Liking Delia's suggestion of concentrating everyone's efforts on the east wall, Deth steps directly to the east, readying his buckler and disappearing behind the wall. He yells out. "There are two of them over here!" He swings at the one directly in front of him.

Unable to dispel the image of the wall and not keen on being attacked from behind, Aenon moves to the western wall and gets ready launch a vicious kick should anything come flying through it.

Momo steps five feet to the South, aiming an arrow at the orange Skum. "Sorcery! All of it! These lands are so different from what I expected! Hide Scuttles! Bury yourself in my pack!" Momo unleashes the arrow. She furrows her brows in concentration, one ambush after another!

Reeling from the skum onslaut of claws and teeth Deth stumbles backwards through the wall and casts a curing spell on himself. "Yes, its a wretched hive of skum and villianry!" he says in response to Momo's exclamation.

As the skum crumbles to the ground, Aenon turns to see his comrades fighting through what seems like a solid wall. Seeing no other way to aid them and trusting their word about the illusions he takes a deep breath and dashes at the wall, bracing for the inevitable impact. As he stumbles out the other side of the wall, he barely avoids a trident thrust his way and makes his way behind the skum, sending a vicious kick their way.

I'm hoping you're allowed to move through illusions like that. Anyway, a move and an attack against the green skum.

This room has a simple stone floor and undecorated gray stone walls. The stark nature of the room is interrupted only by a large circle of silvery metal set into the floor in the corner of this room. One wall of this room is mostly transparent, providing a view of a larger, adjacent chamber.

Deth uses the wand to enchant some berries and consumes 5 of them, and hands 2 to Delia. "Amazing shot." he says to Momo, grateful for her killing the alpha skum. He picks up the one of the tridents and after trying it out a few times, he puts it back down, finding it a little too unwieldy. He does pick up a Potion. "I'm completely out of healing except for the goodberries and my healer's kit." He pauses. "If we're going to continue, I'm going to make my skin as hard as bark."
This leaves Deth with 2 berries. I'm willing to continue, but if we do, Deth casts Barkskin on himself.

P3. Main Hall
A curving ramp along the northern wall of this chamber ascends to the floor above. The east and west walls each have a single door, and a double door stands in the southern wall. Murals cover the east and west walls in this space, depicting kind-looking human adult figures smiling benevolently at children. The children, for their part, are smiling and appear healthy and happy. The figures, both adults and children, have tiny jewels orbiting around their heads in shining rings that resemble halos. Bold words are painted above the door. The Azlanti text at the top of the murals reads, “Ours is the Great Work to see humanity achieve its greatest potential.”

DC 12 Perception:

You notice a panel in the north wall that contains some kind of clockwork mechanism.

DC 20 Perception:

There are panels in the ceiling that seem to indicate some sort of trap in this room.

DC 25 Perception:

There is an AUTO-TARGETING CROSSBOW TRAP here. The trap is magical and mechanical in nature combining the effects of an arcane eye and clockwork machinery. It is able to target anyone in the room. There is also a small hidden keyhole near the south door as well.

As Aenon spots the murals, he sighs and, for a moment, stands reminiscing about his home far away. Catching himself, he shakes his head and points out the panels in the roof.

Momo doesn't notice much but nods to Nox's observations. "Well, if there is a trap, I need to be able to see it to disable it. Maybe we should spend extra time meticulously examining the room before continuing."

"If you look closely up there Momo" Aenon says and points to the panels in the ceiling. "I'm guessing the two doors are trapped, but that's about as far as my knowledge of traps gets me."

Momo, having no idea what the trap is, looks towards the ceiling. She looks for a trigger that could activate a trap. Sorcerous place! I don't like it here. Fake walls, sentient caltrops, invisible traps...

"I just don't see it. What makes you think the ceiling is part of it? Here. If we all stand safely outside, I'll shoot an arrow from the entrance. That way, we can close the doors if it gets too crazy."

Momo pulls her mechanical companion out of her pack and gently sits the arachnid on the floor. "Scuttles, do you know anything about this place? Scuttle towards me for yes. Scuttle outside for no." Afterwards, Momo gently picks up Scuttles and lovingly returns her companion to her pack.

Momo retreats to stand safely outside so she can fire off an arrow. If waits for the others before shooting (unless they prefer to stay inside.)
