I don't remember where, but I remember reading somewhere that if there's a suitable animal within 100 miles, it will come to the ritual. Part of why it takes a day is for the suitable animal to get there.

we can still get out of the Necropolis: we should report in anyway, and rest up -- just continue our investigations the next day (Hadjii will be rather nerfed, but hey sometimes that happens anyway! I once had this bardbarian that wound up going out and into battle while drained 12 levels! Sometimes ya just gotta keep going...). The way things have been going, we will probably make 6th with just one more day in the necropolis...

Logos follows the group, not sure who they are reporting into, and just stands in the background, trying not to look unfriendly. "Oh, I don't need a day, but I don't mind the day off." Logos says in response to everyone saying they need a day off. He had nothing to sell or buy.

I assume that would be in the wilderness outside the city, but if such a beast can somehow be called from within the city, then great.

Hadjii shows up early the 2nd morning with an unusually large wolf! He introduces his new friend, Sheeba, and makes sure Sheeba is clear the party is all friends. He turns quite wolf-like for a minute or so, and speaks to Sheeba (Totem Transformation allows Speak With Animals at will whilst tranformed).

Logos, upon finding that a wolf will be joining the party, goes to the market and buys 10 gp worth of dried jerky. Also, just realized I made a mistake on Logos's languages, with his background, he should have picked up Sylvan rather than Auran, since he's used Terran already. Raised by a Dryad and all.

You guys do your thing and upon returning Sebiti fills you in that Authur and his group had finally returned.. They had lost 2 of the numbers to traps and undead clearing out the tunnels, but in the end they were successful. The tunnel does indeed penetrate into the Necropolis and actually come out quite close to one of the Compass locations.. They now have the tunnel secure and snetries posted so if you wish to enter that way you can.. And with that she bids you good luck again.

Ok so yall gather your things and you set out.. Huge f'in wolf alongside you.. You reach the tunnels no problem and make your way down a series of corridors, that are lit, until you reach a pair of doors guarded by 4 priests/warriors of some sort. They open the doors and you see a set of stairs leading up. As you head up you find yourselves in a room with an Elegiac Compass.. It too seems to be brokenm, but perhaps with your spare parts you will have better luck at fixing it.. Know Engin check please

Er, Logos has Uncanny Dodge (Level 5), so unless they're level 9 and have uncanny dodge as well, he's not FF?

Logos growls a snarling sound of the wilds, and steps back five feet away from the creature. Then a nimbus of energy surrounds him, and he grows, bigger and bigger, until he's the same size as the wolf.

When you step 5' away the creature follows you, so need a concentration roll.. Also continous damage requires you roll concentration, but normal concentration will be higher so just roll for it..
