Trust me, if it was up to her to cook for us, we would both have starved long ago! However, yes the rest of the housework now falls to me as well lmao. She often says that my skill in the kitchen is what convinced her to marry me!

I'm flying back home today - please don't expect anything from me on the next days, I'll be busy getting things round :) have fun during the while guys!
GM Shady |
In the short term for the chests you can grab an NPC and bring them down, or else move the chests (assuming you're still able to do so) to the NPC. The NPC will expect a cut.
Normal #2 choice if no rogue is that a bard has access to some roguish skills, without having to multi-class. If necessary - and if it's acceptable to Pip - I will allow Pip to effectively rebuild when you all level up.
Pipernortin |
I can redirect a few points into roguey bits when we hit level 2. If GM Shady will allow it, I'll swap out one of my traits to get one of the +1 disable device/always a class skill traits to cover that gap. That won't let Pip do anything about magical traps, but it should let him handle most mundane things and basic locks and involves the least revisions to the character.

BRIEF WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR
I've an Iron Gods campaign going, still fairly early, where we seem to have two players who have dropped (from the boards, completely). I'm going round my other campaigns (two of them, at least, and starting with this one) before opening up recruitment on a wider basis. Let me know - by PM - if you'd like to join. The characters in question are/were an Arcanist and an Investigator. The remaining PCs are a Summoner, a Barbarian, a Shaman and a Bloodrager.
Garekk |
Isnt there a barbarian archetype that picks up some kinda rogue stuff? Or am I thinking of a bard/barbarian archetype? Its up to yall.. if Pip wants to go that route, I can stay a front liner.
French Wolf |
There is alot of useful synergy between bard and rogue. But if want to go all "Conan" on us, I'm sure that would work for you. Garekk as a frontliner alongside Roet seems very positive (especially if we ever get to face a dragon?).
Shady, thanks for the offer, but most of my games have picked up pace and so I'm maxed out. Good luck though my friends say its a great campaign - if a little dangerous.
Cheers

You'll now find a link to a map of Belhaim in the campaign summary at the top of the thread(s) and a key to those locations you've visited. This isn't a case of having to go everywhere but as you meet people in town it can be associated with particular buildings. The interaction is likely to grow over the next few days (of game time).

Hey guys,
I apologize in advance, but I will have to step down for a while from my activities here in the Paizo forums. It will be at least some good months before I can come back.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I hope your games continue fun!

Hate to see you go, but life does tend to do these things. Wish you the best of luck.
@GM Shady - sounds fine with me.
Also, in trying to figure out a way to approach the kobolds peacefully without the Baroness' aid, I realized we never actually collected anything off the ashen corpses Hazry left behind. Was there anything left? Hopefully something we can bring to the kobold tribe and say 'hey, we totally don't want to murder all of you but it seems the Baroness sort of wants to?'
GM Shady |
@Pip - nothing left. The Baroness doesn't want to murder them, she wants them out, because in the default Pathfinder/D&D alignment based world, they're evil and she's not keen on having them there. She could, when her deputies arrive back, go in and kill them all (or try), but she's hoping you can figure out something more subtle. As for paying them, well, they're evil, so why trust them?
Pipernortin |
Yeah, I know as much--but Pip's not keen on trusting nobles and, in his experience, 'deal with it' oftentimes means 'I don't want to get my hands dirty doing what I know needs to be done to really deal with it.' He's also stubborn in his belief that anyone not trying to immediately kill him (and sometimes those that are) should be given the benefit of the doubt. Chaotic good, etc.
As for getting paid, Pip's just a good-hearted businessman and doesn't want to see someone getting ripped off. It's why he was so sad when our good caravan master Silas failed to pay up ;.;

No worries, I just wanted to let the group know that I'm still here. There's no hurry!
Hi - sorry had intended to write about your insertion to the game, but effectively went offline this last 2 nights/1 day. Am just catching up on all my various campaigns but will PM shortly.

Just passed finals for this quarter! I get a whole 2 and a half weeks of freedom!

Good luck Avo. Five years of slog.. *shudder* thats rough. My end goal may take that long or longer, but at least I can sit for my license exams with just my associates degree and then start working my way through everything else. What is your major, Law?
Avogadro the Astounding |
As far as Avogadro's itinery for the day goes (following Talia's recomendations where he can):
Buy a new shirt
Buy a impressive looking (but not necessarily good) weapon, probably a longsword unless he's convinced otherwise.
Buy a new waterskin
Have the gems valued
Speak to an alchemist or equivalent and show him the goo from the dungeon trench
Speak to someone ranger/scout ish about any dealings they may have had with, and anything they can tell us about, the kobold tribe.
Speak to a sage/historian (maybe at the baroness' library) about the historical names we learned about underground
Offer the gems and the plaque to the baroness' son.
Talk to the burglar turned whiskey salesman about hunclays house.
And then speak with Talia/Pip about plans for the entertainment this evening.
Most of that doesn't need Avogadro doing it though.
I think that's it...
