I am guessing I would be after Garrokmal, and I also have Darkvision, though sadly only at the same 30 foot distance as my normal vision.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Okay so, I have Garrok, Hieronymous, Katarina, then Zaf for the default marching order. Also if you're not sure about the setup, the Glassworks map has your current location in the top right, it shows the basement layout.

stealth roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
stealth roll: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16

You make your way down the hallway and come to the first of the doors, the door stands half open. Inside you see shelves full of glassware, windows, jars, and other finished goods made of glass, beyond that there's nothing interesting.

The next door is closed. As Garrok approaches he hears the creak of a bowstring as it's pulled taut. He spins to see Tsuto Kaijutsu down the hallway aiming a bow. In front of him, the wounded goblin, now seemingly patched up, snickers with malicious glee.

Rolling for Initiative
Garrok's Init: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Hieronymous' Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Katarina's Init: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Zaf's Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Goblin's Init: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Tsuto's Init: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Okay, Goblin, Garrok, Tsuto, Zaf, Hieronymous, then Kat and Caine

Seeing the Half-orcs surprise, the goblin senses revenge at hand and charges his foe with a high pitched war cry.

Goblin's Charge: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

The mad little devil gets tripped up in the debris that's scattered in the hallway and swings wide.

Garrok's up, everyone but Garrok is having a difficult time knowing what's going on, but it sounds like there's fighting going on.

"Goblin!" Garrokmal shouts over his shoulder as he turns the corner. "There may be more!"

You slippery little bugger - how did you make it down here?

Not taking any extra time to consider it, he tries to bury his sword in the vermin's face.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

He makes contact, but merely wounds the goblin. Looking down the hall, he sees the arrow pointing his direction... "Tsuto! We're looking for your sister - Katarina is with us!" I hope he's aiming for the goblin and not me.

Hopefully that's not too much dialogue for a combat round. :]

Nah, a bit of dialogue is great to spice things up and doesn't really count as an action or anything to boot.

Picture of Tsuto

Tsuto scowls saying, "You should have stayed out my business, orc, now you and your friends are going to suffer for it."

He lets loose the string and the bow twangs as the arrow speeds for Garrok.

Tsuto's attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

The arrow splinters as it impacts the brickwork. He also moves forward 10 ft.

Zaf, Hieronymous, then Kat. Hieronymous can melee the goblin, but Katarina and Zaf dont have line of sight or line of effect to the target.

As the party abruptly halts, Zafzalurg strains to see around his companions. The hall is too narrow to push up to the front and see for himself, so he shouts,

"Garrok, what's going on up there?"

As he waits for a response, the bard turns and steps back to the mouth of the corridor, peering down its length, not wanting to be surprised or flanked.

Not sure if Zafzalurg needs another perception check, but just in case...

Zaf, no extra perception needed. You can make out that there's some sort of excitement going on ahead. You heard Garrok yell something about goblins and another voice echoing through the hallways.

Hieronymous knocks a chunk out of the hallway masonry as his mace swings wide.

Katarina up.

"Hey, what... What's... I can't see a thing!" - Katarina huffs, standing on her tip toes and leaning left and right trying to get some sense of the situation up ahead - "Is it goblins again? It's so narrow in here... We should get back to the corridor!"

Trying to give her friends some space to maneuver, Katarina falls back to 4:C. Caine follows suit and ends up in her space (he is so small he can share a square with an ally ^_^).

The goblin renews his attack against Garrok while yelling, "Tsuto say you die!"

goblin Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

The goblin flails as frothing spittle flies from its mouth.

What the!? Tsuto is part of this? I don't understand - no time to waste!

Garrok swings again at the goblin, hoping to finish him off...

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

As the goblin falls to the ground, he steps forward to get right in Tsuto's face. He calls out to his friends "Don't kill him - he may be brainwashed!" And that would be the best case scenario...

I assume that's a hit and a kill; after that, a 5-ft step forward toward Tsuto.

The goblin falls in a lump as Garrok strides over its mangled body.

Tsuto casts his bow aside and steps into a fighting stance.

Tsuto's Attack #1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Tsuto's fist flashes forward slamming into Garrok's sternum, he feels the wind rush out of his lungs and gasps for breath.
Garrok takes 3 points of damage and needs to make a DC 14 Fortitude Save, if he fails he is stunned.

Tsuto's Attack #2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

If Save failed:
Garrok sucks in air but nothing comes, his lungs feel empty. He drops his sword and clutches at his chest willing his lungs to work. Caught up in his panic, Tsuto wheels around with a roundhouse kick, taking Garrok in the temple.
A 15 should hit when stunned.
Damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 2) + 1 = 6
Garrok takes 6 more points of damage from the kick

If Save made:
Garrok's lungs scream, but air rushes back into them bringing life. Tsuto steps back to deliver a roundhouse kick, but Garrok raises his shield and Tsuto's boot clangs off of it without harm.

Zaf, Hieronymous, Katarina, then Garrok(unless he's stunned)

Feeling more than a little helpless in his current position, Zafzalurg hits on a plan.

"Katarina, if Tsuto sticks his head out on this end, blast it. I'm going to try to get behind him."

The gnome then starts to hustle down the wide hall to eventually flank Tsuto and prevent him from fleeing. What have we stumbled upon? I thought this was just a sleepy port town when I disembarked.

Rage round 1 of 8! In place of a move action, Intimidating Glare (DC 10+Hit Dice+Wisdom Modifier). Then the attack.

Intimidating Glare: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Sigh... Riatin, FYI I don't have HeroLab at the moment and my iPad isn't loading the latest data correctly, so I made those rolls based on the data recently copied into my character sheet here. You may want to make sure they're correct, though it doesn't look like it'll make a difference - pretty big misses all around. ><

Running is fine in combat Zaf, but it can be quite dangerous since it causes you to lose your dex modifier to AC. And yeah, both of those are misses, Rei.

Tsuto smirks at Garrok and says,"Nice try, oaf. It looks like your little friend here wants a piece of me too."

Tsuto Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25 This is an ability in the acrobatics skill where you can move through a square occupied by an enemy, its DC is 5+ the opponents CMD score, which in this case Zaf's CMD is 12, so Tsuto needed a 17.

Tsuto does a standing-back flip to land behind Zaf as he runs up while snapping a kick at the back of the gnomes head.

"Hopefully that'll help ease the pain a bit my friend."

Going to bot Katarina just to keep things moving along.

Seeing Zaf disappear down the hallway at a clip, she moves to join her friends to see if she can be of help.

Seeing Tsuto before her, she freezes, unsure of what to do. He seems to be fighting her friends, but why? Tsuto was always a bit of a jackass, but would he really be fighting her friends.

Hoping to bring the confrontation to a quick bloodless conclusion, she fixes him with her arcane stare and says the magic words that will put him to sleep.

Katarina moves to I10 and casts the Slumber Hex (DC 16) on Tsuto

Frustrated at being unable to get at Tsuto, Garrokmal's rage continues... He sees Katarina on the far side attempt a spell. He could snap her fragile neck - I'd better get over there.

As far as I can tell, that's his only real option - this hallway is a pain! Rage round 2/8 for the day. Riatin: Please verify, but with double movement and my base movement being 40, I think he ends up at H10 based on my reading of the movement rules.

H10 would be correct yes.

This may be a longer contest than I first thought Zafzalurg clears his throat and begins a song to Inspire Courage, then takes a five foot step back to give the barbarian room to move up, or the healer space to move back. Not that it seems to matter to Tsuto. Where did he learn to move like that?

By my count, Zafzalurg has 10 rounds of bardic performance left. He starts his day with 15 (4 + char mod + Extra Performance + level bonus = 4 + 3 + 6 + 2) and spent five in the confrontation upstairs with the goblins. Riatin, let me know if you have a different number.

Barely audible at first, the sound of Katarina's unsettling laughter fills the corridor once more, like an echo slowly coming back to life and dying out again. As before, the sound seems to take awfully longer than it should to finally disappear.

He stops, panting after the brief jog, readying his Mace for an opportunity to strike.

Webpage keeps dying on me and has eaten my post several times, sorry about that.

Happy that one of her spells has finally landed on the wily Tsuto, Katarina cackles in glee and tries to entrap him in more subtle enchantments.

Katarina cackles and casts Daze DC 15 on Tsuto.

Tsuto's Save: 1d20 + 3 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 2 + 2 = 21

The spell vanishes around Tsuto before it can take hold, his mind as strong as ever.

Garrok up

He's trapped! At least - that sounded like him becoming trapped... Garrokmal hustles down the hallway and around the corner. He sees the half-elf struggling in the webs. "Nice one, little miss!" He grins at Katarina as he passes the corner.

Stepping up to the struggling Tsuto, he brandishes the longsword. "I have you now..."

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Damage?: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Another crappy roll, but please, please please say that's a hit! Rage round 6/8 for the day. By my reckoning, 40-foot movement gets him to F10.

In a rage Garrok stabs Tsuto as he struggles to pull himself from the sticky mess.

The half-elf struggles with his bonds trying to free himself.

Tsuto's escape cmb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

As slippery as ever Tsuto easily wriggles from the webbing.

tsuto takes his first hit

Zafzalurg is astonished, and outraged, that this man is so easily having his way with the party. Can anything we do stop him, the gnome wonders. At least Garrok hit him so we know Tsuto can bleed. Let's see what I can do.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Zafzalurg continues his bard song (6/15 rounds left), but once this battle is over, I'll make sure he apologizes to everyone for his terrible rolls.

Encouraged by Garrokmal's successful hit, Hieronymous takes a swing at Tsuto with his mace.

Heavy Mace: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Perception: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

He feels vindicated as the mace makes contact, Maybe we'll win this fight after all!

Seeing her companions attacks connect, Katarina lets loose with another of her spells while more unnerving laughter echoes from her.

Katarina cackles and casts Daze DC 15 again.

Tsuto's Save: 1d20 + 5 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 5 - 2 + 2 = 10

The magic takes hold and Tsuto blinks repeatedly and wobbles a bit on his feet as if someone had punched him quite hard in the face.
Tsuto is dazed and loses his round. Garrok up.

Seeing the blood flowing from Tsutos' injuries and the bewildered look in his eyes, Garrok's bloodlust continues unabated. "That thing I said about not killing him?" he shouts, "Yeah - forget that!"

He attacks with his sword.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Seriously with the rolls - ugh. Rage round 7/8 for the day.
