Okay, so I was about to do evil things with the daylight spell, and I realized that the bloodlink description on the web did not indicate that you guys may suffer from light blindness. You have no way of knowing you are vulnerable that way, and I'm not going to make you suffer from a trait you didn't know you have. You can swap out that spell if you want Lyr.
More importantly, Lyr didn't surprise them and so wouldn't have the free action. Saphren did since he was invisible, but Lyr is right there in the doorway.

Thank you! That's some good DMing... unlike the game over where, after my character specifically called out to watch out for zombies in cages, and I stated that I couldn't tell from the map where the cage doors were while I was moving my token, the DM ignored me and instead had a zombie charge through a door and crit me. Because nothing says "fun" like the DM knowingly doing things to screw your character after you tell the DM that you aren't able to make an informed decision! :D

Huh. I thought we specifically did not suffer from light blindness since we weren't actually drow. I read the description of the Bloodlink and thought that was one of the little perks.

And so there's two pieces of information. One is the magic item description, and another is a sidebar with the interesting stuff.
The sidebar includes something I Have missed which you can get in exchange for suddenly realizing you have light blindness - everyone gets SR 19.

I just realized that Doors to Everywhere only works with doorways that are in my line of sight (next level that limitation ends).

Loot: The only thing for Saphren that is an upgrade is the +2 ring. He has a +1. But Brenna should have first rights to anything AC IMHO as Saphren's goal is to not stand and fight.
Too bad he is not proficient with that scimitar. It is nice.
He will take some, or all of the poisoned bolts, if no one else needs any. Can't have too many poisoned bolts. :P

So, we are pretending to be drow. If we get found out we will be killed IF we are lucky and the Elves who set up this ploy/mission will be sad. The world as we know it might also end.
I think we can do noting to jeopardize that. I think that means we can not come clean to any potential ally or drow enemy. The importance of the mission seems to deny us that option. Anyone we tell might betray us or be tortured/mind controlled.
That said, if we can do things to weaken the drow overall, or cause more chaos, without implicating us, I am all for that.

A reasonable way to determine her worldview would be just questions and sense motive checks. Keep in mind that you've got a captive on an hours-long walk in total isolation.

I'm not sure if I've made my plan clear or not, but it's to buy a copy of Sculpt Corpse so Besh can learn it and use it to copy the Drider's features onto recently dead drow or drider heads.

The fact that Sculpt Corpse requires a will save is why I wanted to buy one copy of the scroll, have Besh learn it and cast it zirself.
Besh's own DC are way higher than scroll DCs.

Saphren levels to 9. He gains a total of 7 HP (5+1 con bonus +1 Favored Class bonus).
His fort and will saves both increase by 1.
His Danger Sense goes up to +3 (+3 on reflex saves vs traps and +3 AC vs traps) and his sneak attack dice increases to 5.
He gains a feat and takes Spring Heeled Style. +2 to hit every round he moves at least 10', and mobility applies to my AC if he provoked while making a range attack or reloading a range weapon. But most importantly, this opens up the Spring Heeled Sprint and Spring Heeled Reaping feats.
And finally, he gains 8 skill points.
