I have some extra keys from the IndieGala Bundle and was wondering if anyone would like to trade a game or two, or if I am feeling nice I can give a game or two.

Sorry everyone. The whole household came down with the flu over the weekend so I wasn't able to completely finish everything that I wanted to. I have a map that I am almost finished with and should have it posted later today, and I will get the combat going now.

Two questions: are we using the critical defense rules? If so, does my deadly iaijutsu thing become a bonus to the dc of the enemies check then?

Oh, and i'm assuming that deadly iaijutsu replaces weapon expertise instead of mounted charge, seeing as samurai don't get mounted charge?

1) Yes
2) It replaces Mounted Archery and is gained at 4th level instead of 3rd (Source)

Here's some HP rolls.

HP:1d10 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
HP:1d10 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
HP:1d10 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
HP:1d10 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

We are not using standard HP rolls. For 1d10 you would use 1d4+6.

HP:1d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Yeah, I probably could have been a little clearer on that. I forgot to add it to the Info page. I will do that later when I get a chance.

Adding in the 5 hp from favored class, and I have 63 hp at fifth level. Hopefully this will allow me to survive some gunshots.

The alias version of character is complete i think. I'll add the finishing touches to the google site later.

Two last questions: One, does weapon expertise allow me to select feats like weapon specialization without having any fighter levels? Two, I'm assuming that Gloves of Arrow Snaring will allow me to snatch firearm bullets as well, given that the firearm rules allow someone using Deflect Arrows or Snatch Arrows to do the same to firearm bullets. Is this right?

1) I will say that you treat your Samurai levels as if they were Fighter levels. So you have an effective Fighter level of 5 currently.

2) Since the gloves just give you access to the feat and the feat works, the gloves work.

Just checking in. Been really busy last few days, didn't check the threads, but it seems like I didn't miss anything so all's well.

It may seem bad and odd, but I get most of my posting done at work. And I work today, so posts should be up later.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have made the website open to viewing for everyone. I figured that there isn't really anything I need to hide on it for now, so this way others can read and get interest and maybe follow the story. And if anyone is interested in helping me flesh out the kingdoms and towns let me know.

I'm always up for some world-building. Not sure if there's any one area of specific interest, and I'd run everything I wrote up by you first since it's your world and all.

EDIT: Actually, fleshing out the Erufu lands (more specifically the kitsune's place in it) sounds interesting and would provide me more insight into Yulai. The Ron Kingdom also sounds interesting since you've got next to nothing up about it so there'd be a lot to do.

If you would like to work on Erufu you can work with Cassian Vespertine, who has also shown interest in the area. As for the Ron Kingdom, it is primarily a jungle kingdom run by the Nagaji with the other major population being Wayang and Vishkanya, with a lesser number of Tengu and some wild elfs.

Vishkanya...those are the people that secrete poison from their skin, right?

Iz ok, I just figured you were working on where to go next. Lord knows I do that often enough to make people worry about the health of the game when I'm GMing.

Yeah, I already have an idea of where the game is going for some time now. It is just writing it out and posting it that gets me sometimes.

Also a friend, and the owner of my local gaming store, was moving his shop to a new location last week and I was helping out. It kind of took a lot of my time and I didn't get as much as I would like done, but at least I got to help out a friend.

OK, this is something I do not want to do, but I think I have to. I am doing a disservice to each of you making you wait on me to play this game, so I have decided that I am going to put the game on hiatus till I have more time to dedicate to it.

Now this doesn't mean the game is over, just that I don't think I can dedicate the time needed to the game at this point. I do have each of your email accounts so I can email each of you at a later date to continue the game if you wish to rejoin at that time.
