Knowledge Checks

Move action to sheathe and it provokes an AoO; dropping it in an adjacent square is a free action.

Since nobody is adjacent to Konner he can sheathe it, 5' step, and attack.

Knowledge Checks

I'll put this up as we are getting a bit confused on the order; after his round 2 turn, Konner has moved to his current square and picked the sword. Any sheathing will have to happen in Round 3.

Aroden staggers southeast and tries not to bleed too much.
He does provide Konner a flank, but looks to be barely standing.
(Remember to update Konner's AC for the Mage Armor and potion. Should be 21 AC, and +10 to hit with the flank for 1d8+6.)

Knowledge Checks

The Wicked-Looking Skeleton stares in disbelief as his ribcage falls to the ground one percolating rib at a time from underneath its chainmail.

"Blasted mage!!! t'was a diversion! how dare you insult the might of Asar!!! If I fall, I shall TAKE YE WITH ME!!!!"

Sense Motive DC minus 10 that he wants to kill Aroden dead at this point, fueled with madness and incapable to reconcile that he has been bested by a mageling.

He still has AC equivalent to Fullplate, but the way PDK is rolling it may not matter. One hit and he is down, but that might buy you guys the time you need. Hopefully he won't continue to attack Aroden if he goes unconscious -- that's typically a tactic rarely used in PFS.

Waiting for Konner's breakdown of his dmg bonus as I don't get the +6 to dmg; if anyone has the answer feel free to provide it. Please also clarify if you're still holding two swords and if this would affect your rolls, as well as indicate if you have slashing grace as a feat instead of the fencing grace currently shown in your stats. Thx.

Edit: please also provide the attack bonus breakdown. It's customary in a lot of PbP games to provide all the pluses and minuses as part of the dice line in order to assist the GM. Thanks!

Edit2: still waiting for Konner to adjust the BBEG's hp - which wouldn't be enough to down Asar anyways; in the meantime I'll have the two remaining bad guys do their turns now.

Thanks Aroden. I also now realize that he "can treat a falcata as a one-handed piercing melee weapon for the purposes of the swashbuckler’s finesse". I also see that Spark swung at a regular skeleton and not the boss... so the boss' hps have been corrected below.

After Asar has been destroyed, you check on Dimira, who is alive but unconscious (stable at –1 hp). When you revive her at the magic fountain, along with Aroden and Alezandaru, she tells you about everything that happened here, from the moment Asar
kidnapped her, through his questioning, and up until she
fell unconscious. She knows nothing about the bandits,
but did hear some of the others mention that it appeared
someone else had been here before. Dimira is very relieved
when she learns her brother is still alive and she wants to
go speak with him as soon as possible.

When you go to light the lantern with the
Everflame (a permanent magical fire like a continual
flame spell that gives off heat), the spirit of Kassen stirs
from its rest and rises up to thank you for putting
an end to Asar. He tells you all about Asar and his
relationship with the mercenary captain. Although he
does so reluctantly, he even reveals that the two of them
were once adventuring companions, and that they split
ways afer acquiring a great deal of treasure. Kassen
is sure that Asar felt cheated after their last quest and
that is why he came to attack the town. Kassen knows
nothing about the bandits, but notes they only stole
the amulets with which he and Asar were buried.
These amulets are part of a key that opens up the great
treasure vault they plundered so long ago. Kassen
remembers little about the vault itself, but he does
remember that the amulet points the way to the vault if
it is reassembled from its three component parts. The
last part was given to Iramine, an elven sorceress that
was part of their group.

After giving his thanks, Kassen reaches into his
sarcophagus and produces several items, giving them to
you all with his thanks. Afer handing out the gifts, he
slowly fades from view, returning to his eternal rest.
Treasure: see chronicle sheet, and one scale
from his armor for each adventurer. Kassen explains that these
scales will grant them his boon in their hour of need.

The journey back to Kassen is somber and uneventful.
Roldare is thrilled to see Dimira again and seems to have regained most
(but not all) of his sanity.

When you finally return to Kassen, you find a
celebration underway in your honor. Mayor Uptal is there
to greet you at the gates, but his joy at your return quickly
turns to horror when he finds out what has happened. The
news quickly spreads throughout town and the harvest
celebration turns melancholy. The folk do not blame you for what happened, and most are rather grateful that
this new menace is ended. The grand feast is still held in
your honor, but it is not the same as it was in previous
years. This year, many are drinking to help forget that
they have lost friends and loved ones. Plans are made to
return to the crypt and bury the slain townsfolk.

During this celebration, Cygar stops to talk with you
for a few moments. He mentions he might
have some work for them if they are interested. Cygar has
taken an interest in the recent events, and he is sure the Pathfinder Society would like to see the tomb robbers that caused
this mess called to account for their actions. He then asks
if they might be interested in getting to the bottom of this
puzzle and, if they agree, he blends back into the crowd,
saying only that he will be in touch (see the sequel to this
adventure, Masks of the Living God, for more information).

Spark heads back to town with the rest of the party and the rescued brother and sister. She is somber through the festivities, contemplating all that went on in the crypt, but she does her best to wear at least a modicum of a smile for the sake of the young folk who are hopefully are enjoying the celebration.

She nods to Cygar when he mentions the tomb raiders and bringing them to justice. "This would be a fine quest, worthy of the Society and a task I would be happy to undertake. Count me in, when the time comes."

I believe she needs a couple of levels to play that though
