Negative Levels:

For each negative level a creature has, it takes a cumulative –1 penalty on all ability checks, attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, Combat Maneuver Defense, saving throws, and skill checks. The creature is also treated as one level lower for the purpose of level-dependent variables (such as spellcasting) for each negative level possessed. The Fort save is to make them not be permanent after 24 hours.

Energy Drain:
Energy Drain (Su) This attack saps a living opponent's vital energy and happens automatically when a melee or ranged attack hits. Each successful energy drain bestows one or more negative levels (the creature's description specifies how many). If an attack that includes an energy drain scores a critical hit, it bestows twice the listed number of negative levels. Unless otherwise specified in the creature's description, a draining creature gains 5 temporary hit points for each negative level it bestows on an opponent. These temporary hit points last for a maximum of 1 hour. Negative levels remain until 24 hours have passed or until they are removed with a spell, such as restoration. If a negative level is not removed before 24 hours have passed, the affected creature must attempt a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 draining creature's racial HD + draining creature's Cha modifier; the exact DC is given in the creature's descriptive text). On a success, the negative level goes away with no harm to the creature. On a failure, the negative level becomes permanent. A separate saving throw is required for each negative level.

I'm guessing it's obvious these have energy drain now.

Kaladin asks, "I donnae suppos any o' ye have enny diamond dust?" He looks around but everyone's attention is on the frightful presences infront. "No? Meh neither! Gonna have ta wing it witha patchup job..."

Sotto voce he murmurs, "Pulura! A little help if ye please..." A nimbus of yellowish light the color of corn and a gentle warmth, settles around Konny like a blanket. He feels the icy touch of undeath receding, at least for a while.

Kaladin uses Inspiration to cast Death Ward on Konny, lasting 9 minutes. Konny you can ignore the negative levels while this lasts.

Navi hovers besides Kaladin, keeping watch.

Yeah I had intended that for round 1.

Kaladin shuffles forwards a bit and does something really strange. He pulls out out of his cloak what looks like an ostrich feather and he does a funny little dance muttering some ullulating chant. At culmination of which he gestures with the feather and shouts at the spirit, "Fate be fickle, an turn 'gainst thee!"

Kaladin used the Misfortune Hex. DC 20 will save or it gets to roll d20's twice with the worst result.

"I have never felt anything hit me like that before. Very... uncomfortable feeling. Thank you for your help, Kaladin."

Kaladin nods slightly then looking at the Dwarf sadly, warns him, "The spell I used, t'wont last. Few minutes respite at best, best push on."

Kaladin starts moving forwards but it's Navi who flutters forwards, saying, "You can't see so well in the gloom. I can." He nods sagely and begs her, "Careful lass, tha might be anything down ere..."

Navi heads forward and discovers the jail has three more doors, one that seems to hold closed a set of open area cells. The other two she cannot determine what lay behind them. She senses something in the open cell area...she cannot see them but she can sense several forms waiting, lurking.

Area G3 is an open area of cells. I added two colored lines to indicate the other two doors north and south

Navi returns, and informs the group, "There are two doors north and south, which appear to be cells. There's also an open area behind bars with another door to the east. There was something lurking there, something horrid. I don't think it saw me. This place is cursed, I hope the gods give us the courage to cleanse it."

Konny I guess you get the honor of checking for traps and stuff. I'm not sure there's anything particular to choose when it comes to a door so maybe we should check all of them?

Two large prison cells flank this large interrogation chamber. The entryway to each cell is lined with multiple layers of arcane sigils scribed into the floor, lintels, and even the barred door. While the symbols around the western cell door glow with red light, those to the east do not and its prison door hangs open.

If you inspect the rooms:
The walls of the cell (area G4a) have been decorated with hundreds upon hundreds of butterfly images, scratched into the stone by claws. While the unhallow effect persists here, the Abyssal infusion and whispers of madness do not. The entire cell radiates strong chaos and good-auras that increase to overwhelming on the
northern wall, where a short prayer has been scratched into the wall

If Konny enters the area:
You feel particularly energetic and gain fast healing 1 as long as you remain within the room(Area G4a). In addition, you experience an overwhelming sense of deja vu in this chamber, and you know that the mysterious person who saved her in childhood was the same person who, until recently, spent time in this cell.

"Oh, it feels great inside here. It is hard to describe the feeling, but... somebody I met before, who helped me before, was here not long ago. Desna smiles! There are butterflies scratched on the walls here! I love this place. And there is also a prayer to Desna!" Konny exclaims as he moves around the rooms.

Navi flutters about inspecting the cell and the scratched prayer, and remarks to Konny, "This cell. It feels different, very different. I can sense no evil here, yet outside the very air is so thick with it I could almost cut it with a knife."

She ponders and continues, "They say if somebody spends long enough in a place, an impression of them rubs off. Blending into the woodwork so to speak. Still who could possibly have been strong enough to leave such an impression? And how did they survived long enough to do so? And where are they now? Perhaps this is what Staunton wrote about."

"Staunton? Oh, right, the journal. You mean this could be the place they held the succubus?" Konny pulls out the journal and starts searching for the part about the Abyssal heretic.

"Here it is." he exclaims and starts paraphrasing the information about the creature. "Staunton mentions a special prisoner who's been kept in the Drezen dungeons-a succubus by the name of Aureshalae who was captured by Aponavicius. Staunton knows the succubus is some sort of Abyssal heretic and that the marilith wanted her kept prisoner until a special oubliette in the Rasping Rifts on the Abyss was ready for her. The fact that the succubus escaped not long after Aponavicius left Drezen in Staunton's hands is a major point of worry for the dwarf He's sent several minions out into the Worldwound to track her, noting that her loss of certain demonic abilities is the one saving grace and hoping her inability to teleport or become ethereal will allow his agents to find her and return her to Drezen before Aponavicius finds out she's managed to flee into the wilds of the Wounded Lands. The final note in the diary talks of how he hired an annis hag cultist of Sifkesh to track her down as well, and that if this final attempt fails, he intends to seek out Arueshalae himself once this matter with the so- called heroes of Kenabres is settled."

She looks unusually proud of her abysmal pun.

I'm betting we'll find out more by pushing on deeper into the dungeon.
