All right, let's see here... *Rubs hands together* First of all, please format your posts in this style, including all abilities, powers, and choices that can have an impact on what you play. This helps me look through things and quickly reference everything I need to know while posting, though as always, you're welcome to have a second character sheet for your personal use if you prefer a different setup. ^^ Aside from that, I just need everyone to check in so I can be sure you're all here.

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

Dot. Will finish stuff up between or after classes today.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Heya!

Thank you for the invite! :D

Will double check ym character sheet is up to snuff.

I utilize Hero Lab so sometimes it comes out wonky. =/

Female Human Paladin/Bard 2 | HP: 18/24 | AC: 16/12/14 | Fort +10, Ref +10, Will +8 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 17 | Init: +7 | Perception: +5

Checking in, glad to be picked. Once I'm home from school I will format all the stuff as asked and familiarize myself with the other characters' backstories a bit.

The default Hero Lab output is almost perfect - it's just that, sometimes, you have to manually add things to the special abilities section to be sure they're listed. XD The point is that I shouldn't have to look anywhere else to know what a power actually does - except for spells, which don't need full listings (I just need access, ideally on d20pfsrd for quick browsing).

Female Human Paladin/Shaman 2 | HP: 20 | AC: 21 (16)/12/14 | Fort +6, Ref +6, Will +9 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 18 | Init: +2 | Perception: +8 |

Checking in!

Huzzah, everyone's here! ^^ Excellent. I'll give you all a bit to make sure everything is in order with your profile sheets, then post the introduction later today.

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

So, my profile is actually pretty much the same as what you're asking, but I have links to his abilities instead of written descriptions. Is this okay, or would you rather I add the descriptions?

I'd like the full descriptions - having to click through each ability to check it drags things out and defeats the purpose of having them listed. ^^ Fortunately, a quick copy-paste is all you should need.

Female Human Paladin/Bard 2 | HP: 18/24 | AC: 16/12/14 | Fort +10, Ref +10, Will +8 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 17 | Init: +7 | Perception: +5

Alright, Paige's profile should be done.

Building her to be a super versatile support character. Lots of buffs from both her spells and eventually Marshal abilities. Skill monkeying through the roof. Despite taking Point Blank Shot at 1st level she's going to be focused mostly on her Longsword; archery just requires a couple feats to be a good idea first, and this way she can switch hit as needed. Only thing she can't do well right now is tank due to light armor, but I'm considering Dual Pathing her to grab Armor Master out of Guardian, just so she can flip around and cast spells in Full Plate.

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

Tarov should be good to go, too.

Between them, I suspect Tarov and Yukio will suffice for the tanking. XD You don't have much to worry about there.

@Julian: Please format your skill bar in the same way as the others. ^^ It helps when things match.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Sorry just woke up! :( But I have it formatted like Paiges now. Anything else?

Tweak the skill bar to match everyone else's - the part below your name (currently Init +5; Senses darkvision 60ft, etc.). ^^

Also, the gameplay thread is up! ...Should probably have connected that earlier, but... *Coughs* ANYWAY, the game begins!

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Will update my critical info shortly. :( on phone omw to laptop lol.

Did you want classes and archetypes in there still as well?

Yes. ^^ Just for quick reference, and to help me remember who's doing what.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Done and Done! Sorry for the wait :) Arc: Is short for Arcana~

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

It would have been nice to have Brew Potion still but Grenadier's benefits were too good to pass up. :/

Although I have a bad habit of believing the Archetype is better then it actually is...

Jungle Druid, worst druid Arch ever.

Saurian Shaman though... Fun as HELL! Forget Elemental, Animal or Plant shapes. I choose to be a Dinosaur! >:D *CHOMPS*

And then a sorcerer starts riding you and flinging spells off of your back as you charge forward into a horde of demons...

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

YepperS! After you summon an entire horde of Celestial T-Rex on steroids!

Although Air Elemental, Aerial bombardment is fun too. Natural Spell + Wild Speech is a must have as a Dino Druid for Talking Godzilla Mode!

I have a Mythic Saurian Druid in another Kingmaker Campaign and she has an infinite wildshape into an Allosaurus as her mythic ability. It doesn't count against her number per day and it is a huge dino which is fun~

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

That does sound like all kinds of fun. :D

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

It is, Saurian Shaman is a fairly open ended Wildshape Archetype as you can change into any dinosaur. Flying, Swimming or Land types are all open and it is fun. Mythic opens a lot of possibilities without making her super powered. Yet. ;D

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

If my posting style bothers anyone let me know. Once things are more settled my posts should/may get shorter depending on the situation. I try to make sure people can visualize how my character is reacting.

Julian is a very intelligent individual which leads to him being very calm. Besides it would be a very bad day if he dropped his bomb because he was excited. XD

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

Not so much a complaint, but it seems like you bold stuff a lot, but for no particular reason? It's a little distracting when trying to figure out what your character is saying. Length-wise, I don't particularly mind, as long as it's not unreasonable.

Spoiler:
In another PbP game I was in, a guy would routinely make massive posts where he would hold discussions pretty much with himself, and then act on those discussions, before anyone else would ever get a chance to respond. Was tough trying to keep up with the flow when he was arbitrarily deciding it.

Personally, I encourage only bolding speech and leaving everything else as normal text. ^^ No need to specifically call out anything in the actions - I do read them, after all!

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

I was trying to differentiate between his actions and who he was talking to. I won't do that again. It was only because it was a long post. ^.^ thanks though I take constructive advice very well. :)

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

There we go! Random boldness removed. :D
I really hope magus alchemist works well. Trying to blend two int/dex primary classes. I lose on BAB and Saves but abilities cant be denied. ;D

Although that was a lucky 20.

@GM Rendal.: do we roll to confirm Crits?

^^ That's part of the standard rules, isn't it? Yes.

(Well, depending on the type. Saves are automatic, for example, but 20's on attack rolls only threaten crits. You have to succeed on the second roll to confirm it.)

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Hehe, I only ask because DM's lately have been wiggly on it. So I will continue to keep the Damage roll separate like I did in game.

^^;

So standard rules, no wigglyness. Got it. ;D

Edit

Well I was wrong today is an off day. 14 hours of sit and wait...

Blargh. So i will be lurking. I will clean up Julian's sheet some more. Make hyper links to skills and such for ease of reference/out of boredom.

@Tarov/Anyone

Had that type of an experience as well. Will try to not be that guy. ;)

@Tarov again

Cavalier is one of my favorites although I never noticed inspiring commander before. Hmm.

Huntmaster is another favorite of mine other then just a vanilla cavalier of the Order of the Flame. Cavalier is such a bruiser class when mounted!
__________________________________________________________________________

Working on make a 2-20 progression for Julian, its gonna be rough with how feat starved both classes are but I am looking forward to the challenge. Any advice is welcomed. ;D

Will add spoilers into my profile.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Will wait until others have a chance to post! :)

Btw you guys have some really neat characters. I learned a lot from the recruitment alone. Gestalt adds a lot more versatility that's for sure! :)

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

You're fine, so far. Long posts aren't a problem so long as they don't leave any options for other people to act. While I tend to stick to shorter posts (and compensate with quantity) there is nothing intrinsically wrong with getting detailed and maybe even a little long-winded with your posts.

And as far as the Inspiring Commander goes: I actually didn't even know it existed. I asked around about what would gestalt well with Warder (because all Int-based casters are either psionics or take forever to be able to cast spells in heavy armor, if at all) and was pointed at it. And considering I'd been thinking about playing a defensive juggernaut, adding the support role to that was an easy choice.

And now that you mention it, I should probably start looking into planning feats and stuff, as well. I generally only go to ~12, though, because that's way past any level I've ever actually played to, but it gives me enough leeway to figure out exactly what I want to do.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Me too I had only one character on the boards get to lvl 11 and the game died shortly after. I retrained him due to players leaving and this is his profile. There are a few 3pp feats but they were really circumstantial so they were not overpowered. Just added up to a fun Magus/Kensai build.

I would love to play a serpentfolk again. Despite the 5 lvls behind the party deal. I would take it only because I love just being that unique the stats were really nice (except strngth) but all and all it was really fun and you could make some great builds!

Fiend Flayer Magus Arch Was a deciding factor on building Julian as I did. In a way he can never be unarmed. It costs a lot of Arcana to maintain the weapon but if he needs it he will have one. Well when he is higher level.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Off to bed, DMNPC as needed. ;D THey keep rolling my around on different shifts this week so thought I'd place a warning here~

Boss campsite... argh. Will try and proof read better. Meant to be Abandoned but auto correct isn't always 'correct'.

But.

That campsite is 'Like A Boss'...

I can never find good artwork for Male Tieflings. Only if I want them either looking Epic level or crazy demony looking lol.

Trying to find something fitting to his character description~ But not much luck lol.

Booyah found something neat~

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

I guess we should figure out a marching order eh?

Especially as we have three extra people with us~

It would be nice to keep Julian in either a 2nd rank or rear position.

He has decent stealth/perception but I am mainly concerned with the range of his bombs. His AC is decent enough he can stand on a front or full rear defender position but his HP isn't so much~

Marching order
Front
-Stalwart <- Because he is Beefcake.
-Julian? <- As stated above~
-
-

-
Rear

Female Human Paladin/Bard 2 | HP: 18/24 | AC: 16/12/14 | Fort +10, Ref +10, Will +8 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 17 | Init: +7 | Perception: +5

Paige can grab a middle spot I guess. She's a bit beefier, but until she can wear better armor she'll have the lowest AC in the party. Julian pulling up the rear might be best, since he's not really packing anything special for frontline damage at the moment.

But given what we've seen of the map so far, moving in twos doesn't look too impossible. Maybe Paige and Stalwart up front, with Julian and Yukio (since her Longspear has reach) right behind. We don't seem to be in much danger of being flanked considering how we're traveling, so I don't think taking the inured into formation is too big a deal. Focus on what's up front and perhaps block off the path of anything trying to move past us to get to them.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

True but the map is a mixture of tight squeezes in between rooms hence why I was thinking a single file formation to start. I'll add a two per row one as well.

My only issue with being Rear is Range penalties, his bomb does a min of 7 splash damage and 7-12 on a direct hit. So if anything his bombs are pretty deadly ATM. Either way i'm flexible. I still have my full range of spells for spell combat along with bombs so Julian can help with fighting. Coupled with decent stealth he makes for an alright scout right now~

As for the injured, anyone who has lived around the Worldwound (I assume) knows how demons can pop up out of thin air.

Aside from that Julian has his reasons for acting the way he does~

Anyway let me know from the rest of you~ Please. :)

So...

Marching order
Front
- Stalwart <- Because he is Beefcake.
- Youkia?
- Paige?
- Anevia?
- Riftwarden?
- Horgus?
- Julian? <- As stated above~
Rear

Front
- Stalwart, Paige
- Youkia, Anevia
- Horgus, Riftwarden
- Julian
Rear

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

Either of those look good to me. I think the 2x2 is preferable if it's possible, because it keeps the injured in Tarov's threatened range. Either works, though.

Julian Religion: Desna | HP: 96/103 | AC: 27 / T: 23 / FF: 14 / Resist: Fire 5 Defiant Armor - vs Evil Outsiders +2 AC DR 2/- | F: +8, R: +14, W: +8 | BAB +6 CMB: +7 CMD: +30 | Ini: +15 Perception: +15

Sounds good. :) Horgus isn't gonna like being next to me lol. xD

Female Human Paladin/Shaman 2 | HP: 20 | AC: 21 (16)/12/14 | Fort +6, Ref +6, Will +9 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 18 | Init: +2 | Perception: +8 |

I agree with the 'paired' marching order.

It seems like if we need scouting both Julian and Paige are capable, although if Paige moves to heavier armor that might leave it to Julian entirely.

Female Human Paladin/Bard 2 | HP: 18/24 | AC: 16/12/14 | Fort +10, Ref +10, Will +8 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 17 | Init: +7 | Perception: +5

My guess is that Horgus doesn't like being next to anybody.

As for scouting, my armor plan is to Dual Path into Guardian just for Armor Master, which would remove dex penalty, max dex, and spell failure from light, medium, and heavy with each time I take it. So, Paige could still very easily scout in full plate by her third tier, if I take all three. Her Dex will be moving up as we progress (the 16 con is more of an initial investment), so she'd actually make a really survivable scout once her build comes together. Bardadin, which means saves through the roof, and the benefits of high Dex plus full plate. No way I'd ruin all the skill money parts of Bardadin like that.

Female Human Paladin/Shaman 2 | HP: 20 | AC: 21 (16)/12/14 | Fort +6, Ref +6, Will +9 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 18 | Init: +2 | Perception: +8 |

One thing you might consider if you don't want to go all the way to heavy is going Dual-Path Trickster instead and snagging Path Dabbling: Armor Mastery and some form of mithril medium armor. Given your bard half, that might make for some interesting options that Guardian wouldn't get you (Unending Performance (Su) and Unwavering Skill (Ex) for instance).

Female Human Paladin/Bard 2 | HP: 18/24 | AC: 16/12/14 | Fort +10, Ref +10, Will +8 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 17 | Init: +7 | Perception: +5

Trickster has a lot of good stuff for Bards, but I'd be dipping into three different paths at that point, and there'd be so little time to ever actually get my Marshal abilities. I chose Marshal over Trickster because Trickster is what I would have taken in any other game, and I want to play against type a little bit, so I'll go without all the fun toys for once in favour of other, equally fun toys I never get a chance to play with.

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

Tarov is going to stick to mostly Guardian, I think, and just pick up Titan's Bane and Titan's Rage from Champion, I think. Those abilities really fit what I imagine a mythic dwarven warrior to be like (able to charge underfoot of huge enemies and dodging between their legs to avoid blows, and the ability to bust out the WC3 Mountain King ultimate when he feels like it!) but most of my stuff is going to be making Tarov tough as nails.

Since your Bardic Performances and my Inspiring Commands don't stack, how do you want to handle them, Paige?

-e-

Since the snake acts before me, should I wait for you to post its action, or just go ahead and act now?

If the enemy acts before you, do not post - wait until after it's acted, then note what you'd like to do. ^^

Male Dwarf Defender 12 [ HP: 209/209 THP: 0/0 | AC: 24, T: 12, FF: 24 | CMD: 31 | F: +17, R: +14, W: +18 (+5 vs. spells and SLAs, +3 vs. poison) | Init: +8, Per: +26 | 1: 7/7, 2: 7/7, 3: 5/5, 4: 4/4 | DDP: 0/36, GB: 12/12, MP: 5/5, P: 10/10, SM: 9/9, SR: 12/12 ]

Roger. Hanging tight, then.

Female Human Paladin/Bard 2 | HP: 18/24 | AC: 16/12/14 | Fort +10, Ref +10, Will +8 | BAB +2, CMB +5, CMD 17 | Init: +7 | Perception: +5

Hm. Well, for now I'd say we could just alternate between them, and then once we've leveled further and have more options, work out how to handle it. I'm eyeing the Marshal ability that lets Inspire Courage's bonus apply to all saves, so if I take that Tarov could focus on Heroics and Greatness as needed. Alternately, Paige could grab some Masterpieces. Not too sure where I want to go yet.
