 level of the existing class"


    In other words, you get the spell slots as though you were leveling in wizard, but it doesn't say that you get spells known.

    "Spells Known" is a term usually applied to spontaneous casters, like a sorcerer. The wizard-turned-arcane-trickster would get additional spells per day, but not new spells to add to his spellbook.


    Folks, please remember that this campaign uses Background Skills. About half of you don't have any of those listed.

    For what its worth, I thought I'd point out a recruitment thread you may not have seen for an ongoing Emerald Spire game HERE. Something to think about for anyone whose character doesn't make it into this game or who just feels as though they'd like to jump into an established gaem.

    Background:

    Born in Kyonin nearly 150 years ago, Ellyrion was never interested in studying swordplay or archery. His interests lay in the study of the arcane. Over the years his studies also included ancient ruins and underground civilizations. He has traveled Avistan in search of libraries with books about Azlant and Thassilon. Now, books are not enough, Ellyrion has begun searching for Azlanti and Thassilonian site to explore in order to learn more. Of late he has been working for Falandra Nolm at the Bindery while trying to find someone foolish enterprising enough to explore the Azlanti ruins of Echo Wood, and perhaps even the Emerald Spire.

    Appearance:

    At six and a half feet tall and 120 pounds, Ellyrion is fairly tall and gaunt. His plain brown hair is pulled back into a ponytail. His clothing is plain and unassuming.


    GM Tarondor, I made a slight amendment to Zaia. She is now a straight cleric, with the Luck and Travel domains. Thanks!


    If I haven't forgotten anything important, Grilnik is ready for the spotlight (his background skills are appraise and profession(Deacon of Abadar) if having 5 out of 3 skill points spent didn't give it away...)
