Since we're tracking, I'd say option 1...time may be of the essence and that way we can progress and the others still have time to catch up...

The Waking Rune

So I think what we've got is Flyn, Qatala and Carrick going ahead, with Qatala employing mage armour on herself, Carrick and Dorje.
Dorje waits for Kramac to get his armour - and can help him put it on. The two of them would then follow on.
Kramac, I think it's up to you to confirm. Carrick has asked if you come to the summer house straight away, but Dorje is willing to wait for you.

Dorje never said he would wait.

I just asked is there a option to wait for Kramac.

OK, thanks for clarifying. I made a wrong assumption. I will wait to see what Kramac wants to do now. Kramac if you do go for your armour it looks like you'll be on your own.

The Waking Rune

Rather than risk separating, the Pathfinders elect to travel as one group.

You go quietly along the path towards the ruins of the Blakros summer house. Shafar's mercenary guards are patrolling the pavilions, but there are no guards on the route to the southwest.

Once you get on that path, you pick up signs of passage. A lone walker came this way very recently. The walker is wearing inappropriate footwear, judging by the indentations in the ground. You follow the tracks to the ruins.

The summer home’s charred and crumbled outer walls still stand, framing the bare, scorched earth and collapsed tiled roof within. The ruin overlooks the sea from atop a steep granite cliff. The view of the setting sun is magnificent, and romantic. If Michellia came here for this, you would understand why.

You find tracks left by a humanoid woman (or a lightweight male) dragging what appears to be a body. These new tracks are made by booted feet. The dainty tracks left by the inappropriate footwear are gone. There's a Survival check to find this, but 4 of you are trained in Survival and would pass the DC by taking 10 so I'm moving you right ahead. The new tracks lead you to a natural break in the cliff face and a path leading down to a private, secluded beach on the western coast of the island.

You follow the tracks down the path.

It has taken you about 50 minutes to reach this point, so your Mage Armour and Barkskin spells are still up, but Qatala's See Invisibility has expired.

As you reach the beach, you see an ulfen longboat landed on the shore. Several figures are moving around by the boat. You can make out four men, and Michellia Blakros.

GM dice:
watching the path: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 ?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

You see a glint of light from one of the men.

spellcraft DC 23 including distance modifier:
Purple Ulfen casts Shield of Faith.

One of the Ulfen calls out, and Michellia Blakros notices you. She speaks to you, whilst adjusting her hair.

"Oh! Uh, hello. It's alright. Nothing to worry about, really. This is my friend Olaf. It's lucky he was around! My fool of a twin Eleanir lured me out to the old summer house, told me she wanted to reminisce about the old days but she didn't want to disturb the wedding ceremony. Then she attacked me! Tried to beat me over the head! But Olaf saved me. He overpowered her, and he has kindly agreed to take her back to Absalom. The family will deal with this. Just hold on there a moment, and I'll follow you back to the wedding party."

sense motive DC 22:
Something's not right. Michellia sounds nervous, and her hair is wrong. She ought to know you by your names too, or at least recognise you as pathfinders.

We are on Slide 4.

Dorje and Flyn:You have not been noticed.
Kramac and Carrick: You may make stealth checks (including stealth for Kuuma) if you would want to try to approach unseen.
Qatala has been spotted, perhaps the glint of the setting sun reflecting off her gold jewelry or adamantine weapon.
I've used the most recent stealth checks (since you started tracking) for everyone who has already rolled stealth.

The Waking Rune

Olaf responds, in a thick ulfen-accent, but addressing Michellia: "You said nobody would notice! This was শুরু থেকে একটি খারাপ পরিকল্পনা!"

aklo:
"...a bad plan from the start!"

Olaf, the largest and closest of the Ulfen, switches to a strange and alien language mid sentence. He swallows something, discarding a container too small for you to identify. His men ready large rounds shields and handaxes.

The jig is up, and Olaf means to solve the problem his own way! Olaf is initiating combat, but Flyn and Dorje get a surprise round. Carrick also gets a surprise round action if he makes DC19 on a Stealth check.

Olaf rises 5 feet into the air. As he moves, he seems to be flickering, as though he wasn't entirely present in the world.

Know. Arcana DC 17:
He is using Time Flicker, a Revelation known to Oracles.
This effect gives him Concealment, for a 20% miss chance. He cries out: "ফুল! আপনি দুনিয়া দুনিয়া! গ্রেট গ্রোইটাস আমাকে দেখিয়েছেন আকাশ ছড়িয়ে পড়বে এবং সমুদ্র গলে যাবে! ভূমিদের ভূমিকম্পের আঘাতে আচ্ছাদিত করা হবে! শুধু আমি আমাদের রক্ষা করতে পারি!"

aklo:
"Fools! You doom the world! Great Groetus has shown me. The skies will burn and the seas will boil! The lands will be covered in a plague of demons! Only I can save us!"

Flyn and Dorje you have surprise round actions. Carrick if you can make a DC19 stealth check you get a surprise round action too.

Olaf's concealment effect, 20%: 1d100 ⇒ 12

The arrow appeared to be on target, but sailed right through as though Olaf wasn't there. The concealment effect works like the Blur spell.

Dorje creeps forwards through the dune grasses.

Round 1

Olaf flies towards you (he's 5 feet above the ground). He's screaming at you as he pulls a greataxe wreathed in frost from his back. "শুধু আমি আমাদের রক্ষা করতে পারি! আমার বীজ কালো গোলাপের বাগান বাড়তে হবে! ফলন, বা সব হারিয়ে গেছে!"

aklo:
"Only I can save us! My seed must grow in the garden of the black roses! Yield, or all is lost!"

Olaf gestures, and a BOOM! reverberates through the air.

Spellcraft DC17:
Olaf cast Sound Burst.

Flyn, Qatala and Kramac: You each take boom!: 1d8 ⇒ 5 sonic damage, and need to make a DC14 Fort save or be Stunned for one round. (If you are stunned you drop whatever you were holding in your hands, if anything).

The three ulfen warriors advance, working themselves up into a berserk frenzy. All three are Raging.

Blue ulfen double moves. Red and Green ulfen warriors both charge at Qatala. Red passes underneath Olaf, who is flying.

red ulfen vs Qatala: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 HIT vs your flat-footed AC I think.
green ulfen vs Qatala: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 Miss.

Michellia (or is it Eleanir?) screams "Olaf you madman! Nobody was supposed to get hurt!" She jumps into the longship and hides.

The bold may act!

Dorje, I am running block initiative. Everyone whose name is listed in bold may post their actions. If we need to ret-con because circumstances change mid-round then we do that, but I find that block initiative makes combat go much faster in pbp. The pathfinders go into battle!

Kramac and Kuuma, like the well-drilled team that they are, engage Blue Berserker. Kramac takes up position whilst Kuuma jumps in and pulls the unwitting ulfen to the ground. Neither Kramac nor Kuuma is gaining any benefits from flanking, because the enemy has improved uncanny dodge; however you both still hit and Kuuma tripped.

Carrick stabs at Reckless Red, drawing blood.

Flyn launches two more arrows at mad Olaf, both of them finding their mark.

Qatala, taken aback by the ferocity of the ulfen party's assault, recovers her composure and adopts her defensive crane stance. She dodges and deflects the berserkers' aggressive attacks, turning their force against them. Since Kuuma trips Blue before you act, I will apply your second trip attempt (and final attack) against Green instead. That trip will succeed, so you'll have taken 2 AoOs. Qatala pitches the two charging ulfen into the sand, and kicks them when they're down.

Sorry slow to post my evening got blown up by an emergency plumbing repair, which did not go as smoothly as it should have.

Lay on Hands: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7

The Waking Rune

Emergency plumbing takes priority!

Berserk Blue did not get stopped by AoOs so Kramac took the damage, and will receive Carrick's healing ministrations.

Kramac and Kuuma take advantage of the opening left by their opponent, but are then unable to press their advantage as Berserk Blue strikes back.

Carrick lands a blow on Gung-ho Green before dividing his attention. Olaf seems to be the object of Carrick's focus, but he first conjures healing powers to help Kramac.

Flyn keeps his focus on Olaf and lands two more hits.

Qatala maintains her defenses, augmenting her graceful movements with sweeping, swift flourishes of her adamantine chain whip. She first strikes Gung-ho Green again, then puts him back down on the ground.

Dorje misses the opportunity to punish Reckless Red, but makes up for it with a brutal flurry of blows that all connect.

End of round 2

The berserkers are made of strong stuff, and although they take multiple blows they are still in the fight. Olaf is not pleased to be attracting so many arrows.

Round 3

Olaf screams again: "আপনি আসন্ন বিধ্বসরণ প্রতিরোধ করতে পারবেন না! আপনার নৃশংসতা পৃথিবী ধ্বংস হবে!"

aklo:
"You cannot prevent the coming devastation! Your folly will doom the world!"

Olaf provokes and AoO from Dorje, but strikes a terrible blow against Flyn.

Reckless Red moves to flank Qatala. Having struck her in his initial charge, he feels he might do better against her than against Dorje. axe vs Qatala, power attack, flank: 1d20 + 11 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 11 - 2 + 2 = 12damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 He embarrasses himself there.

Gung-ho Green is fed up of being on the ground, so stands up again. Provokes AoO from Qatala. He strikes back at Qatala. axe vs Qatala, power attack: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 11 - 2 = 26damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 Qatala's defense are too strong.
