50gp - beryl
45gp - heart shaped gold locket
100gp - ornate hope knife
75gp - nobles outfit
50gp - signet ring
25gp each - onyx gems
10gp - alchemically treated coals
cloak of resistance +1
It's a scabbard of HONING - scabbard of honing
formula alembic
no value - formula book
Kreagor |
Total of 9180.5 gp. Thats 1836.1 gp each.
If someone keeps the cloak of resistance +1 (which someone should) then its 8680.5 gp total and 1736.1 gp each.
So what are we doing for healing? I suggest 2 wands of CLW with a wand with 15 charges for a wand of CMW. So its 750 gp each for the wands of CLW and 1350 gp for the 15 charges of CMW. We might also want a wand of Lesser Restoration, which is 4500 gp or one with only 10-15 charges.
Lialda Boreana |
Remember that I can brew potions as well so that can help us some. I'm tempted to take craft wand at some point so that I can make those cheap as well.
Kreagor |
It would be nice to have some way to stop the fear conditions worse than shaken, nauseated, and paralysis. And maybe some scrolls of remove blindness/deafness since that's a pretty bad one to get hit with in combat and its a level 2 sorc/wiz spell.
Kreagor |
I like that idea too. I suggest everyone make a list of 2-3 items they want with their price and what they think we should do for buying healing.
Kreagor wants:
+1 armor - 1000 gp (upgrade current MWK armor)
Should note I messed up in thinking that 1500 gp will get us magic armor and weapons. Too used to having a crafter in the party haha.
I also think we should get 1 wand of CLW for 750 gp, a wand of Lesser restoration with 10 charges for 900 gp and a wand of CMW with 10 charges for 900 gp. Total cost of healing is 2500 gp.
Garri Leaflock |
If I upgrade Garri's armor, I'm not sure what to get. He has a masterwork chain shirt, with a max dex of +4 and AC bonus of +4. His dex after the level up is already +4. Considering his attack and AC both feed off of dex, he will be wanting a dex belt as soon as feasible (not now, but maybe next time we level up, or the next after that, considering it costs 4000 GP). I don't want to keep buying armor just to keep selling it as his dex outgrows it.
Garri would like to sell his current scimitar and get a masterwork one (315 gp to buy, 12.5 back for selling current non-masterwork)
I also would like to pick up a few useful scrolls for Garri so that I can take less useful but more fun spells.
level 1: remove fear
level 2: lesser restoration, delay poison
(I don't know if just one makes sense, or if we want an extra)
An idea, I don't know if it's a good idea: a partial wand of bless. Garri can use it to boost Kreagor and Sarada with one action. Against tougher enemies, that may be more helpful than one Garri attack.
Garri Leaflock |
Specific cost suggestions:
wand of bless, 10 charges, 75 gp (lasts one minute on whole party)
scimitar upgrade (302.5 gp)
scrolls: 1 remove fear, 2 delay poison (325 GP; half if Renliat can scribe with Garri to provide spell)
healing and lesser restoration as described in Kreagor's post
Garri will also spend some loose change he has to buy a cheap holy text, if Renliat is helping him learn to read during the time between adventures.
Garri Leaflock |
If we buy everything requested above, we have:
Kreagor armor upgrade 1000 gp
Garri armor upgrade 1000 gp
wand of CLW 750 gp
wand of Lesser restoration(10 charges) 900 gp
wand of CMW with 10 charges 900 gp
wand of bless, 10 charges 75 gp
scimitar upgrade 302.5 gp
scrolls: 1 remove fear, 2 delay poison crafted fro 162.5 GP
That totals 5090 GP.
Everyone else is being very quiet about this, so I'm just going to put all that healing gear on Garri's character sheet, and I would suggest that Kreagor just go ahead and upgrade his armor.
I know Lialda was going to craft some potions, and Renliat probably wants some scrolls or a partial wand of an attack spell, but I don't know of what, so that's not included in the above figures. There is still plenty of money left for those, though.
Kreagor |
I suggest Renliat take the cloak or resistance +1.
So we would have 8680.5-5090 = 3590.5
A wand of mage armor is another 750, leaving us with 2840.5 gp.
If no one else wants anything I will update the spread sheet with the current kept items and the total amount of gold we have.
Lialda Boreana |
As far as what I'm spending I'm looking to make 3 mage armor pots at cl 4 and 3 cure mod pots at cl 4 (total of 900 gp spent). The moderates are to give out to the fighters so I would like to take that cost out of the overall party wealth, the mage armors are mine and will come from my own money. Does that seem good to you guys?
The moderates would heal 2d8+4 and be one for Kraehor Sarad and Gari.
Sarada |
Sorry, couldn’t think of what to do an it led to bit of option paralysis.
Kreagor |
Not gonna lie, the "Where are Garri's friends at" line is still the most humorous/cutest method of say "hey... guys.... maybe make a post or something" that I've come across.
Also, can we consider the whole buying things complete? Then I can update the loot sheet so its not as cluttered.
Sarada |
Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, I don’t really have any excuse. I’ll try to get caught up.
Garri Leaflock |
Guys, I need to cut back a bit on my non-PFS games, and because this game is so slow, it's the one I need to cut. My deepest apologies, and my best wishes for fun for all of you. I will leave Garri's profile alone for a few weeks if you need to bot him for a while or need to reclaim some party gear to keep everyone safe.
Sarada |
*offers hugs*
I’m sorry for holding things up.
GM ShadowLord |
OK, I'm back. PAX was great, the Philly PFS crew are awesome. I took an extended Thanksgiving break as well.
Soooo I'm struggling with continuing the game as well. I'm not sure what's really wrong, but I'm not finding the interest or motivation to sign into Paizo to keep it going. After four years of PBP, I've seeming hit my fill. It's become more like work and less like fun.
It's not this game, it's all of my games here. I'm not sure what to do. Should we stop? Should I put it on hiatus for a little while? Something else? Thoughts!?
Lialda Boreana |
This campaign I'm not as concerned with as I am the RotRL one. I agree, we can give it a hiatus and see how you feel later on. I don't want to force you to continue but I certainly am interested in doing so.
Sarada |
*nods*
If you’re getting burnt out it’s best to take a break.
Kreagor |
I am agree with a break. While I don't want to force anything on anyone, given that the holidays are fast approaching, how about we reconvene to see whats up the first week of January? I would rather not leave it 100% open ended, indefinite breaks are the worst sort I find.
GM ShadowLord |
That sounds reasonable to me. I'm not quitting, I would have given up and left already. I feel like I just need a break. I'll archive this thread for now and reopen it back up around the new year to check in with everyone.
Thanks for understanding! Have a Merry Christmas and I'll see you in a month or so!
