He says to the people inside the tower, not taking his eyes off of the surrounding area.

"Couldn't we just light up the place, a lot easier I think? I have some torches in my pack, maybe one of those light spells could do the trick."
He glances back at the top of the tower where Kawrock is.
"Don't they want to talk... I think they have something else in mind."

Arval glances back up at the tower, the howling coming closer.
"You want all of us moving inside?"
He turns around to Whiskey.
"I don't want to cook inside my armor, could you move back a little? I'll try and hold the entrance."
Arval says to the dwarf.

Moved everyone back a little, if you don't agree do change it back!

Turns out I can do a 15 foot radius circle at level 7. Which is just enough to surround the tower. Marked it off for the GM to see where I wanted it.

Whiskeyjack grumbled at Arval as he stepped back into the tower. He didn't like being holed up in such a place with no means of escape.

Wren resists any shoves by others to shift her out of position, clucking like a chicken and waving her arms violently whenever seeks to move her from her rock.

She seems quite irritated that others might seek to dislodge her from her nest, but soon calms down and awaits the assault by the pack.

"Firebug, you be sure to push that firewall outward, not inward, don't you burn me like an eggbake," Wren says at the kooky bird's firewall idea. "Be sure to let some of them inside the wall. Before you put it up, we'll never catch any and they can wait us out if you put it up too quickly."

High up, Kawrock sees the werewolves approaching. Six of them, jet black and far smaller than the Vollensag stalkers which the group had encountered earlier; clearly from a different pack. They are in hybrid form, swords strapped to their backs as they run on all fours before rising to their human height. Slowly, they approach the tower, slavering and drawing their weapons.

"You have been slaughtering our prey, humans!" calls out one as they approach. "The worm and that dragon were ours. Jezelda howls for your blood and her cries will be answered!"

Since there was some discussion about Kawrock's fire wall plan, we'll hold off on the readied action. You guys have a standard action to play with to cast spells. Map is updated.

Wren seems annoyed at the 'wolves words, mostly annoyance at being called 'human'. She stands up on her rock and replies, screeching like a wo-elf scorned.

"That wasn't prey we slaughtered, it was BAIT!! YOU'RE THE PREY YOU DAFT CURS!" Wren shrills. "NOW COME THE BEATING YOU DESERVE!! WHEN YOU ALL ARE DONE SNIFFING YOUR ASSES COME GET IT."

Wren looks shocked at her own angry outburst (even though the offense of being called human surely allows for some of her anger), and settles back down, preening her armor.

"Oh, sorry about that. They just made me angry..." Wren says much more softly.

Wren does not act just yet.

Eldon sees his chance to negotiate go out of the window and sighs. To lift the mood a bit, he starts telling a funny anecdote. Or at least Eldon considers it to be funny.

"You know, this situation reminds me of the time I went fishing and I caught a kraken. When I hauled it in, the thing was twice the size of the boat! The vessel nearly sunk under the sheer mass of the creature, but my epic sailing skills got me and my fishing pals back to shore. Hahaha!"

"Good point."
He looks around for other options and seems desperate.
"There isn't anywhere to go now... Only thing we can do is go to them. We could move back a little but that would do us no good, although only one at a time would be able to enter the tower."

If I am able to move back one square into the tower we could trap a single werewolf inside the ring of fire with us, with the fire aiming outwards. Only one at a time would be able to enter the tower. I think it would be best if I got to stand where Lena is standing currently.

"KILL THAT ELF WOMAN FIRST!" roars the werewolf who was doing the speaking. Absolutely mad with rage, the werewolves ignore any other attempts at diplomacy and charge for the party!

"What is wrong with that daft elf?!" shouts Cilas from the back of the tower.

"I can't believe that they called me 'human', how rude!" Wren says, still irked. "I'm no human. I have these pointed ears and beautiful skin for a reason."

The werewolves approach the tower, and quickly realize the excellent defensive position set up by the group.

"Take the walls and shoot down that bird," snarls the female. Three werewolves charge for the tower, spreading out into a circle to start climbing the exterior while three more load and aim crossbows at Kawrock!

Kawrock - swords are in their mouths and crossbows are strapped to their sides. Also, the tower does not have a roof, it's open to the air. However you can flatten yourself on the edge of the roof.

KABLAAAM

Flame scorches from the sky while Wren flings her own bit of bat poop towards the werewolves with crossbows. The heat of the conflagration is spectacular, and two burned husks of werewolf bodies fly out of it before slumping against the trees.

Seeing werewolves climbing up the tower, Cilas orders his guards into the disgusting lair of the weaverworm to get out of the melee.

The werewolves along the tower scamper quickly up along the side before they perch on the top, grabbing their swords from their mouth. Lena's magic missile spell goes off as a werewolf climbs over the lip, slamming into her. One of the werewolves finds himself adjacent to Kawrock, and he grins, producing his sword from his mouth.

The werewolf who was scorched by the fireball roars with rage, and bolts across the battlefield before attacking Wren. He throws his crossbow to the side, drawing his sword as he runs.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

With a werewolf nicely in range, Arval attacks around the edge of the tower, missing twice.

Wren takes 11 damage! REadied actions have gone off. Three werewolves are sitting on the edge of the lip of the tower, ready to jump down. One is at the front door trying to eat Wren. Eveyrone is up!

Lena and Arval both attack the werewolf at the front entryway, cutting it down into pieces almost instantly. Feathers cloud everyone's vision as Wren squawks and flees. Meanwhile, Kawrock casts a spell and the blades int he werewolves' hands start to heat up.

As Kawrock stands a werewolf snaps at him, but to no avail. The werewolves all get ready to jump down, and properly hesitate. Three of their number are already dead, and one side is not coming out of that tower alive. After a long moment, one turns to the other.

"Is this the day we die?"

One snaps back.

"This is the day everyone dies!"

The werewolves slip over the side before leaping down into the chaos of the tower, attacking wildly! Kawrock pecks at one as it leaps down, but misses.

Two land to surround Wren. She squawks and ducks one attack, but is slashed by another. Eldon is then hit by one more attack.

Lena turns and blasts one of the werewolves with fire, almost killing it outright!
