I'm getting ready to run this scenario with a steady group and I need to add another two players. We're playing the low subtier.

what is the lower subtier? 1-2? if so i can make a character up quickly...also what does the group already have?

Yep it's 1-2. I believe it's currently a bard, a spiritualist and a swashbuckler. There is a fourth who is undecided so I may pick up a third here once I hear back from that person.

I've been wanting to play a Brawler. Should I join up? And if I have a Siege of Serpents chronicle, but it's applied to another character, can I still get the benefit with this new Brawler?

I could have the character up and running first thing in the morning.

Eben - Sure, roll 'em up and hop over to the game. If your SoS chronicle is for another character then this new brawler wouldn't have access to that sheet. Similarly, the other character wouldn't get the sheet for this scenario. However, if your other character is still level 1 and you wanted to make him a Brawler you can do that. You can also change anything you want about your character up until you're level two.

Both - I've posted the intro but I'll wait to everyone dots in before I continue.

I think that I have already played this scenario, but I have vague memories of it being rushed. If you are fine with someone playing for fun. If a level five would not bump the group into mid tier. Then I will be happy to bring Dr Arkadius. He is a fifth level Necrocultist who is a healer and a summoner who can also deal with undead. If you would rather that I pass, then there are no hard feelings and I wish you good luck and good gaming.

Dr. Arkadious - Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. Everyone else is level 1/2 so I'd rather grab another in that range. Maybe next time!

Okie dokie. It'll depend on party makeup so far.

My Investigator is a skills monster (reached a 39 Diplomacy last game), but he has -zero- combat ability.

My "Samurai" hits decently and has face skills, but is as dumb as a box of rocks.

Which would you all prefer?

I don't have much of a preference.

I think we're a bit light on skills, but we're not exactly loaded with heavy hitters, either. Jax looks like the heaviest hitter by virtue of having a Strength of 18 (and being able to Martial Flexibility his way into Power Attack).

I'd say we definitely need the investigator more :)
