That's unfortunate, I was hoping to heal him this round but I can't. Unfortunately I think it would be too risky for Kaladin to sprint up there with only 26 HP, one more fireball would KO him.

Kaladin's jaw almost hits the floor and he looks at Victrix anew. With more than a little awe he mutters, "Fiery donnae begin ta describe ya Lady!"

Kaladin snaps back into focus when he feel's Konny's pain through the link! "Where'd he go?", Kaladin looks about desperately and then with a sinking feeling he looks up at the tower, "Ah hell..."

Navi heals some of Kaladins wounds.

Burning mythic power freely, Kaladin whispers for healing from Pulura. He grimaces with pain as bones and cartilage shift and knit completely healing the chest wound.

Konny looks at the siege machine. "You know, what if we use the catapult instead of disabling it? Maybe we could fire on and destroy the other ones... I was thinking about using them during the attack on the citadel, but we should disable it afterward, as the demons are obviously able to teleport right here, so any crew could be overwhelmed and the catapult used against us."

I actually had a similar idea even before the int check :-)

I was thinking more along the lines of you guys knocking out the other two towers in your way. So that we don't have to do more combats...after that you can set this catapult aflame or use it to besiege the citadel.

Realizing he knows noting about siege weaponry and that he and Konny are still wounded, Kaladin does some healing.

Whoever is firing the catapult needs to roll an attack using their BaB and Kn:Engineering OR INT. -4 penalty for being nonproficient applies, unless Belle casts Bestow Weapon proficiency.

The other two people on the "crew" must make STR checks to load the catapult and then wind it. There are 10 large stones available to load. The DC is 15 for the STR check. Failure means that the stone takes 2x as long to load, meaning that instead of one shot per round then you only get 1 shot per 2 rounds.

The closest Tower is a mere 60' away. Well within the first range increment.

Rules:

Indirect Attack: To fire an indirect-fire ranged siege engine, the crew leader makes a targeting check against the DC of the siege engine. This check uses his base attack bonus, his Intelligence modifier (if not trained in Knowledge [engineering]) or Knowledge (engineering) skill modifier (if trained in that skill), any penalty for not being proficient in the siege engine, and the appropriate modifiers. If the check succeeds, the ammunition of the indirect attack hits the square the siege engine was aimed at, dealing the indicated damage or effect to any object or creature within the area of its attack. Creatures may get a saving throw to limit the effect of the attack; this is typically based on the type of ammunition used.

If the attack misses the intended square, roll 1d8 to determine in what direction the shot veers. A roll of 1 indicates the ammunition falls short (toward the siege engine), with rolls of 2 through 8 counting squares clockwise around the target square. Roll 1d4 for every range increment at which the attack was made (1d4 if the target square is within the engine's first range increment, 2d4 if the target square is within the second range increment, and so on). The total is the number of squares by which the attack misses, with the direction in which the squares are counted determined by the d8 roll. The ammunition deals its damage and any other effects in the square it lands on.
